  1. We are at war, plain and simple. The Hindu Takht will be honoring Sajjan Kumar in the near future to respond to SGPC's honoring Shaheeds Sukha Jinda. Oue heroes are seen as foes by them, their heroes are seen as monsters by us. We are at war Singho, and we're at war already. The sooner you wake up to it and realize it, the better. Problem is that while we don't want this to turn into a Hindu vs Sikh deal, these Kuttee Sena will make it look like that. They say they will purposely hurt Sikh sentiments. They are openly declaring war on us and have hidden agendas on how they will be executing their planned operations. Yes, we're at war, plain and simple.

  4. dont want to go off topic, but he wasnt the one responsible. i watched that so-called interview on ibn and the anchor is so biased, its unbelievable. Kiran Jot Kaur played a good defence with Bhagat Singh, but should have followed it up, when the anchor said, Bhagat Singh fought for indias freedom, by killing the murderers of indians, She should have replied that Sukha and JInda fought for Sikh freedom, in the same way, in killing the murderers of SIkhs. The problem is that when you have SGPC type organisations, they dont or cant say we support Sikh Freedom, or we support Khalistan. They leave themselves open when then asked about 84 memorials and Sukha and Jinda. Their fence-sitting is causing them problems. SGPC have never endorsed, rejected or said anything about Khalistan or 1984. If that had been me in KiranJots place, i would have said straight, " the indian army is a terrorist army and murderers to us, in the same way that Sukh and Jinda are murderers and terrorists to you. You build your memorial to your terrorists, we'll build ours. " But of course some Sikhs in india dont have the courage to call the ravan sena indian army, as such. It would have been better if they had someone like Baba Baljeet Singh Dadu Sahib wale, he would have told them straight.

  5. I think the Indian government is waiting for all of us to die, so they can wipe the accounts of Blue-Star and 1984 from the record books. This memorial puts a hitch in their plan, as generations to come will learn about the crimes of the Indian government against its own people. It's quite shameful. Never Forget.

  6. India media system is soooo rubbish, how on earth can they say those things on tv, when the whole world knows what happened. We maybe abroad, but we know what happened. They try to twist the truth, yes Kiranjit Kaur gave a gr8 answer, the truth, which others are trying to hide and dramatise into something else.

  7. No Kishori Lal here. Quick google search has revealed: The jogi in the centre of the videos is Sanjiv Hari aka Sanjeev/ Sanjiv Daas Hari. He is the head (dharamandhish meaning mukhi)of the Shri Hindu Takht based at Maha Kali Mandir in Patiala. They are a trouble-making organisation. He has previously called himself the head of a nirmala akhara. His other title is the Mahamandelshwar 1008 Shri Sanjiv Hari. It appears that he is a self proclaimed busy body head of an organisation that over the last few years has been demonstarting for demands by making tall claims eg aggitation within so many days if such and such is not done, self immolation of members if such and such is not done. He has formed part of a delegation with the Shiv Sena in the past and met with SAD and Badal Sahib a few years ago over concerns about Sikh militancy in the Punjab - Badal just gave them lip service. It looks like that they are trying to use more volatile means to make themselves heard. They claim to have Hindu followers all over Punjab. In reality they are small-fry - nothing worth taking too seriously. Now that he's raised the stakes he is no longer going to be the anonymous jogi whose demonstrations cause annoyance to a few people not being able to park near the shopping mall in Ludhiana or wherever he shows up. He's just desperate for the limelight. A wannabe.

  8. It will have to be overseas, as the public/hindus/indian govt dont care about if we are correct or not. They are not going to say Brar is a liar, cos of the repercussions over bluestar. let them do their barking in their own country, and we present the facts to the world.

