Just to point out Why do you think there has been no coverage of London rallies for 30 years? Why has the petition for 84 to be classified as genocide thrown out? Why did the Brar attackers get such long sentences? Also anyone remember the chile's general Pinoochet incident some years ago where I believe he was put on trial as a war criminal I think there was a huge scandal back then condemning the role of thatcher played in supporting him. * General brar needs to be tried as a war criminal and other indian army generals and soldiers they all played a part in one of the darkest unforgivable chapters in Sikh history. * We need the people who were jailed for attacking brar on the streets of london released asap as they were taking out a known war criminal. The British took away sovereignty from the Sikhs and put in their agents in place prior 1947 so that india become a union of states in which they could rule by proxy with the use of corrupt murderous indian politicians. The British govt has a duty and responsibility in giving that sovereignty back as all peaceful legitimate demands for Khalistan were met with state subversion, violence and suppression by the Indian authorities which to this day do not allow people to voice their free demand for Khalistan as we have seen in recent cases.

In any organisation - we have C-Level Execs followed by Head of Business Units, followed by Directors, followed by specific Programme/Delivery Managers, followed by a Project Managers, followed by individual Project Leads, followed by individual developers/testers. He has been given an impression that he has been the most important person of the whole project, and he is the CEO, and that's what his naive statements put up - "All operation was done by Indian Army without any assistance from British intelligence". One should ask this fool - Who will ask British intelligence/army on the day of operation, will British/American army come to India to carry out these operations? Another problem with Mr. Brar is - Since he is probably the only person living till date, who took part in this operation from Indian Govt. team, and Indian Govt. provides him Z-level security, he considers it as a duty to salute/"JEE-HAZOORI" on each and every such matter, even if he has or not any knowledge about the relevant subject matter. This also gives Mr. Brar an added importance which he thinks is making him a hero, and he has done the most heroic action of his life, by publicily appearing on media for comments on any such subject matter and issuing any statement without even understanding the subject matter, An .example is his current statements and the fact that the subject being discussed is about some letters published in the month of Feb, 84; whereas he came to the picture only in Jun'84. Indian media - They know the above mentioned weakness of Mr. Brar, and the fact that he likes to come on media/screen, trying to show to the people - I am not the Project-Leader, I am the REAL CEO, KEEP ME GIVING ME Z-SECURITY, I AM THE CEO , This also satisfies his false self-proclaimed ego. One of the lines we need to investigate and research is who exactly organised and planned the attack on the Golden Temple. Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji:- If one can not understand the meanings of Gurbani, he should try to concentrate on the gramatical (laga-maatraan-even if you don't have any knowlegde, try to remember them) part to read it as "shudh" as possible, he'll get to understand the meanings by Guru sahib's kirpa after some time automatically.

ਸੋ ਏਸ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਬੰਧ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ । ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਅਸਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਸੁਕਾਲ ਸੀ । ਦੂਸਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਅੰਨ ਦਾਣਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ । ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਭੀ ਆਇਆ । ਅਸਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਲਿਆ । ਆਪੋ ਵਿਚ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬੜੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੇ । ਅਸਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਦੀ ਬੜੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼-ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਅੰਨ ਮੁੱਲ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੀ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ । ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਨੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜ ਭੀ ਸਉਂਪੇ । ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਕ ਆਚਰਨ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਚੁਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ । ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਭਲੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਮੰਨ ਲਈ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਵਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਜ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਢਾਡੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ ‘ਵਾਰ’ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਂਵਿਆ ਤੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੇ । ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਢਾਡੀ ਇਹ ਵਾਰ ਗਾਂਵਦੇ ਚਲੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ । ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ‘ਆਸਾ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ’ ਭੀ ਇਸੇ ‘ਵਾਰ’ ਦੀ ਸੁਰ ਉਤੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ । ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਬਿਰਾਹਿਮ ਕੀ ਵਾਰ ਕੀ ਧੁਨੀ ਗਾਉਣੀ ॥ (੫੦੯) ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਇਬਰਾਹੀਮ ਇਕੋ ਕੁਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਤੁਰਨੇ-ਸਿਰ ਸਨ । ਇਬਰਾਹੀਮ ਮੰਦ-ਕਰਮੀ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਇਕ ਨੌ-ਜਵਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਤੇ ਮਾੜੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੇ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਪਾਸ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ ਕੀਤੀ । ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਇਬਰਾਹੀਮ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਇਬਰਾਹੀਮ ਫੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਤੇ ਪਛਤਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਇਹ ਸਾਕਾ ਢਾਢੀਆਂ ਨੇ ‘ਵਾਰ’ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਂਵਿਆ । ਉਸੇ ਹੀ ਸੁਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਵਾਰ ਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਗਿਆ ਹੈ । ਉਸ ਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਮੂਨਾ: ਪਾਪੀ ਖਾਨ ਬਿਰਾਹਮ ਪਰ ਚੜਿਆ ਸੇਕੰਦਰ । ਭੇੜ ਦੁਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੱਚਿਆ ਬਡ ਰਣ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ । ਵਡਹੰਸ ਕੀ ਵਾਰ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਲਲਾਂ ਬਹਲੀਮਾ ਕੀ ਧੁਨਿ ਗਾਵਣੀ (੫੮੫) ਲਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਹਲੀਮਾ ਦੋ ਛੋਟੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਨ, ਕਾਂਗੜੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ । ਇਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਲਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਔੜ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਹਲੀਮਾ ਦੀ ਨਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਲਿਆ । ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ । ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋ ਪਈ ਪਰ ਬਹਲੀਮਾ ਜਿੱਤ ਗਿਆ । ਇਸ ਲੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਹਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਢਾਢੀ ਨੇ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਂਵਿਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਮੂਨਾ ਇਉਂ ਹੈ:- ਕਾਲ ਲਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਖੋਇਆ ਬਹਿਲੀਮਾ ॥ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਛਟਾ ਮਨਾਇ ਕੈ ਜਲੁ ਨਹਰੋਂ ਦੀਨਾ ॥ ਫਿਰਾਊਨ ਹੋਇ ਲਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਣ ਮੰਡਿਆ ਧੀਮਾ ॥ ਭੇੜ ਦੁਹੂ ਦਿਸ ਮੱਚਿਆ ਸੱਟ ਪਈ ਅਜੀਮਾ ॥ ਸਿਰ ਧੜ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਉ ਵਾਹਣ ਢੀਮਾ ॥ ਦੇਖਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਲਲਾਂ ਬਹਲੀਮ ਨੇ ਰਣ ਮਹਿ ਬਰਛੀਮਾ ॥ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਵਡਹੰਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਗਾਉਣੀ ਹੈ । ਸਾਰੰਗ ਕੀ ਵਾਰ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਰਾਇ ਮਹਮੇ ਹਸਨੇ ਕੀ ਧੁਨਿ (੧੨੩੭) ਮਹਮਾ ਤੇ ਹਸਨਾ ਦੋ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ; ਮਹਮਾ ਕਾਂਗੜੇ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇ ਹਸਨਾ ਧੌਲੇ ਦਾ । ਹਸਨੇ ਨੇ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੈਦ ਕਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਪਰ ਮਹਮੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਵਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਸਨੇ ਤੇ ਆ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ । ਚੋਖਾ ਚਿਰ ਦੋਹੀਂ ਧਿਰੀਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਤੇ ਆਖ਼ਰ ਮਹਮੇ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਹੋਈ । ਢਾਢੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਜੰਗ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਲਿਖੀ; ਇਸੇ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਰਾਗ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਗਾਣ ਦੀ ਹਿਦਾਇਤ ਹੈ । ਉਸ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਲਈ ਹੇਠ-ਲਿਖੀ ਪਉੜੀ ਹੈ: ਮਹਮਾ ਹਸਨਾ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ ਰਾਇ ਭਾਰੇ ਭੱਟੀ ॥ ਹਸਨੇ ਬੇ-ਈਮਾਨਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਮੇ ਥੱਟੀ ॥ ਭੇੜ ਦੁਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੱਚਿਆ ਸਰ ਵਗੇ ਸਫੱਟੀ । ਮਹਮੇ ਪਾਈ ਫਤਹ ਰਣ ਗਲ ਹਸਨੇ ਘੱਟੀ ॥ ਬੰਨ੍ ਹਸਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਜਸ ਮਹਮੇ ਖੱਟੀ ॥ ਵਾਰ ਮਲਾਰ ਕੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ਰਾਣੇ ਕੈਲਾਸ ਤਥਾ ਮਾਲਦੇ ਕੀ ਧੁਨਿ ॥ (੧੨੭੮) ਕੈਲਾਸ ਦੇਉ ਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਦੇਉ ਦੋ ਸੱਕੇ ਭਰਾ ਸਨ, ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਜਹਾਂਗੀਰ ਦਾ ਹਾਲਾ ਭਰਦੇ ਸਨ । ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਹਾਂਗੀਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੇਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪੋ ਵਿਚ ਲੜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਤਕੜਾ ਜੁੱਧ ਮਚਿਆ, ਮਾਲ ਦੇਉ ਜਿੱਤ ਗਿਆ, ਕੈਲਾਸ ਦੇਉ ਪਕੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ । ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਭਰਾ ਸੁਲਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਬੈਠੇ, ਅੱਧਾ ਅੱਧਾ ਰਾਜ ਵੰਡ ਲਿਆ । ਢਾਢੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਜੰਗ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਲਿਖੀ । ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਉੜੀ: ਧਰਤ ਘੋੜਾ, ਪਰਬਤ ਪਲਾਣ, ਸਿਰ ਟੱਟਰ ਅੰਬਰ ॥ ਨੌ ਸੌ ਨਦੀ ਨੜਿੰਨਵੇ ਰਾਣਾ ਜਲ ਕੰਬਰ ॥ ਢੁਕਾ ਰਾਇ ਅਮੀਰ ਦੇਵ ਕਰਿ ਮੇਘ ਅਡੰਬਰ ॥ ਆਣਿਤ ਖੰਡਾ ਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ੈ ਅੰਦਰ ॥ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਜਿਉਂ ਚਮਕਾਣੀਆਂ ਤੇਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਬਰ ॥ ਮਾਲਦੇਉ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਧਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਬਰ ॥ ਫਿਰ ਅੱਧਾ ਧਨ ਮਾਲਦੇਉ ਛਡਿਆ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਅੰਦਰ ॥ ਮਾਲਦੇਉ ਜਸੁ ਖਟਿਆ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ॥ ਜਿਸ ਸੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਲਦੇਉ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਵਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸੇ ਸੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਵਾਰ ਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਹਿਦੈਤ ਹੈ । ਕਾਨੜੇ ਕੀ ਵਾਰ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਮੂਸੇ ਕੀ ਵਾਰ ਕੀ ਧੁਨੀ (੧੩੧੨) ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸੇ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰ ਤੇ ਗਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ । ਮੂਸਾ ਇਕ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮੰਗੇਤ੍ਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਗਈ । ਮੂਸੇ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਗੇਤ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਕੜ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ; ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਂਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਗਈ ਹਾਂ । ਮੂਸੇ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਮੂਸੇ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਤੇ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਦਿਲੀ ਤੇ ਢਾਢੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਾਰ ਲਿਖੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਪਉੜੀ ਇਉਂ ਹੈ: ਤ੍ਰੈ ਸੈ ਸੱਠ ਮਰਾਤਬਾ ਇਕ ਗੁਰੀਏ ਡੱਗੈ ॥ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਮੂਸਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਭ ਜੱਗ ਪਰੱਖੈ ॥ ਚੰਦ ਚਿਟੇ ਬਡ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਕਹੁ ਕਿਤ ਵਰੱਗੇ ॥ ਰੁਤ ਪਛਾਤੀ ਬਗਲਿਆਂ ਘਟ ਕਾਲੀ ਅੱਗੈ ॥ ਏਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਮੂਸਿਆ ਕਿਨ ਕਰੀ ਨ ਅੱਗੈ ॥

For years Sikhs have said it but no one believed us. Now the truth is coming out on it's own. The attack on the Darbar Sahib was planned long before the actual attack. Gen Sinha of the Indian army had already declared that plan and military training for attacking had already started as early as 1983.

JALANDHAR: Senior Supreme Court advocate H S Phololka, who has remained face of legal battle for getting justice for the victims of 1984 riots, has announced to join AAP. Phoolka said that he would be enrolling himself as a member after paying obeisance at Darbar Sahib Amritsar. Though Phoolka has been spearheading the legal battle for justice to the victims and worked closely with Shiromani Akali Dal controlled Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee and Delhi Sikh gurudwara Management Committee but he did not join any party including the Akali Dal. Explaining his reason to join AAP he said "t o ensure good governance and freedom from moral and economic corruption social activists have come together to form this political party. After 30 years of being a social and legal activist on justice and equality and legal education and Anti-communal violence, I want to be an active part of this social Revolution - thus joining AAP is my natural choice." Mentioning role of AAP leaders to get justice for the victims he recalled that former law minister and one of the AAP founders Shanti Bhushan not only appeared in the case against Jagdish Tytler later but earlier on November 1, 1984 he had gone to the then Home Minister Narsimha Rao to impress upon him to call Army immediately. Shanti Bhushan also gave his affidavit before Nanavati Commission stating that Narsimha Rao wanted to call Army but he did not succeed convincing the authorities. "His Affidavit clearly pointed a finger at the then Prime Minister of Rajiv Gandhi, "Phoolka said. He also recalled that both Shanti Bhushan and AAP leader Prashant Bhushan had gone to Tirlokpuri area on 2 nd November 1984 alongwith a group of Supreme Court Lawyers in their effort to stop the killings. Sat Sri Akal Sangato, I always wonder why we dont have a Gurukar with DGSJi Parkash. It is possible, so why has it not been done yet? I am sure there are enough believers for the Gurukar to operate. Why has this not been done yet? Are people afraid of the "Singh Sabha"? Are people afraid of the violence that might ensue?

