  1. Its true that Sikhs are not united today. Guess what, we were never 100% united. If you read up on history, you'll see that back in the days there were Singhs from different misls who used have minor clashes frequently over one issue or the other. However, when an outside enemy targeted Sikhs on the whole, all these misls would shed all their animosity and minor differences and then unite against the common enemy. This has happened over and over in our history and we can do it again. Sikh Raj has been there twice, that also can come again provided we have the same kind of leaders. Nothing is impossible. The Mughals and British were seen as invincible (for centuries actually), yet both got their own share of thrashing from the Singhs. Those who rule Hindustan today are the ones who were enslaved for a 1000 years, and haven't even seen a platinum jubilee yet, so there is nothing to worry about.

  2. Modi may be a viable candidate for PM position next year, but there are some key factors to be kept in mind here which I think will serve as thorns in his path..... He has blood of innocent Muslims on his hands no matter what he says. He has been refused visa to USA and UK due to this, which means it will be a matter of shame for India on a global scale if such a butcher becomes head of state. The BJP is not stupid enough to actually put him in the PM position as they know the outcome. India will become Enemy Number 1 for all Islamic countries overnight, starting with immediate neighbors Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This will only hike up a new series of terror attacks in India by the Jihadi junk-heads. The BJP is well aware of this. Advani has already started moaning about Modi becoming the next PM. He even resigned from all positions in BJP earlier this week but the BJP leadership refused to accept his resignation. Mark my words, this is a very cunning ploy by BJP to sideline Modi (thanks to his past) and have someone else (with a comparatively cleaner track record than Modi) come forward as a viable PM candidate. Again this is something that will work against Modi and his dream to be PM. BJP will do anything at this point to cleanse their reputation and come clean in front of the Congress. Their senior leaders attended the foundation stone laying ceremony at Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib for the victims of Nov. '84. Are we stupid enough to believe that they care about Sikhs? No ladies and gentlemen, they're doing it to cleanse their Gujarat 2002 image and permanently scar the image of the eternally diabolical Congress in the eyes of the world. I could be totally wrong, and Modi could very well become the next PM of India. But he will always be answerable for Gujarat 2002, and it will be a shameful day for all Indians if they elect him as their next PM.

  3. Educating the youth on Sikhi, overcoming the Drugs epidemic in Punjab, getting rid of caste system, spreading the message of Guru Nanak to those Indian communities that have suffered so much because of the caste system, electing better leaders, educating Indians of all backgrounds on sikhs issues, telling them about what Bhindranwale actually stood for, educating them on 1984 Genocide and educating them on the atrocities central government committed in Punjab are just some of the issues we need to focus on instead of Khalistan. And the reason why we need to focus on the above listed issues is that it'll create a foundation for Sikhs in the future to work with where they can force the central government to listen to Sikhs just due to the sheer number of supporters asking for things such as equal rights, justice for 84 genocide victims and general issues related to whole of Punjab. Look how central government enacted different laws when protesters shut down Delhi over the Delhi bus gang rape victim. And look at how many global news agencies picked it up. Now imagine that kind of a protest all over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Mumbai etc etc by Sikhs demanding equal rights.. That's what we need to aim for instead of spending our resources and time on Khalistan (which right now is far more unrealistic thing to achieve than the above listed things).

