  1. Educate yourselves watch RajoanaTV episodes..This is all part of the "faceless war", Ask yourselves..why has Punjab got the highest number of illegal abortion clinics out of any indian state ? Why are drugs and government alcohol stores being pumped in Punjab ? Why are there so many fake government sponsred fake sants and babay like Sacha Sauda, Austosh etc etc..who are allowed under police protection to spread fake parchaar and attack Sikhs...when real parcharaks like Sant Baljit Singh Daduwal are arrested and jalied for speaping the truth ?? Why are hundreds of Sikhs rotting in jails with fake cases ?? These are all facets of the faceless war, the government cant be seen to massacre people in the streets, these are the new undercover avenues of attack.. The diferences in Sex ratios mean .. more and more people will be forced to find partners outside of their own faith and culture...hence diluting and losing their faith slowly but surely...

  2. Read and understand Japji Sahib and Sukhmani Sahib. Until then don't bother to reply. I haven't checked it out how it is up there. No, you are the one avoiding all my questions and refusing to read or learn anything suggested to you before you ask your next question. If you don't bother about what is being told to you, why would anyone bother about your opinion either? That tells a lot about you, your viewpoint, and exposes the reason for 24 pages worth of entertainment for yourself and wasting other people's time. If thats the kind of attitude and arrogance you have then you can go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe it. No one here will be bothered to entertain you anymore than they already have.

Sometiimes when one asks Satguru to fulfill a desire the time taken can be dependant on one's Pararabdh {accumulation of past deeds}. In fact our entire make up , the reason for being in this world , our family , and relations etc. are all goverened by our Pararabdh. The beauty of Naam Khalsa Ji is that it can burn away our negative Pararabdh , hence leaving us with our positive Pararabdh {which induces sukh = pleasures}. One's Pararabdh is a vicious circle in the sense that we are living out our past karams and at the same time accumulating new ones. The newly accumulated karams without Naam will again bear fruition and give rise to dukh {torment/pain}. Naam Khalsa Ji is the Bramh Agni {fire} that burns our Pararabdh to a cinder , thus leaving it incapable of fruition. Some scholars once said to 10th Patshahi Maharajh that it is impossible to break the circle of Pararabdh , hence the life cycle. Guru Ji said to them that just as the Khanda pierces the round chakar {Sikh emblem} in the same way Naam pierces the circle of Pararabdh , hence liberation {mukti}. Khalsa Ji N30Singh on this forum and on Sikhawareness has written some very detailed articles on the subject of Karam/Pararabdh/Atma etc. well worth reading. Waheguru.

  6. It is incedibly stupid for people in India to send young boys and girls out into other countries if they do not have the education and skill sets to be able to obtain employment. Put it this way in the UK, the economy and job market is in recession, UK born and educated people are stuggling to find work or stay in employment. What chance does anyboy from India without a decent education have ?? I understand everyone wants a better future and standard of life for their children and India especially Punjab the outlook and prospects are very poor. But they are no better in any other country unles you have skill sets, education or a support system like family members, scolarship etc etc who can either find you employment or supply the relevant education and training. It is especially stupid and more risky to send young women to countries by themselves where they have no fmaly support, there is no shortage of people waiting to exploit them,

Engage in meditating on Naam and keep asking for kirpa. The beauty of Naam is that even if the desire isn't fulfilled straight away one feels as if they have achieved everything, One's heart fills with Naam rass {sweet nectar} which drowns out all sorrows and grief. This is in total contrast to acquiring pleasures through worldly means alone. Without Naam one may acquire many pleasures but immediately afterwards one feels as if they have not acheived anything at all. A sense of emptiness follows. Only Naam can leave us feeling elated even if the desire takes longer to acquire. Waheguru. Waheguru. Waheguru.

