When I was younger (teenaged) I used to wonder why gurbani would talk of the mind wondering and having 'doubt' about Guru/God etc As we get older is it natural to have this battle with the mind ? Is it the 'innocence' of childhood that means you just have a stronger faith ? Is it because you develop a deeper mind that actually works against your own faith as you get older (I mean say between aged 18+ into middle-age).
