Nothing to be afraid of, she quietly carried on repeating ‘Vaahi-guroo, Vaahi-guroo’ in time to her steps and Guru Gobind Singh jee’s glove of spiritual love completely protected her. She looked through the trees at the magnificent setting sun, for a moment she forgot all about the war and was lost in the magic and mystery of the Creative Being - Karta Purakh. She felt as beautiful as a blossoming flower radiating love and life…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH I love this story posted by gurpreet singh on waheguroo forums. It had been 3 days, long hot summer days. Sukh Nidhaan Singh was close to dyeing, as he lay there in a wooden cage on a cart drawn by two horses. He had been captured by the mughal forces near the jungles of afhgan. He hadn't slept or eaten properly for days so he was weak when he was pounced upon by the mughal soldiers. he had put up a good fight and even killed a few of them, but he was injured and he was overpowered and captured. The mughal soldiers had tied him upside down from a tree and beaten him severely. the mughal Soldiers thought that instead o…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received." I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world. Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section. The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH When the great Sufi mystic, Hasan, was dying, somebody asked "Hasan, who was your master?" He said, "I had thousands of masters. If I just relate their names it will take months, years and it is too late. But three masters I will certainly tell you about. One was a thief. Once I got lost in the desert, and when I reached a village it was very late, everything was closed. But at last I found one man who was trying to make a hole in t he wall of a house. I asked him where I could stay and he said 'At this time of night it will be difficult, but you can say with me - if you can stay with a thief' And the man was so beautiful.…

Vangaar: The First Sermon of Guru Hargobind Sahib Taken from “Gur Bhari” by Pr. Satbir Singh Translated by Admin www.tapoban.org Guru Hargobind Sahib’s first sermon must be heard again today and applies just as much now as it did when he first gave it. Guru Arjan Dev had been brutally tortured and embraced martyrdom, becoming an example for the Panth. The Sikhs were grief-struck and felt a sense of despair. The small Panth of Guru Nanak had been targeted by the mighty power of the Mughals. Guru Hargobind Sahib, became the next Guru as per the orders of his father. In front of all the gathered Sikhs, Baba Buddha jee put the two swords of meeri and peeri on Guru Harg…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH The will of God will never take you, Where the grace of God cannot keep you. Where the arms of God cannot support you, Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs, Where the power of God cannot endow you. The will of God will never take you, Where the spirit of God cannot work through you, Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you, Where the army of God cannot protect you, Where the hands of God cannot mold you. The will of God will never take you, Where the love of God cannot enfold you, Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you, Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears, Where the author…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA! WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH! Guru Gobind Singh Ji used to go places and on the way many sikhs woulda gather to give Guru Ji parnaam and get their darshan. Guru Ji looked at one particaluar person on his way, smiled, and then walked past. This Singh was very happy at this. but didn't have a clue why he was liked the most. Anyways one day, the SIkh's wife started to complain, that he looked old. Why? because he had a smal group of white hair on the middle on his darhi. Obviously white hair makes you look old, and he was young to have the white hairs, so following his wife's advice he dyed that bit black. The next day, Guru Ji was walking past and the Sikh…

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Guroo Amar Das' elder daughter, Dani, was married to a pious Sikh named Rama. His younger daughter, Bibi Bhani, was married to Jetha who was also most devoted to serving the Guroo and his Sikhs. A gathering of followers came to the Guroo and said, " Both Rama and Jetha are equally related to you and both perform works with great devotion. Although Rama is older, you seem to favor Jetha. Would you please tell us why?" The Guroo said, "I am looking for the one who serves with greater faith, devotion, humility, and obedience. I am going to make a trial of Jetha and Rama; whoever fulfils my wishes the best will be the worth…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA - WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Song Of The KHALSA By Livtar Singh Many speak of courage. Speaking cannot give it. It's in the face of death that we must live it. When things are down and darkest, that's when we stand tallest. Until the last star falls, we won't give an inch at all! Stand as the Khalsa, strong as steel, steady as stone. Give our lives to God and Guru, mind and soul, breath and bone. Guru Arjun gave His Life, to stand for what was right. He was burned and tortured, five long days and nights. He could have stopped it any time, just by giving in. His Strength a solid wall, He never gave an inch at all! Sons of the Khalsa, …

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH A group of Geography students studied the Seven Wonders of the World. At the end of that section, the students were asked to list what they considered to be the Seven Wonders of the World. Though there was some disagreement, the following got the most votes: 1. Egypt's Great Pyramids 2. Taj Mahal 3. Grand Canyon 4. Panama Canal 5. Empire State Building 6. St. Peter's Basilica 7. China's Great Wall While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet girl, hadn't turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The quiet girl replied, "Yes, a little. I cou…

Gurfateh, I am comprising a picture frame for myself, where I want to have the most effective Kirtans/Shabads from the Gurbani. Can I request from the Saad Sangat, to post your favorite Shabad (I know the whole of Gurbani is beautiful and many can not differentiate between them). If you do not have one favorite, post two or even three. Please if possible quote the page number and what scriptures it has come from (Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Siri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji, etc) Thanks a million Gurfateh

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH One day as Satguru Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji Maharaj was hunting he saw a wounded snake crawling with difficulty. It was tortured by worms which it tried to shake off by wriggling and shaking its body. Guru Ji not only put the animal out of its pain, but granted it salvation. The author of the Suraj Parkash states that its spirit in the form of a bright light was seen to issue from its body and soar to the heaven. The sikhs asked Guru Ji what the light was. Guru Ji replied, 'This serpent was in somewhat the same state as the python seen by my grandfather (Satguru Sri Guru Har Gobind Sahib Ji Maharaj) in Malwa. This serpent…