  8. First time i read something which inspired me.. to be a brave sikhni n Bibi Harsharan kaur became an idol for me Bibi Harsharan Kaur: The Final Shaheed of the Battle of Chamkaur In the battle of Chamkaur, Guru Gobind Singh jee and 40 starving Singhs battle the Mughal army. The battle which took place in Chamkaur's mud fort lasted 72 hours and saw the loss of many Mughal soldiers and also 36 of Guru Gobind Singh jee's companions along with the two Sahibzadas. Fighting an army of hundreds of thousands, Guru Gobind Singh jee gave an exhibition of his battle skills. Guru jee, following the orders of the Panth Khalsa (in the form of the Punj Pyaaray) left the fort along with Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Maan Singh and one other Singh, after giving his clothes to Bhai Sangat Singh jee to wear. Only Bhai Sangat Singh and Bhai Sant Singh fought the battle to its end. They too were martyred. Seeing Guru jee's clothes on Bhai Sangat Singh, the Mughals were ecstatic and taking him to be Guru Gobind Singh, cut off his head and took it to Delhi. In every village it was announced that Guru Gobind Singh had been killed, "Look here at his chopped off head! His family is also finished. His two sons were killed in the battle and the two younger ones will also die abandoned. The revolution has been crushed. No one should go to the Chamkaur Fort. No one should cremate the dead Singhs." A tight cordon was put around the Fort. As the soldiers were going from village to village making their announcement, the people were retreating in terror into their homes. However, in village Khroond, a daughter of Guru Gobind Singh, Bibi Harsharan Kaur, asked for her mother's permission to peform the final rites for the Shaheeds. Her old mother replied, "it is total darkness outside and soldiers are everywhere around the fort, how will you even go near?" Hearing this, Kalgeedhar's lioness daughter replied with resolve "I will avoid the soldiers and perform the cremation, and if need be, I'll fight and die." The mother gave her courage and hugged her daughter and then explained the maryada to follow for the cremation. After performing Ardaas, Bibi Harsharan Kaur left for the Chamkaur Fort. The battlefield which saw iron smashing against iron, the bellows of elephants, the trotting of hooves and calls of "Kill! Capture!", was now totally silent and enveloped in complete darkness. In such a situation, the 16 year old girl Bibi Harsharan Kaur avoided the guards and arrived at the Fort. She saw that bodies were lying everywhere and distinguishing between Sikh and Mughal was very difficult. She still had faith and began to find arms with kaRas and torsos with kachheras and heads with long kesh. As she found a body, she would wipe the face of every shaheed. Both Sahibzadas and about 30 The stories of one's ancestors make the children good children. They accept what is pleasing to the Will of the True Guru, and act accordingly. ( Guru Granth Sahib Ji - 951) shaheeds were found and then she began to collect wood. Fearing the approaching light of dawn, Bibi Harsharan Kaur worked very quickly and soon prepared a pyre. She then lit the fire. Seeing the rising flames, the guards were shocked and advanced towards the pyre. Bibi Harsharan Kaur was seen in the light of the flames sitting beside the pyre. She was quietly reciting Keertan Sohilaa. The guards were shocked and confused as to how a lone woman could come into the fort on such a dark night. The guards asked in a loud voice, "Who are you?!" Bibi jee: I am the daughter of Guru Gobind Singh Officer: What are you doing here? Bibi Jee: I am cremating my martyred brothers. Officer: Don't you know about the order that coming here is a crime? Bibi Jee: I know it. Officer: Then why have you disobeyed that order? Bibi Jee: The orders of a false king do not stand before the orders of the Sachay Patshah (True King) Officer: Meaning? Bibi Jee: Meaning that I have respect for the Singhs in my heart and with the Guru's grace I have done my duty. I don't care about your King's orders. Hearing such stern answers from Bibi Harsharan Kaur, the infuriated Mughal soldiers attempted to capture her and attacked. Bibi jee grabbed her kirpaan and fought back with determination. After killing and maiming many soldiers, Bibi Harsharan Kaur was injured and fell to the ground. The soldiers picked Bibi Harsharan Kaur up and threw her into the pyre, burning her alive. The next day the cordon around the Fort was lifted because it was clear that the Sahibzadas and most of the Shaheed Singhs had been cremated. The ancestors of the Phulkiaan family, Rama and Triloka, then cremated whichever Singhs remained. The story of Bibi Harsharan Kaur reached Guru Gobind Singh jee Mahaaraaj in Talvandee Sabo (Damdama Sahib). Upon hearing of her daughter's martyrdom, the old mother thanked Akaal Purakh. She said, "my daughter has proven herself worthy." The story of the cremation of the Chamkaur Shaheeds will forever serve as a glowing star of inspiration for all Singhs and Singhnees.

