  1. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh One time a bibi who lived in Amritsar had a child who had contracted some long term illness. The mother took the child to hospital but despite several treatments the child failed to get better. Day and Night would be spent at her child's bedside - looking after its every need. One day she caught a glimpse of Sant Baba Shaam Singh Ji the beloved kirtani of Satguru Sri Guru Raam Das Ji Maharaj's house - Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib Ji. A thought came into her head as she saw him. He is a Sadhu, a Mahapursh, a Bhramgyani - if there is anyone who can make my child better its him. In this way she decided to go very early in the morning and leave her child on the street that Sant Baba Shaam Singh Ji would walk on as he made his way to Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. When Mahapursh was walking to Darbar Sahib at amritwela - he saw a child had been left by the side of the road. He picked up the child and carried it with him to Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. Whilst carrying the child he was singing the praises of Akaal Purakh. Santji began to see that the child he was holding was very lethargic and unwell. As a consequence he sprinkled water from the Amrit Sarovar and began to recite Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji. Eventually Santji after spending the day at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahibji Santji took the child back to Dharamsala Sri Guru Nanak Devji Dasan Das Shaam Singh. All along the child's mother had followed Santji and now she entered the Gurudwara Sahib. When she saw that her child was very alert and playful she fell at the feet of Sant Baba Sham Singhji. Santji realised she was the mother of the child and immediately said why are you thanking me? I have done nothing! Go to Teerath Raaj Maharaj Sri Amritsar Sahib - and thank Satguruji the king of kings, the saint of saints and the ocean of compassion. It is the house of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, it is their bani, their very form which has bestowed this kirpa on you and your child. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

  2. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/quebec-soccer-federation-suspended-over-turban-ban/article12466473/ Quebec Soccer Federation suspended over turban ban MONTREAL The Canadian Press Published Monday, Jun. 10 2013, 9:01 PM EDT Last updated Monday, Jun. 10 2013, 9:24 PM EDT The Canadian Soccer Association says it has suspended a provincial association over its refusal to let turban-wearing children play. The organization says it was forced to take action because the Quebec Soccer Federation showed no sign of overturning its decision to restrict turban-wearing Sikhs from the pitch. Quebecs federation says its concerned about safety and points out that the rules of the world governing body, FIFA, dont specifically allow turbans. Critics of the Quebec decision point out that FIFAs rules dont explicitly ban turbans, either. The Canadian association says it will lift the suspension once it has proof the Quebec federation has revoked the ban.

  3. If Khalistan will be formed it will be formed by 'Sant Khalsa'. Most of the so called wise Sikhs ( including the ones on this forum) are Bheikhi. Lift your jeevan high with Kehni and Karni and Guru Granth Sahib will grant its Khalsa Raaj they deserve.

  4. Sis, you need to attack this on two fronts: 1) Professional help --- not some random therapist from school but someone from your local health authority. If your parents are unwilling to help you (or even acknowledge your issues) then don't worry, but go to your GP and demand he puts you in touch with the correct person. You can't go on like this. 2) Light, basic jap of whatever bani you feel like you can do even when lying in bed or when you can barely think, i.e. "Waheguru, Waheguru" or Mool Mantar, etc. You have no idea how this will help you; you won't want to do it at first because it'll physically anger you to even think about it, but once you begin, day-by-day, you'll feel better. It won't be a flash of light from the heavens, but it'll be something gradual inside you that begins to improve. Re-awaken a bit of that Khalsa spirit and fight for yourself and your future, because it seems nobody else wants to do anything for you.

  6. How to sharpen your kirpan: {Watch in 720p/1080p) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ॥ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹਿ I've seen a lot of Sikhs wearing dull kirpans, some even have their kirpana welded to the miyan which defeats the purpose of wearing a kirpan. I made a short tutorial for the Sangat so everyone can easily sharpen their kirpana that are ready to use if you ever need to protect yourself in self defense or protect others from harms way. Here is a link to the sharpener I bought, it is perfect for the basic taksali kirpans, but I do not recommend using this for more expensive shastars due to the possibility of chipping. 1095 usually have a chance of shipping whereas spring steels like 5160 do not. Whatever it is, if you've paid a lot for your shastar, don't use this and instead get it sharpened with a belt or a water stone, but for basic kirpans this is perfect: Amazon link, current price 6.50: http://tinyurl.com/lbud6ey The main reason I made this tutorial is because of recent events such as London machete incident, ideally a Singh could have taken those atvaadi down and defended the soldier. It's almost beadbi to carry around a shastar that isn't sharp because you won't be able to use it for even a simple task of cutting a kela, let alone defending against a violent criminal out to harm you, your family or others. Please forward this video and 'like' it if you liked it. If you didn't or thought it could improve, please provide feedback.