  9. What else was destroyed or looted? Many sacred manuscripts were either destroyed or looted during operation bluestar with the burning of the Sikh Reference Library. Many puratan (old) handwritten copies of sri Guru Granth Sahib were collected at the Sikh Reference Library post 1947. Some of these saroops were said to be written by Sikhs of Guru Sahib. I have read that the library contained over 400 saroops. However knowbody knos to date whether they were looted and stored by the Indian government or shaheed (burnt in fire). The SGPC has not done enough in regards to finding the truth behind what happened. The SGPC should be continuously pursuing the Indian government in regards any items that were looted. Saying this however, what can we expect from to receive from the same Government that carried out this horrible attack. We still have not yet received justice for victims of 1984. The scars of 1984 are still fresh in the Sikh hearts. So many crimes were committed by individuals who are have not recieved any punishment in this world. However, we will all have to face Dharam Rai in the next world in the true court. There is no hiding there, justice will be done. Satguru Mehar Karan. Panth nuu chardi kala baksho.

  12. Unfortunately there's nothing comedic about these threats. They have proven themselves in terrorism and have proven themselves in the heart of Punjab. Let us also remember how they easily outnumber Sikhs in every town and city in Punjab. Let us not forget how ,a few months ago, during the Rajoana protests in Gudaspur, they were able to, in broad daylight, drag Sikhs from buses, cars and bikes and forcibly remove the dastars from their heads before beating them up. Let us not forget how in Gurdaspur and Patiala they were able to, in broad daylight, set fire to Sikh dastars and then dance with joy around the fire. Let us not forget how, in Gurdaspur, the eye witness footage shows them actually guiding the police and instructing the police as to who to shoot. Oh their threats of terror are very real. As you see from the above examples the difference between us is a difference of grades of civilisations. As we Sikhs are in an advanced state of civilisation we do not have it in us to treat other communities with such inhumanity. They, however, whenever in great numbers, inherently become barbarians. It is in their nature. Think of any inhuman act and trust me....they are more than capable of it.

  13. Beautiful documentry - the Sevadar ji appears very polished. Is the sandal wood Chaur Sahib of Hajji Maskin still part of the Toshakhana or was it destroyed in 1984? I have never seen any contempory pictures of it, but have only read about it. As far as I am aware, as it has never been used by anyone before its presentation to the Harmandir Sahib, it should form part of the jalau in the Durbar Sahib itself on such days when jalau is displayed, but its never there. What else was destroyed or looted? The jalau articles that are displayed comprise of only a few puratan treasures and it is difficult to believe that there was not much more, given the bounties our past Sardars and Rajas collected and according to history donated.

  16. But do you accept the maryada of the mahapurkhs and the nihang dals, ie. the rest of the panth? Because they don't allow the removal of facial hair for bibiyan either. Actually, she mentioned on reddit that she had received treatment for a hormonal imbalance while in high school. So there is no right wing mindset at work here. The hormonal imbalance was corrected, however the facial hair remained. Being a Gursikh and not wishing to commit a bajjar kurhait, she opted to keep the kesh instead of following the weak minded worldly people. I respect that greatly.

  17. Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh Leading up to the forthcoming programme on Sri Dasam Granth Sahib on the Sikh Channel here is a article showing that the same sources of Sikh history that are employed to justify Guru Granth Sahib are the ones that show the importance of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib. This article was written for the Sikh Magazine Sant Sipahai and published in March 2010. Historical sources on Guru Granth Sahib and Sri Dasam Granth Please leave feedback on my website. 18. Wow he said "Harmandir Sahib teh hamla bohut vadiya hoya" despicable statement wonder if they would give the same statement if their Haridwar was attacked in order to get rid of "terrorists." And how he boasts about their symbol being a sher. Well Singh= Lion. Theres no comparison!