  12. http://www.1guk.com/projects/1984-awareness/ In recent weeks the Sikh Nation have received shocking news that the Shromani Gurdwara Prabandak Committee (SGPC) wish to do Saskaar of (to cremate) the Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj which was shot in June 1984. These steps have caused uproar within the Sikh community who are strongly against such action. The Saroop is invaluable due to the significant history it represents. In recent years cremation of Old handwritten Gutkeh Sahibs, Pothian (Panj Granthi, Das Granthis), Saroops and historical texts have been cremated in high volume. Before our eyes the history of the Sikh Nation is being attacked and destroyed, leaving us with very little proof of our real history. It is well known fact that Sri Akaal Takht Sahib was looted in 1984, with great losses of rare texts and relics from Guru Ji’s period. Sevadaars from 1G UK were able to obtain three rare images of the aforementioned Saroop which SGPC wish to cremate. These unreleased images show the Saroop was directly shot at and the bullet hole still remains. A harsh memory of 1984… www.1guk.com info@1guk.com www.facebook.com/oneGseva The 1G Page!

  13. What do you say or ask for in the Ardaas? Are your wishes fulfilled? For example, if you asked for a stronger connection with your inner self and to concentrate more while praying, did you get it? What things are factors in this? "Jo Mangey Thakur Apne Te" Do some things be fulfilled later than others? I believe that your are supposed to ask for things that will make your human life successful so you don't have to take part in this cycle again. Some of may laugh.... but once I asked for perfect eyesight again, since I have glasses and I hate them. I value them now and I want a second chance. This is irrelevant and a want, not a need. But I sure would like for it to happen. :biggrin2: So what experiences do you have? -Sorry If I sounded stupid...just want to learn from other experiences. :blush2:

  15. 1. Aggressive society Passive-aggressive in the south; hostile in the north. This upsets people. You can sense it on the roads, in shops, in cinemas, in offices. And definitely in places that sell liquor. Indians who have spent time even briefly in the West are able to sense the offensive nature of India better. Non-Indians are plain shocked. Any interaction with Indians can get violent within moments. The aggression is mostly verbal, but just as bad as physical hostility. This makes people want to leave and never return. 2. Unchanging politics There are six national parties on the Election Commissions roster, 54 state parties and 1,392 registered unrecognised parties. There are 39 parties with members in the Lok Sabha, 29 in the Rajya Sabha [mostly the same as in Lok Sabha]. Yet, when you try to reach the parties with a problem, its remarkably the same everywhere. They all have a jaded air. They all think they know more. They all jump to it when youre willing to fund the party. The narrowness of Indian political parties is like a sledgehammer blow when you actually face it. It drives people away. 3. Anti-everything families Such attitude is passed down from generations. Families could be anti-womens progress, anti-Muslim, anti-Christian, anti-Hindu, anti-meat eaters, anti-free thinkers, anti-anything. The first chance youngsters get in such families, they leave. Mostly on grounds of further study. Few return after they complete their course. In Andhra Pradesh, for instance, every family with means will boast of people living in the West. Curiously, many of them return to family prejudices when in India. 4. Timid governments It is astonishing how deeply this affects Indians. The tame nature of Indian governments seems to rob them of self-esteem. It is often the first thing that comes up in conversations with friends and family living outside India. Governments barring those of Jawaharlal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi have done so little in India that even minor routine administrative decisions appear to be important. This creates a sense that anything goes in India. It makes people defensive and they see no hope. Consequently, many Indians rush to leave. Living outside India makes them grateful for being able to leave the country. 5. Inert justice All else being equal, this is the killer. In mid-2010, there were 32,127,796 cases pending in Indian courts [supreme Court, high courts and lower together]. Indians who have had to be in court seem lacerated by the experience. It creates a conviction that India is an unjust nation. This is enough for people to seek citizenship of other nations. Indians living in the West, principally the UK and the US, speak of how they can trust the system there. Indians in India cant. 6. Inferior intellect Most effort seems centred on keeping backwardness alive. For instance, governments routinely identify communities by their backwardness and keep them that way. Ideas are rare. Even those that merely try to be awake are bludgeoned. For instance, the crafty proposition that corruption is fine because it is a leveller. This is like saying addiction is all right because it brings the wealthy and the wretched together. Instead of trashing the thought, the person saying so was targeted. Also, the three girls who sang in Jammu & Kashmir were not a rock band. Far from it. They were merely holding guitars and singing. That doesnt make anyone a rock band but it was enough to trigger backlash. The simple truth that drives Indians out: Peddlers abound in India; not thinkers. 7. Scary schools This is one of the top three worries of India. Schools and teachers employed by them seem to be seriously short on integrity and skill. It makes parents so fearful that theyd rather leave than risk disaster in India. Those that stay behind, students and teachers, rarely have attractive qualities. Its so bad that diplomats of other nations posted in India almost never educate their children in any Indian school. Progress, if any, comes purely from individual industry. Like the auto drivers daughter in Mumbai who topped the all-India chartered accountancy exam weeks ago. Fact: No Indian university is in the worlds top 200. So they leave. 8. Yearning youth Even worse than the level of education is the fate of youngsters who come through the system. Hope and enthusiasm pull them through, but once they start looking for jobs, it hits them. Management students work at call centres, engineering graduates slog it out in IT jobs, and IT behemoths mostly offer data entry and marketing jobs. All of this is soul-destroying. The result: Youngsters spend time and energy looking to leave India. The lack of avenues breeds resentment and they leave. 9. Measly money Those who do get jobs hate their fate, instead of looking forward to a life of fulfillment. So miserly are employers that Indian professionals cant wait to leave the country. I know of talented chefs and journalists who have spent lakhs of rupees trying to leave India. One chef I know was offered Rs 9000 a month at a five-star hotel. He felt insulted and is seeking to leave at the earliest. Journalists are offered paltry salaries or none at all in the interiors. In many states, owners tell correspondents to attract advertisements so they can take home commission from them. A career in films, too, can be heartbreaking for the young. All of them leave. 10. Talent trample Calamity could be brewing in the story of Arjun Tendulkar, chosen for Mumbais under-14 cricket squad ahead of others with far better performances. A cricket official has said this was done because he has the genes of Sachin Tendulkar. This official shouldve been sacked, but he is gloating instead. Such disrespect of talent has brought India much disgrace. It makes the nation look like a banana republic. Its the same with politics, cinema, journalism, economy, and even art. It makes people leave. They look for countries that respect talent and are willing to pay for it. These are strong reasons why Indians look to leave India because India is a fair weather nation. You can live here only if the going is good. http://www.samachar.com/10-great-reasons-to-leave-India-ncgqKiebbbd.html?source=recommended_news