  13. How is it a good thing that man from a party that thinks Sikhi is not a separate faith but an offshoot of Hinduism, becoming prime-minister a good thing? We already face a massive demographic decline as a community and the fact that we are no being recognised a unique entity in its own right is a disaster for us. Now add all the impostors, groups and "holy men" who are out to dilute Sikhi the problem becomes far greater. I hate the congress party with a passion and they by far have done the most damage to us but these BJP villains are not that far removed from their congress counterparts. It's high time Sikhs realise we can rely on NO ONE but ourselves. That also means we start to push for greater autonomy in India with help from our expat communities in the US, UK, Canada etc. As for the riots, the vast majority of the operations conducted against innocent Sikhs were done so by sell out so called "Sikhs" themselves and the leaders and rioters were middle class Hindus from areas such as mangolpuri, supporting the Congress party. Here are the scoundrels: Saijan Kumar , Lalit Maken , Shyam Tyagi, L Bhagat, Boop Tyagi, Balwan khokar, Lal Sharma, P.K. Tripathi, Arjan Dass, Mahender Yadav, Kishan Khokkar, Girdhari Lal ,Captain Bhagmal and Jagdish Tytler.

  14. I am NOT AGAINST Khalistan or Sant Bhindranwale. Why the hell are you making me out to be some sort of missonary? Where have I said anything about not wanting Khalistan or saying it was a bad idea? Never have I said arms shouldn't be kept in a gurdwara. Who put you in a position to judge and lead a witch hunt against people you consider missonarys and Uncle Toms? I do NOT care about India. And I know it has done wrong to many minorities and there is no justice. So I don't have this slave mentality you talk about. All I am saying is taht some of our leaders do not care about Sikhi, they just see a way to get money and status. If the mangement of gurdware can cause that much trouble, imagine how these people will react to a country. This is what I am trying to get at. Have a leader who will bring us together and stop fights.

  15. This is called "diplomacy" which I think is a must for this purpose....................but before getting the Khalistan, we need to have an honest and a fearless leader like Sant Ji who could run "raaj" peacefully and effectively........but on the other thought mahapurkhs like Sant ji can't be diplomatic because of their avastha (I might be wrong as 6th Guruji was running a raaj being a Saint).......so we need a leader like Maharaja Ranjit Singh who could be a Gursikh as well as diplomatic.....also we'll need more gursikhs to act as leaders to take care of the sub-duties.. aslo Khalistan will be formed when sikhs "kehni" and "karni" becomes Khaalas

  16. Op ji.......at the end of the day you have to deal with it.....whatever these hidings, starvations lead to....your body is being affected........one of my friend was at your situation, no support from family......24/7 hiding in her room, maybe just half a roti or no roti a day.....crying, badly hurt, increasing burden on herself.......only help available was Guru sahib....no sisters, no mom, no masi, no freind.........so you are not the only one..........she prayed to Guru sahib for help.....and Guru sahib did kirpa and she became adamant or say strong from inside, kept her unaffected by what others say as she realized nobody except Guru sahib cares and she should not waste her life for those who don't care.............nobody was talking to her in whole family......but she started coming out of her room, making her own meal and eating it, going out to gurdwara and family was surprised to see the change, it was a blow on their ego//how could she do that on her own...and couldn't take it and had to bow down...... you know jadon gheo sidhi ungli naal na nikle, tedhi karni paindi aa..........if nobody cares, then why do you care ( I know many members won't agree, but only he knows who suffers)...... just think tomorrow you get married and will have kids.....this hide and seek, self torture will affect your body and immune system.....you can have some complications later(rab na kare).....so think about that............yaar family can come back to you but your health loss won't.........so be prepared now so you don't have to regret these days........your happiness should't be dependent on anyone or family members...just on Guru sahib......you should be like..."mera ruse na kalgian wala, jag bhawein sara rus jaye" another thing just think of your achievements: 1. where was you 5 years ago? 2. where are you now? 3. where will you be 5 years after? So why wasting your precious life by this childish hide n seek for nobody? Your family members will start saying eventually "eh ta edan di hi aa",, but who's loosing....it's YOU