  6. This is very very very good topic..i really appreciate penji starting it. For regular people like us- we need to strive for sant jeevan then afterwards after parpati then sipahi..for regular people like us its not possible to become gurmat version of sipahi until we live and breath life of saint which is - naam, bani, having sant attributes - sat, santokh, dya, gyan, sam dristhi(one non dual vision for whole creation) and sant also have killed- kaam, krodh, lob, moh, ahankar... because sant attributes are the ones who would control sikh sipahi aspect. Gurmat does not parvan or accept sipahi aspect alone of an individual but accepts sipahi aspect properly controlled by sant aspect..Hence sant is written first and sipahi..sant-sipahi. Even sant jarnail singh bhindranwale became sant first, if we look at 20 years of his early life of bhagti, naam, sam dristhi, sat, santokh, dya, gyan..and these are usually ignored by historians..he became sant first than sipahi, youths only known his sipahi aspect not sant nor they have any desire to learn about sant aspect of sant sipahi.. In fact its quite boring for them if someone is talking about sant aspect as sipahi aspect they find it sipahi machoism (super hereos- iron man, super man type of fantasy) very appealing because its easy and it sells as things which are appealing and exciting to our gyan inderas (visionary sensors) are followed besides its easy to be sipahi than sant and thats the reason we are in dandi kalah, especially sikh youths aboard..there are all hard core sipahis because its cool to them..people need to wake up and realize this is real life sikhi which changes demon to saint, crow to param hans and this is not your dream fantasy world of super heroes ..!!

  9. My angle of looking at this is from Satkar of Bani. A Sikh does full Satkar of Bani because Bani is mother of a Sikh. If a person does a tattoo on their hand or fore arm of a Tukh from Bani and say if that person is eating, with that jhootay hands they will accidently touch the Gurbani Tuk. Or say if that person urinates and some drops of the urine accidently end up touching the tattoo, that is the worst beadbi a person can do. Most Sikhs who have Gurbani tattoos, out of ignorance think they are some how showing their pride in their religion. They don't realise the best way is not tattoos, but by following Hukams of Guru Jee.

  10. ^^ totally agree.........Sant ji had a very tough and hard bhagti jeewan before coming out in the light as sipahi. Giani Thakur Singh ji (was very close to Sant ji) had thrown some light on Sant ji's jeewan in one of his interview, will try to find and post it here. No one can become sipahi without being a sant (meaning saintly virtues) Another thing we can see is Guru Nanak Sahib (akal purkh HIMSELF) started as a saint and ......the saintly aspect was fully incorporated by the time of Guru arjan Dev ji...and Guru HarGobind Singh Sahib ji then introduced the sipahi aspect and Guru Gobind Singh ji brought the sipahi aspect in it's full sense and then combining the both........this sequence shows the saintly virtues coming first to make souls pure or "khaalas" and then they got the shakti of being a sipahi.....(turning into khaalsa) first Khaalas and then khalsa All shaheeds like Baba Deep singh ji etc had immense bhagti before they came out as sipahis........ (bhul chuk maaf......sorry for being off topic) Coming into Politics......one would have saintly virtues and then become sipahi.....but then his bachans will become true sute-sidh........and they have to think twice before uttering anything,,,,,,coz their bachans won't go empty.....and in this profession they have to talk a lot....

  13. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/quebec-soccer-federation-suspended-over-turban-ban/article12466473/ Quebec Soccer Federation suspended over turban ban MONTREAL The Canadian Press Published Monday, Jun. 10 2013, 9:01 PM EDT Last updated Monday, Jun. 10 2013, 9:24 PM EDT The Canadian Soccer Association says it has suspended a provincial association over its refusal to let turban-wearing children play. The organization says it was forced to take action because the Quebec Soccer Federation showed no sign of overturning its decision to restrict turban-wearing Sikhs from the pitch. Quebecs federation says its concerned about safety and points out that the rules of the world governing body, FIFA, dont specifically allow turbans. Critics of the Quebec decision point out that FIFAs rules dont explicitly ban turbans, either. The Canadian association says it will lift the suspension once it has proof the Quebec federation has revoked the ban.

In India it is time of regional parties to call shots. You can have death of federalism in the next decade or so.