  16. Disclaimer in advance - Daas does not want to offend anyone with this post ,just humbly discussing what I have seen on many occassions. People usually have Akhand Path on two occassions - before a wedding and upon someone's Akaal chalana. On Both occassions (especially during weddings) while path is going on people are busy with their own affairs and hardly anyone is listening to the mechanical recitation of the pathis (who do it more as a job rather than with love / devotion) - pathis also doze off while reciting especially in the night hours When we bring SGGS home it is like - 6 Gurus and all other bhagats and bhats have come to your home to tell you how to live your life and be one with akaal purakh, but alas we find it too boring - isnt that a bedbi ? The other question is about the tradition itself - 72 hours of path is a very difficult undertaking - gurbani very strongly emphasizes "Sehaj" - meaning in order to attain parmatma we do not need to suffer - Änn na khaya swad gavaya , Vastra na pehre ahnis kehre Also mere recitaiton of Gurbani to me is like rinsing your mouth with this elixiir , when it was meant to be taken in and absorbed. Paaths held in grudwara are no better - things have gotten so bad in Brampton area that when you go to gurughar - the management people ask "tusi paath karauna hai ke keeta karay laina hai ". - What next Gurdwaras offering drive through Akhand path sevas ? I would like to order one akhand path and one ardaas for putar - that will be 800 $ ji . If we truely want we should start a sehaj path that might take 5-6 months before the wedding or after someone's demise and try to understand as much arth as we can.

  22. It is also our culture, we are killing our own daughters. Parents want that one golden child, a boy who will inherit the jameen. Many poor families can't deal with dowry, preferring a boy over a girl. If a boy is born ladoos are given out, for a girl there is nothing. Its something like 893women to 1000men in Punjab. 23. I'm half-serious as well. Lots of Panjabi families cherish their daughters. There's bad in amongst the good like most things in life.

  28. There is never anything scary about a shabad !! What does thst shabad actually mean to you ?? Do you feel scared asit gives the impression that it is directly speaking to you a 'manmukh' ?? If so, this should inspire not scare, so that one can start mending their ways to transform from Manmukh-to-Gurmukh !!