  20. We can't start blaming each other. As far as I see it, the jaat paat won't go on after a few generations, especially with us guys in the west. The kids of tomorrow are not going to care who's grandpa wasa farmer, lohar or kumar. The great grandkids of papa chamaar will be proud to wear leather Nikes and Adidas. At the end of the day, it was the Jatts that contributed to the biggest shaheedian. The funny thing about the Jatts is that they will preach and say that ''jaat paat nahin chahidee'- it's wrong and ghalath. Then later they will say to each other ''mein Jatt da putha'' - anyone mess with me, I will show them what this jatt does...etc... Hey, most of the fun we have in punjabi is infused by the same jatts. I will be honest, I don't agree with jaat and caste and mixing it in with sikhi, But at the end of the day- when the Jatt song starts playing, I have to be there doing my bit of desi bhangra. Nothing makes a jatt more proud of dancing with regards to his own trade of khethi and farming. Unlike brahmins...etc.. Jatt don't go around saying they are the best or they are better, but they are simply proud of their contribution to agriculture and love to celebrate their hard work and earnings with the rest of the world.!!! Saying that, all punjabis whatever caste are pretty harmless and not too offensive for any reason. Long live the punjabis

  23. This rubbish obviously shows whos the terrorists and what their real agenda is, i mean they've given a deadline after which they said they're gonna attack innocent people. Like you said earlier its best we stay on the legal route, it would be our job to inform the rest of the world about all this. If the Indian media is trying show Sikhs in the worst possible light to the whole of India and is saying we condone the so-called attempted murder of one individual who himself is responsible for the murder of thousands then we need to capitalise on any attacks on Sikhs and show the whole world all the lies, all the bakwaas of the GOI and what Sikhs are facing...we need to show them everything! If these bandars really do decide to attack they wont be able to cover anything up now.

  27. All those who are speaking out against the original poster, I will not only believe you guys but will in fact salute you the day when you marry off your Amritdhari daughters to an Amritdhari Singh belonging to a background totally different to yours. Until then, have fun posting whatever on Sikhsangat.com, an online Sikh forum where you can use fake names and make comments without any accountability

  28. I am anyway going to reply to Mann's original post. Agreed that jatts are not the highest as per Brahmin caste law system. However, We sikhs do not believe in such caste class crap. Jatts in fact are very brave and open heart if compared with regular city folks (BTW, i llived my whole indian life in city). I am not sure where you read that British India passed law favoring only Jatts. In fact British forces were strongly against jatts as they only got strong resistance from them. Punjab is the only state in past where any low class (which still called untouchables in various parts of india) held high posts of political stage. Saying jatt politicians are bad if comparing politican with other caste is pure amatuer. I will give you recent example of Badal's Cabinet minister; Raineke who is from low class was involved in hefty corruption and criminal cases. Politicians regardless of castes are usually bad. Freedom of whatever you want to do. If they are preaching to gain low caste attendees then they are free to do that but we sikh kaum only draw line when they mingle in our sikh religious affairs. Current SGPC head is not jatt and he is managing the whole 800+ crores of annual budget of sikh kaum. Head of all Delhi based historical gurudwaras are managed by chandok in past and by sarna brothers and see how good they are doing by supporting anti-sikh elements. Again, you see all caste type people leading major sikh institutions and many of them are not doing it good. I don't know where you are getting the facts. Sant ji is one of the most respected sikh leader we have ever got since mid of 18th century and that is the fact. I don't listen to punjabi songs so don't know what their lyrics are. However, i want you to read indian law about quota and reservation system. I don't know how billions of people in india will survive if they don't support the farming industry of the north. Providing free energy for farmers to run motor is like throwing a penny to them. I am not sure which country you are from but in my country there are millions of billions federal grant given to farmers. Do you even have a clue the scrooge type arthiya system - the middle man who buy crops from farmers at pennies and sell them at high cost to govt and others. Punjabi farmers cannot sell direct to anyone without involvement of government. Do you think that is fair? and hanji, majority of arthiyaas are from non-jatt community. If non-jatts are doing good then it is good for them but hey brother, we should not be happy if others are doing well.. yeh? Maybe true but hey... its all thanks to the think tank government who are providing all drugs openly ! By above, so you are not mann? When you are religious person or a person who is seriously trying to live life as per sikh code of conduct then surnames does not matter. It is okay to be proud of your community but make sure that it doesn't break any sikh code of conduct. Sikhi is 100% against Class/caste system. Never ever judge other person because of his last name. pre-judgement is ignorance.