  15. Gurvah, You remind of the dummies I have met who's first answer to why there shouldn't be a Khalistan is that 'Pakistan will invade and annex it'. When's the last time a country has invaded another and annexed it? These people and you have one thing in common and that is a closed mind and an unwillingness to do research to find out whether your reasons against Khalistan have any merit. I suppose you are aware that international conventions exist which allow land locked countries THE RIGHT to access the sea through transit states by all means of transport. Do you also know that commercial airlines also have a similar right to overfly over different countries. But you already knew that because you've done all the research before coming on here haven't you? Most people who want freedom for their nation usually get emotional. Did I write that someone is going to give us Khalistan on a platter? if not then why did you write that? Khalistan will only come about when the majority of Sikhs in Punjab want it, I would have thought 99.9999% of people in the world don't have the necessary skills to administer a country. So what's your point? Here's the vicious circle that people like you do not understand India treats Punjab like a colony and strips its natural resources... Sikhs in Punjab demand Khalistan.. Govt murders an entire generation and turn the rest into drug addicts.. fools on internet claim 'how can you have Khalistan when the Punjab is a mess' If you don't even know about the atrocities or disregard them because of the above then you need to look at yourself and not point fingers at others.

  18. The Guru has ordained that his Khalsa learns the art of fighting. Singhs today have lost their fearsome reputation as 'Men of Action'. Are you ready to step up and develop Teeth and Claws which makes a Lion/Lioness true to their form? Develop the skills and confidence to defend yourself, your family and your Panth... For those NOT already learning a fighting art (our aim is not to poach or compete with others), if you have the following characteristics, you are invited to learn from the School of Elusive Fighting: Humility Politeness and respect (towards people, all faiths and all jathebandiyan/sampryada) Dedication Passion Open Mindedness Courage Hard Work Ethic Discipline DISCRETION We teach armed and unarmed fighting based on principles derived from various traditional/family fighting systems of South East Asia (predominantly, but not only, Filipino and Chinese). The Sword, Stick/Salotar, Knife are the basic weapons students learn (we move on many variations of these i.e. the fighting tabbar/axe). We also teach use of the Kara based on the same principles. The principles to use each or a combination of the above are one and the same, in essence, the art is very simple, the devil lies in the detail. Footwork, evasion, positioning, fast take downs, multiple opponent strategy and internal power generation are the core principles of the art. Street psychology and awareness and the practice of street scenario applications is also an important aspect. You will also learn old school traditional fighting exercises to develop fighting energy, fighting flexibility and fighting movement. We specialise in escapes from grabs and hold ups, so this art is highly suitable for bibiyan/females. The art does not rely on the training of strength and speed, but more so, body mechanics and timing. The classes are kept small and operate as family environments, so full respect for all students is assured. No type of bad behaviour is tolerated. If you are DEADLY SERIOUS and interested in learning, then drop us an email on elusivefighting@gmail.com please do not post any questions here. Please do not contact us ‘out of interest’. We are only interested in speaking to those who are ‘ready’ to commit and learn. Commitment of 1 class a week is required. This means making the class your priority, and re-arranging other social and work issues. This is not a 'MA tick box' or Hobbyist class. It is for serious students only, who wan to invest in a martial inheritance and pass it on to the next generation. Classes are held on Saturdays in South London, Hayes and Coventry. Central London (London Bridge) classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (separate for Men and Women). There is no modern teaching structure i.e. belt/grading system, nor are there any competitions (this is not a sport). Classes are taught using old school methods, very relaxed yet focused atmosphere, and learning is organic (natural). Progress is purely dependant on the students practice. The Teachers aim is not to keep paying students for 20 years, but to teach as quick as the student learns (with quality). We are not affiliated to any cults, MA school/society, controversial personalities/charities or jathebandi. Contact elusivefighting@gmail.com in the 1st instance. Dhanvaad. This is the battle of life, the Dharam Yudh for which we should always be prepared. Only those who succeed in their own battle (life), can fight other battles of Dharma, physically (external) and mentally (internal) and attain temporal and spiritual glory. Only such a soul has the right to wear and handle the sword of Guru Gobind Singh, and become his Holy Soldier, the Khalsa. None else, none else.” ~ Guru Gobind Singh ~