  19. Kudos to LegalSingh for countering what I can only class as the Uncle Toms on this forum. If you listen to the speeches of Sant Bhindranwale, he constantly gave example after example of why the Sikhs are slaves in India. This is prior to Bluestar, Woodrose, the genocide of Sikhs across India and the fake encounters of Sikh youth. Now what was the reason for him to do all this? It was because of the uncle toms among the Sikhs who would come up with a thousand and one excuses to explain away the discrimination the Sikhs suffered. Unfortunately for some people here, having a whole generation of Sikh youth murdered is not enough of a reason to want the future generations to be safe and secure in Khalistan. No is asking anyone to pick up an AK47 and go to India. All you need is to get rid of your slavish mentality and everything else will fall into place. Do you think that if the Sikhs of Punjab had the same josh as that which was displayed in London on Sunday that Badal would be in power today? The same slavish mentality on display here is what has kept the Punjab from having a decent leadership and for making progress to becoming Khalistan. The Sikhs of Punjab have at least got a excuse to have a slavish mentality. They have suffered a genocidal campaign from the India state. The young are brainwashed to think of themselves as Indians when they have nothing in common with people who live less than 300 miles away let along a 1000 miles away. The media constantly brands anyone who believes in Khalistan as a terrorism. YET I have come across many Sikhs from India online who though they have been through all the mass brainwashing, they still have come to the conclusion that Khalistan is a must for Sikhs. Compare those Sikhs who have refused to be brainwashed by both the educational system and the media with the Uncle Toms who have access to the most unbiased sources of what the Sikhs suffered and yet they come up with a thousand and one reasons for why Khalistan should not come about. But what excuse have the Neos and the fancy bananas on this forum have. Nations who have suffered 1/10th of what the Sikhs have suffered yet they still strive for independence. Nations that have not even suffered a massacre yet they still want to to be independence. Scotland gets from from the UK than they put in, yet a significant minority of the Scots want independence. Yet on here we have people who know full well that a generation of Sikhs was destroyed and the survivors are being turned into drug addicts. I could understand if after the massacres the Indian government had pumped money and investment into Punjab and turned Jalandhar into a Bangalore or Ludhiana into a NOIDA. But they didn't, not only did they murder our brothers, rape our sisters, they now want us to pay for the privilege! Punjab is saddled by debts going back to the movement days. No wonder the typical Indian consider the Sikhs as fools and only fit to be laughed at. If an Indian government official was to see what drivel some of the uncles Toms on here have written, he would think that the Sikhs don't care how we treat them, they will still remain fools and argue whether there should be a Khalistan or not. Do you think that if the situation heats up again the government wont use the same tactics as before given how many Uncle Toms still exist in our nation.

If its somethin else you should talk to a professional. You see choti penji we can only give you honsla on here, but god does rest. We dont know exactly what is happening with you and your family, and any advice would be harmful without the full details. You need to talk to a professional. Kado thak hide and seek khelugi? These are just guesses so sorry if i said wrong, but we can only give you moral support you understand that right? Sometimes desi elders say things and it hurts us. 23. You're saying the exact same things that Indian Hindus say when talking about Bhindranwala and the Golden Temple. You make the exact same mistakes as them through ignorance. Is it any wonder then you share this Indianess with them ? You mistake the Sikh religion with semetic and other religions. You mistake the concept of a serene place of worship in Christianity where arms are banned with the Sikh Gurdwara. As Sikhism has no concept of priesthood etc, the Sikh Gurdwara holds a different place among Sikhs. It is not sen as solely a place for serene quiet meditation but a focal point for the community to rally under. A place where historically arms and ammunition have had pride of place. In any Christian church up and down the country, in contrast, the only people you find are old ladies from the women's institute. Hardly the type liable to engage in fisticuffs lest their hips give way. So, ignoring the fact that police cars around the world have, over the last decade, been raiding church premises in their thousands due to endemic child molesting that took place withoin church premises, the local church off the High Street has cake making classes in their hall whilst the Gurdwara down the road is full of strong young boys and girls learning to wield the sword with deadly force in their gatka classes. One has people in it that are reserved, have a stiff upper lift, and are conditioned from an early age to not get animated and not speak with their hands and arms. The other place has people in it that speak in one of the world's rare tonal languages, where from the outside it seems like there's shouting going on, people that are naturally animated and expressive with their tone and manner. Snap out of the inferiority complex brother. Every single reason that you, and the other apologists for India, give here arguing aginst Khalistan, can just as easily be applied to 75% of the nations already in existence. When you want a reason badly enough you'll find it. And some of you here clearly want reasons.

  26. I hope religion and state are kept separated in khalistan just like how it was maharaja ranjit singh time, if its not i cannot be arsed....cannot stand tribal fascists hijacking the concept and flaunting rehitnamas and dictating their sharia sikhi on people's throat and passing fatwas for someone wearing red and intimidating others. Call me cynical but let those staunch advocates of khalistan buy a island as pilot project and show us how things are run, i bet you once the dust settles they will probably would have knocked each other dastara over small technical nitty grity difference of opinions. I do support khalistan but not those extreme ideas/policies behind khalistan.