  29. I don't need to answer this question as it is a personal attack, but I don't have a jatha, unless you want to include me into Khalsa Panth. Currently there is Gurbani Veechar happening on this thread, http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?/topic/70336-bhagat-kabeers-shabad/ Let's do some Gurbani veechar together. Many times you come on threads yelling those that don't agree with me opinions or views are arrogant. So show us the way, i'm arrogant, so give us guidance. Where there is Gurbani Veechar taking place, you don't even by mistake come on those threads. If you do, then it's...........you are all arrogant, fanatics, taliban, extremist. Not to insult, but is there anything else you got virtues to add......lol First let's do some Gurbani Veechar on the above linked Shabad, then, we can go deeper into what Vaheguru's Kedh is. Go on to that thread and show everyone how I am trapping others. This thread is strictly on the video I posted and the question I posed. Don't you know how to follow rules of the forum. And this goes to rest of the poster who purposely started bringing up off topic views. This whole thread was developed to show others that Snatam Kaur does care about what others think about her and she is purposely miss leading non-Sikhs and Sikhs. In the past couple months there has been constant videos created of the 3HO organization and their true practices. Which included Snatam Kaur. These videos were created in and around the months of October 2012 to present time. These videos showed how Snatam Kaur was and is going against the core principles of being a Sikh. The videos show Snatam Kaur doing puja, doing Vaheguru simran in a concert as others dance and she is making money off it. If you look at the date when Snatam Kaur made her video of "I'm a Sikh" its dated Janaury 2013. Any person with a little bit of knowledge and able to understand logic can make the connection here. But, as usual, you are very ignorant of issues and have the inclination to always speak without thinking. Then come on the other thread where Gurbani Veechar is happening. That thread requires a person to do a lot of contemplating and research. Show us the way. I agree we know nothing, we are Satguru's children. But that doesn't mean to turn a blind eye to the person who is slandering your father and then on top of it, is making a profit off of the slander. I come on here for free and make no money. Yet i'm the person you target (since you think I'm being manipulative and arrogant) and not a huge organization that is purposely misleading non-Sikhs and Sikhs about Sikhi. Those that don't want to do anything for the Khalsa Panth. I have one benti, don't knock those down that have even a little bit of himmat to speak up for a just cause on Sikhi, whether the person be Muslim, Hindu, Christian, mona Sikh, a Keshdari Sikh, a patit Sikh or any other person or in the world Not to be insulting, but you my friend just don't know how internal enemies of the panth work. Some people are able to understand and some people just fail to understand for whatever reason. Your reason is that you don't spend time doing research and are lazy in doing research about Sikh related topics. Either spend time doing the research or just be silent on the issue. I'm not demanding you do this, but its a benti and nothing more.

  30. Don't worry as long as you take it as instructed. I would do an initial loading dose for a week and then a maintenance dose for another 6-8 weeks. Then take a break for about 2-3 weeks, Creatine is as harmful as anything else, so if you take it in cycles then less the side effects to your body. When you start doing the intensive training during 6-8 weeks then you would benefit from doing drop-down weight sets There are no toxic affects to your mind or anything else like drugs, so as a sikh there is no wrong or harm in taking them. I would also take the powdered form of drinks/shakes rather than tablet/capsules.

  36. There is nothing to get tripped out about, when you feel insecure about what you are experiencing it is because your false ego self is falling away and your true self is emerging from behind the veil. This is a natural process, people who panic about this can get themselves in a right mess. Do not be worried by this, when the illusion begins to break down your ego will be paniced, however spiritual knowledge and understanding is what you require to keep walking this path. Take time to sit and read through Gurbani and understand the Gurmat imparted by the Satguru, Jap Naam to still your mind and increase the peace within your heart. Your embarking on the start of a great journey, just remember that everything is Vaheguroo, and there is nothing to be scared of. The True Self is immortal and cannot be destroyed, keeping faith in this keep walking this sharp path. Guru Rakha!