  21. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh One time a bibi who lived in Amritsar had a child who had contracted some long term illness. The mother took the child to hospital but despite several treatments the child failed to get better. Day and Night would be spent at her child's bedside - looking after its every need. One day she caught a glimpse of Sant Baba Shaam Singh Ji the beloved kirtani of Satguru Sri Guru Raam Das Ji Maharaj's house - Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib Ji. A thought came into her head as she saw him. He is a Sadhu, a Mahapursh, a Bhramgyani - if there is anyone who can make my child better its him. In this way she decided to go very early in the morning and leave her child on the street that Sant Baba Shaam Singh Ji would walk on as he made his way to Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. When Mahapursh was walking to Darbar Sahib at amritwela - he saw a child had been left by the side of the road. He picked up the child and carried it with him to Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. Whilst carrying the child he was singing the praises of Akaal Purakh. Santji began to see that the child he was holding was very lethargic and unwell. As a consequence he sprinkled water from the Amrit Sarovar and began to recite Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji. Eventually Santji after spending the day at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahibji Santji took the child back to Dharamsala Sri Guru Nanak Devji Dasan Das Shaam Singh. All along the child's mother had followed Santji and now she entered the Gurudwara Sahib. When she saw that her child was very alert and playful she fell at the feet of Sant Baba Sham Singhji. Santji realised she was the mother of the child and immediately said why are you thanking me? I have done nothing! Go to Teerath Raaj Maharaj Sri Amritsar Sahib - and thank Satguruji the king of kings, the saint of saints and the ocean of compassion. It is the house of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, it is their bani, their very form which has bestowed this kirpa on you and your child. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

  23. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa !!Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh !! Waheguru Ji - a sort sakhi One day Guru Gobind Singh Ji maharaj asked for his horse which was duly brought from the stables. The Sikhs gathered around as Guru Ji checked the horse. Guru Ji grabbed the reigns of the hose ready to mount. Guru Ji said "Can any Sikh recite Guru Granth Sahib Ji before I sit on the horse?" The Sikhs looked around in puzzlement, how can you recite the whole of Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the time it takes to get up and sit on a horse. Guru Ji put his charan on the stirrup and was ready to mount the horse "Can anyone recite Guru Granth Sahib Ji before I get up and sit on Neela?" One Sikh stepped forward, with folded hands he said "Sahib Ji with your grace I will try" As Guru Ji mounted the horse the Sikh said "Ek-oan-kaar" and Guru Ji sat on the horse. Sahib Ji was very pleased and blessed the Singh. "You have understood the essence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji," the whole of the granth is an expansion of this fundemental Sikh concept. 24. How to sharpen your kirpan: {Watch in 720p/1080p) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ॥ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਹਿ I've seen a lot of Sikhs wearing dull kirpans, some even have their kirpana welded to the miyan which defeats the purpose of wearing a kirpan. I made a short tutorial for the Sangat so everyone can easily sharpen their kirpana that are ready to use if you ever need to protect yourself in self defense or protect others from harms way. Here is a link to the sharpener I bought, it is perfect for the basic taksali kirpans, but I do not recommend using this for more expensive shastars due to the possibility of chipping. 1095 usually have a chance of shipping whereas spring steels like 5160 do not. Whatever it is, if you've paid a lot for your shastar, don't use this and instead get it sharpened with a belt or a water stone, but for basic kirpans this is perfect: Amazon link, current price 6.50: http://tinyurl.com/lbud6ey The main reason I made this tutorial is because of recent events such as London machete incident, ideally a Singh could have taken those atvaadi down and defended the soldier. It's almost beadbi to carry around a shastar that isn't sharp because you won't be able to use it for even a simple task of cutting a kela, let alone defending against a violent criminal out to harm you, your family or others. Please forward this video and 'like' it if you liked it. If you didn't or thought it could improve, please provide feedback.