  28. You know what veer ? Today was like an epiphany moment for me. It is foolish to try and understand Waheguru's will but today I think I did. For example, often I used to wonder why in our history we had suffered so much.....What if Aurungzeb was never born etc. But the truth is that if Aurungzeb was never born or we never went through so much suffering, Sikhi as we know it would not have come into being. Our character, and the message that shines through, could only have come into being because of the suffering. Same with the suffering since 1984. I used to keep asking myself what Waheguru's plan was when, for the last 30 years, nobody was paying any attention to our pain. But today, on seeing and hearing the new young generation, I felt I understood Waheguru's will. You saw for yourself today how there is a new very young generation of UK born Sikhs, many of whom who are moneh, with intense Khalistani pride, an intense desire for justice, and a fantastic realisation of how to get it done. This new generation of very young Sikhs is simply awesome. To get to this stage we had to go throiugh 30 years of pain. There was no other way. His plan is masterful. I mean just look what we had today. The most inspirational - motivational speeches came from little youngsters. We had people shouting Khalistan Zindabad that would never have done so a year or two ago....and they did it with so much passion. We had white English speakers such as members of parliament openly mentioning the word Khalistan, saying how important it was if we desired justice. I truly sensed today that the wind of change is here. I truly believe that the little Sikhs today are gonna achieve something that neither we nor our parents could. They really are awesome.

  37. Martial Arts - Combat - Self Defence Classes: Classes are held on Saturdays in South London, Hayes and Coventry. Central London (London Bridge) classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (separate for Men and Women). The Guru has ordained that his Khalsa learns the art of fighting. Singhs today have lost their fearsome reputation as 'Men of Action'. Are you ready to step up and develop Teeth and Claws which makes a Lion/Lioness true to their form? Develop the skills and confidence to defend yourself, your family and your Panth... For those NOT already learning a fighting art (our aim is not to poach or compete with others), if you have the following characteristics, you are invited to learn from the School of Elusive Fighting: Humility Politeness and respect (towards people, all faiths and all jathebandiyan/sampryada) Dedication Passion Open Mindedness Courage Hard Work Ethic Discipline DISCRETION We teach armed and unarmed fighting based on principles derived from various traditional/family fighting systems of South East Asia (predominantly, but not only, Filipino and Chinese). The Sword, Stick/Salotar, Knife are the basic weapons students learn (we move on many variations of these i.e. the fighting tabbar/axe). We also teach use of the Kara based on the same principles. The principles to use each or a combination of the above are one and the same, in essence, the art is very simple, the devil lies in the detail. Footwork, evasion, positioning, fast take downs, multiple opponent strategy and internal power generation are the core principles of the art. Street psychology and awareness and the practice of street scenario applications is also an important aspect. You will also learn old school traditional fighting exercises to develop fighting energy, fighting flexibility and fighting movement. We specialise in escapes from grabs and hold ups, so this art is highly suitable for bibiyan/females. The art does not rely on the training of strength and speed, but more so, body mechanics and timing. The classes are kept small and operate as family environments, so full respect for all students is assured. No type of bad behaviour is tolerated. If you are DEADLY SERIOUS and interested in learning, then drop us an email on elusivefighting@gmail.com please do not post any questions here. Please do not contact us ‘out of interest’. We are only interested in speaking to those who are ‘ready’ to commit and learn. Commitment of 1 class a week is required. This means making the class your priority, and re-arranging other social and work issues. This is not a 'MA tick box' or Hobbyist class. It is for serious students only, who wan to invest in a martial inheritance and pass it on to the next generation. Classes are held on Saturdays in South London, Hayes and Coventry. Central London (London Bridge) classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (separate for Men and Women). There is no modern teaching structure i.e. belt/grading system, nor are there any competitions (this is not a sport). Classes are taught using old school methods, very relaxed yet focused atmosphere, and learning is organic (natural). Progress is purely dependant on the students practice. The Teachers aim is not to keep paying students for 20 years, but to teach as quick as the student learns (with quality). We are not affiliated to any cults, MA school/society, controversial personalities/charities or jathebandi. Contact elusivefighting@gmail.com in the 1st instance. Dhanvaad. This is the battle of life, the Dharam Yudh for which we should always be prepared. Only those who succeed in their own battle (life), can fight other battles of Dharma, physically (external) and mentally (internal) and attain temporal and spiritual glory. Only such a soul has the right to wear and handle the sword of Guru Gobind Singh, and become his Holy Soldier, the Khalsa. None else, none else.” ~ Guru Gobind Singh ~

  43. SGPC revenue per year and use that revenue to invest money to make more money ...I think to say SGPC worth multi million is understatement....that's why youths need to infiltrate (in a positive way) in SGPC and start taking baby steps upwards..!!..Roman Umpire wasn't built in one day or over night..takes time..!!