  38. SSA All, I would like to ask u all SHOULD I SAY SORRY TO U ALL FOR THE THREAD I STARTED... ?? I started a thread - JUST A QUESTION TO ALL MALES in ANONYMOUS....!! When i started the thread i have written that i need ANSWER IN YES N NO - NO EXPLANATION- but people actually started explaning things.... Is it my fault? People started blaming me about the thread - this happened second time.. we are here to discuss things... When there a threads on Sexual things... y they are all not blocked... ?? If people come here to find solutions then y they are blammed for their own questions I have seen things happening.. I dont have facial hair such but i was left over by my sikh boyfriend after i took amirt... after talking to couple of more sikh guys i came to know the reality that they dont prefer amritdhari kudiya - aaj kal sikha de ghar sher ni gidad paida hunde ne.. (i m talking about max people not all - this i a real fact - experienced fact). When i took... Amrit.. i was happy to become daughter of Guru Gobind Singh g...!! but after knowing some of the facts ... i was suprised... like WHAT IS THIS ?? Somebody mentioned in that thread - Now to the topic starter, instead of coming on this forum and asking Singhs, as if they are superior, if they would accept a singhni with facial hair you should be proud of your facial hair and believe you need no Singh, and instead seek Guru Gobind Singh and Vaheguru. And stop worrying about public opinion and marriage so much. If you want to get married then ask Guru Sahib once in ardas to find you a Perfect Singh, a True Son of Vaheguru. I was just showing the reality to people... i am not worried about myself.. but just want to show to the sikh community... what their sons actually are..... i am strong enough to deal with life.. n dat was taught by my Gurus to me... i am not here to discuss personal matters as such... but this was a general thing i wanted to know.... If i still did mistake....Let me know... I WILL QUIT COMING HERE... i came here just to know sikhi more as per discussion u can make out conclusions... but if people dont like... will quit.... but will keep on questioning to people whom i meet.. 39. Depends on how you define the two yourself Bhen Ji. In the Oxford English Dictionary (because British English is the right one :biggrin2: ) it says: Definition of tolerate verb[with object] allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of (something that one dislikes or disagrees with) without interference: a regime unwilling to tolerate dissent accept or endure (someone or something unpleasant or disliked) with forbearance: how was it that she could tolerate such noise? One of the definitions of accept is: Definition of accept verb [with object] tolerate or submit to (something unpleasant or undesired): they accepted the need to cut overhead All the examples you've given are unjust situations and contain some sort of harm. Sikhi is the best example to use. Its similar to the example that ChuckSinghNorris Veer Ji gave. There were people of other religions around and Guru Sahib didnt necessarily agree with their religions but still accepted/tolerated them. If you accept and tolerate something it doesnt mean you agree with it. Now if you add some unjustness and harm to the scenario.......Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji didnt agree with what the Muslims were doing against the Hindus but thats not because they agreed with the Hindu faith.......you can see where im going with this.

  40. Wjkk Wjkf jeo Veer ji, its nice to hear you have got the pyaas in your heart to learn more about Dhan Dhan Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Let me say this before I even attempt to answer: I am not an expert at rehat, nor I am an expert at gurbani (perhaps never will) but still, this is what I do for sehaj paath on the computer (i have a pdf file but its pretty much the same thing i suppose): 1. Firstly, id suggest you delete any anti-gurmatt material on your disk. If you have any songs/pics etc, I would suggest you move them to some seperate disk if you wish to retain them, otherwise just get rid of such stuff. 2. Make sure your laptop/computer is nice and clean physically i mean, coz once you open Gurbani on it, according to me, it becomes a saroop and that needs to be taken into account. 3/ Before doing the path, kindly take a shower or if not possible, do a panj ishanaan (wash you hands/feet/face/brush etc). Basically, follow the same rehat as you would before/while doing your nitnem. Close as many windows on your computer as possible, close any instant messaging apps and the like, so that Guruji have the highest precedence. Keep your laptop/computer at a higher place than yourself, then start the paath. 4. About the ardaas, i think its the respect that matters more (which you have ), just recite the normal ardaas and say 'Dhan Dhan Guru Granth Sahib ji de ang. ___ de sehaj paath ji di ardaas hai ji', and bhull chukk di maafi as well because there are bound to be mistakes while doing Guru Granth Sahib ji's paath (i most certainly do!), and that may Waheguru ji give you more strength to recite shudh gurbani. 5. You can keep track of your progress by making simple notes in a notepad file and save it with an appropriate title, and at a place on ur disk where there is no 'clutter'. 6. According to my tucch buddhi, I think you should start with doing a manglacharan uchaaran before starting, and once you are done for the day, make sure you read the entire ang instead of leaving it in the middle. As i said, I am no expert, so please excuse if I have said something that is not appropriate! May Waheguru Ji bless you with all the happiness of the naam! Fateh ji!