  26. The sargun nature of God is known and fairly familiar to everyone because people are used to experiencing and perceiving the world (waheguru) but one to know the nirgun nature is what make one realised of God hence bhagat (be it through the gyan or bhagat side). So a bhagat needs to know both nirgun(you can not know nirgun you can only be nirgun) and sargun aspects (even though you cannot know all of them but you can experience millions of them in your lifetime) of whaeguru. Also you can't choose the hukam of akal purakh that makes one distinguish between fish and sea or if akal purakh chooses in that moment of time cause the perception of no fish or see its all in his hukam. Neither is lower or higher sargun and nirgun is one and the same. But to say we have choice to enjoy waheguru's sargun perception or at times switch to nirgun perception is incorrect it happens automatically before 'you' can even consciously perceive this.

  27. Haan ji what you saying its true from gyan aspect but from bhagti aspect there is always distinction like fish (sikh/bhagat) in ocean (sri guru nanak dev nirankar), depends on person perception, if someone wants to live like a fish in ocean (sri guru nanak dev nirankar) thats beautiful too..sikhi path is beautiful both bhagti and gyan are blended with each other..sometimes while living in this body we play and enjoy as fish (sikh) bhagat in a ocean (sri guru nanak dev ji), sometimes there is no fish there is no ocean- nirgun akaal moorat sat chit anand saroop...everything is sewned in together in sikhi there is no duality just pure advait - sargun nirgun nirankar sun samadhi aap, apan kiya nanaka apa fer jaap ||

  29. Singh I listen to 12 hours of katha daily now and whilst listening i take notes of times of recordings, which recordings and subjects. As soon as the family fall asleep i get to work editing cleaning and compressing files so its easy for sangat to download and listen with the use of minimal bandwith plus give them something to listen to on their phones when walking to the shops or on the bus to work, etc. It does not matter about the work or time it takes as long as it enhances everyones views and we can bring the level of sikhi and discussion back to the 2004 - 2005 sikhawareness days where everything was so deep rather then argueing with our fellow brothers and sisters, Hopefully we will be able to take about avasthas, chakras, anahad shabad, raag naad, vidiya, budhi, antreev arths, etc through small concise snippits of katha based purely on Gurbani.

  33. Yes Tattoos are a grey area. However if we bring this debate to its basics, without beating around the bush.... It doesn’t matter where or how Gurbani is written, it should be given the utmost respect. I'm not pointing the finger at Bajwa, but I guess she is representing Sikhs when she is on screen, and especially now that she has Bani on her arm. Again, this applies to everyone who has Bani tattooed to them. If you can give it the utmost respect then fine, otherwise leave well alone. Just a note on how much satkaar is given to not just Gurbani, but Gurmukhi. In some katha I heard, Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji along with some other Singh’s heard another Gursikh meditating and reciting the Gurmukhi alphabet in the early hours of the morning. When the Singhs asked Sant Ji why, he replied "Gurmukhi, is just that.... It is from the mouth of the Guru, and some people have that much respect for it, they obtain raas just by repeating Gurmukhi".

  37. Who we are is immortal - we are the entire manifest and at the same time the non manifest. In gurbani this is known as sargun and nirgun. So to answer how we look like you can say aspects of our 'body' consists of the entire universe. The stars, oceans, land, people, animals (basically anything perceivable or conceivable) etc are parts of our sargun 'body' but our nirgun body cannot be described because here the perceiver known as 'I' disappears hence if there is no one left then the nirgun can never be described. In your questions you imply that the body is us but yet this is not incorrect however it is only a small aspect of what we are as I have written above. When you die what will happen is similar to what happens when you sleep at night. When death occurs there may be pain or not but you will lose consciousness and with this all your memories, thoughts, mind and emotions will disappear - there will be no you hence the question of will there be a waiting room is invalid as the individual/ego gets destroyed at death so how can you wait in a room... I(mind) have tried to trace how long this perceivable disappearance lasts for but it is impossible to state as my true self (nirgun) is beyond time therefore my mind can not pinpoint a time as time itself is not linear. Anyway since I have stated above what then happens is that our nirgun, which is always sargun as well seems to project (according to the mind as mind sees events in a linear way) a new world where the ego is born again. This cycle occurs again and again and always has been. So answering your question what ever physical body the ego takes it will appear that we are it and 'we' are feeling through our physical body. There is no certain judgement day the laws of cause and effect are always in play this is judgement in a way for the ego - getting rich, fame or on the other hand being murdered, getting raped is one's 'judgement day'.

  38. I'm pretty sure she'd have no qualms in removing hair so that she could have the tattoo done as she already does beadbi of kesh elsewhere on her body (head, face etc). ਜਉ ਤਉ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਖੇਲਣ ਕਾ ਚਾਉ ॥ If you desire to play this game of love with Me, ਸਿਰੁ ਧਰਿ ਤਲੀ ਗਲੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਉ ॥ Then step onto My Path with your head in hand. If she had even attempted to understand this pankti on a basic level she would know that this 'game of love' (the path of Gursikhi) requires surrendering your mind, body and soul to Guru Ji. By doing so you accept that nothing is yours and everything belongs to Guru Ji and you keep your body and kesh intact and that involves no tattoos or piercings or other body modification and no beadbi of kesh. You take khande bhatte da Amrit and don the 5 kakkars- that includes a real kirpan and not just an image of one on your forearm, as after all what practical purpose does that serve? If you want a reminder to stay strong in your faith and incorporate as much bani, bana, seva and simran into you life as possible then just keep one visual reminder at the forefront of your mind- a reminder of the countless number of shaheeds in our history, all the sacrifices that our Gurus and their Sikhs made for us. Remember those who were scalped alive, sawn in half, boiled alive and cut piece by piece and still refused to give up kesh, their Sikhi and their love for their Guru. Also, the problem with dismissing her tattoo as a trivial issue is the fact that as an actress she has quite a large following inside and outside of India and I'm sure plenty of people, and especially young Panjabi girls, may look up to her as a role model. What's to stop them following in her footsteps and thinking it's okay to have a tattoo like this? Older Gursikhs may have an Ik Onkar on their hands but two wrongs never make a right. And when someone like Neeru Bajwa is in the limelight and forever prancing around on screen with Harbhajan Mann in an endless stream of movies then you have certain moral duties to uphold as I'm sure she has a massive number of impressionable, young fans who may already have doubts about their fath, religion and identity and I think she is sending the wrong message across.

Reading some of the responses here it is very clear the Indian government has been very successful in destroying us not only physically but mentally as well. To those individuals such as guruvah - one time a Singh called Ajmer Singh came to Sant Jarnail Singh Ji and asked will we be victorious? Santji looked at him and said before asking me this question remove Singh from your name. How can any son of Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj ask such a question? We belong to the king of this world and the next - of course we will be victorious! The only question is when. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

  42. This is the same thing that people told Sikhs before Maharajah Ranjit Singh came to power (i.e., Sikhs will never rule). At that time Sikhs were not only fighting Moghuls, but there was lot of fighting between Sikhs. However, Sikhs did come to power and produced a kingdom that was (and still is) model for rest of the world. Sikhs are one of the most intelligent community why you think they will not be able to rule. In fact, people keep on complaining about Sikh gurdwaras and how they are run; they are probably run better than most churches or temples (think about all the child abuse). Did you see the recent protest march taken out by Sikhs? Yes, we have our problems, but so does everybody else, and we are known to overcome most problems. Sikhs are one of the most prosperous community, but according to your convoluted thinking we cannot produce a prosperous country. Of course, we don’t expect anything from Sikhs with slave mentalities!

  43. I use to stand in my garden in the evenings for many years as a child (during the summer holidays), and I use to look up to the heavens, arms outstretched, and I begged for aliens to come and abduct me so I could see another world. You know what?............ They never came. :giggle:

  45. Kudos to LegalSingh for countering what I can only class as the Uncle Toms on this forum. If you listen to the speeches of Sant Bhindranwale, he constantly gave example after example of why the Sikhs are slaves in India. This is prior to Bluestar, Woodrose, the genocide of Sikhs across India and the fake encounters of Sikh youth. Now what was the reason for him to do all this? It was because of the uncle toms among the Sikhs who would come up with a thousand and one excuses to explain away the discrimination the Sikhs suffered. Unfortunately for some people here, having a whole generation of Sikh youth murdered is not enough of a reason to want the future generations to be safe and secure in Khalistan. No is asking anyone to pick up an AK47 and go to India. All you need is to get rid of your slavish mentality and everything else will fall into place. Do you think that if the Sikhs of Punjab had the same josh as that which was displayed in London on Sunday that Badal would be in power today? The same slavish mentality on display here is what has kept the Punjab from having a decent leadership and for making progress to becoming Khalistan. The Sikhs of Punjab have at least got a excuse to have a slavish mentality. They have suffered a genocidal campaign from the India state. The young are brainwashed to think of themselves as Indians when they have nothing in common with people who live less than 300 miles away let along a 1000 miles away. The media constantly brands anyone who believes in Khalistan as a terrorism. YET I have come across many Sikhs from India online who though they have been through all the mass brainwashing, they still have come to the conclusion that Khalistan is a must for Sikhs. Compare those Sikhs who have refused to be brainwashed by both the educational system and the media with the Uncle Toms who have access to the most unbiased sources of what the Sikhs suffered and yet they come up with a thousand and one reasons for why Khalistan should not come about. But what excuse have the Neos and the fancy bananas on this forum have. Nations who have suffered 1/10th of what the Sikhs have suffered yet they still strive for independence. Nations that have not even suffered a massacre yet they still want to to be independence. Scotland gets from from the UK than they put in, yet a significant minority of the Scots want independence. Yet on here we have people who know full well that a generation of Sikhs was destroyed and the survivors are being turned into drug addicts. I could understand if after the massacres the Indian government had pumped money and investment into Punjab and turned Jalandhar into a Bangalore or Ludhiana into a NOIDA. But they didn't, not only did they murder our brothers, rape our sisters, they now want us to pay for the privilege! Punjab is saddled by debts going back to the movement days. No wonder the typical Indian consider the Sikhs as fools and only fit to be laughed at. If an Indian government official was to see what drivel some of the uncles Toms on here have written, he would think that the Sikhs don't care how we treat them, they will still remain fools and argue whether there should be a Khalistan or not. Do you think that if the situation heats up again the government wont use the same tactics as before given how many Uncle Toms still exist in our nation.

  46. You're saying the exact same things that Indian Hindus say when talking about Bhindranwala and the Golden Temple. You make the exact same mistakes as them through ignorance. Is it any wonder then you share this Indianess with them ? You mistake the Sikh religion with semetic and other religions. You mistake the concept of a serene place of worship in Christianity where arms are banned with the Sikh Gurdwara. As Sikhism has no concept of priesthood etc, the Sikh Gurdwara holds a different place among Sikhs. It is not sen as solely a place for serene quiet meditation but a focal point for the community to rally under. A place where historically arms and ammunition have had pride of place. In any Christian church up and down the country, in contrast, the only people you find are old ladies from the women's institute. Hardly the type liable to engage in fisticuffs lest their hips give way. So, ignoring the fact that police cars around the world have, over the last decade, been raiding church premises in their thousands due to endemic child molesting that took place withoin church premises, the local church off the High Street has cake making classes in their hall whilst the Gurdwara down the road is full of strong young boys and girls learning to wield the sword with deadly force in their gatka classes. One has people in it that are reserved, have a stiff upper lift, and are conditioned from an early age to not get animated and not speak with their hands and arms. The other place has people in it that speak in one of the world's rare tonal languages, where from the outside it seems like there's shouting going on, people that are naturally animated and expressive with their tone and manner. Snap out of the inferiority complex brother. Every single reason that you, and the other apologists for India, give here arguing aginst Khalistan, can just as easily be applied to 75% of the nations already in existence. When you want a reason badly enough you'll find it. And some of you here clearly want reasons.