This issue is being raise at the highest political levels which is a good sign that it is being taken seriously. Another point i'd like to make is Sikh channels have been very quite of late not expressing or showing discussions how British Sikhs feel. I find that very strange.

After the fatal assault on a Delhi student just over a year ago, the city has earned the unwelcome title "India's rape capital". The picture is not as bad as the media paints, Indian officials say. Other countries also have a rape problem, they protest. But ever since the Delhi gang-rape case, the safety of women and the discrimination they suffer in Indian society has been in the spotlight. The Indian media just as much as the foreign media are giving the issue much more space. And while the case involving the Danish woman is getting priority attention from the Delhi police, many say what's still needed is the justice system and Indian society in general to take the issue more seriously. But violence and discrimination against women remain deeply entrenched in India's staunchly patriarchal society. The Danish woman told police that she approached the group of men after losing her way back to her hotel near New Delhi Railway Station. The men robbed her of her belongings and raped her, police spokesman Rajan Bhagat told the BBC. "She reached her hotel and reported the incident to the manager who called in the police and the investigation is now under way," Mr Bhagat said. No arrests have been made yet, but police are questioning a number of men in connection with the attack. "There was definitely involvement of more than one person in this episode. However, we shall disclose as to how many people we are looking for, at a later stage," Mr Bhagat said. "The woman left India in the morning, on a flight she had booked earlier." The Danish woman is believed to have been travelling alone and had been in Delhi since Monday after visiting the Taj Mahal, the BBC's Andrew North in Delhi reports. Police say she gave a detailed statement in the presence of the Danish ambassador before leaving the country, AFP news agency reports. There was no immediate comment from the Danish embassy in Delhi. Paharganj, a busy backpacker district frequented by foreign tourists, is located in the heart of the Indian capital, not far from Connaught Place. Last March a Swiss tourist was gang raped and her partner attacked by a group of men in Madhya Pradesh state. Six men were jailed for life for the attack in July. Since the December 2012 Delhi gang rape, the nation has been shocked by a string of brutal rapes of Indian women. They include a photojournalist raped in broad daylight in central Mumbai, a 21-year-old woman raped by two apparently unrelated groups of men on Christmas Eve in Pondicherry and a 16-year-old girl who died after being gang-raped twice and then set on fire in the eastern city of Calcutta. The then British prime minister sent a personal note saying that Britain supported India's unity in the face of demands for a separate Sikh homeland and disclosed that police were investigating threats against the safety of Indian diplomats. The letter will cause further debate about Britain's role in the raid among the worldwide Sikh community and senior MPs across the political spectrum after it was disclosed on Monday that the Indian government had made an apparent request for advice from the SAS in the months leading up to the raid. It will form part of an investigation launched by the cabinet secretary, Sir Jeremy Heywood, on the orders of David Cameron to determine the British government's actions over the raid on Sikhism's holiest site in Amritsar. The Indian government says about 400 people were killed when Gandhi sent troops into the temple complex in June 1984 in the six-day Operation Blue Star. Sikh groups, which have called for an inquiry into the British role in "one of the darkest episodes in Sikh history", put the death toll in the thousands, including many pilgrims. In what appears to be the first letter to Gandhi after the raid, sent on 30 June 1984, Thatcher wrote: "These have been anxious weeks for you, involving difficult decisions. I have followed closely your efforts to restore calm there, and I very much hope that the 'healing touch' for which you have called will open the way to a peaceful and prosperous future in that troubled region." The letter, which is in response to two sent by Gandhi on 9 and 14 June, appears to show that the Indian prime minister had expressed worries that Sikh "extremists" could use Britain as a base. Thatcher wrote: "I well appreciate your concern about the potential security threat posed by extremists outside India. We are determined not to allow our traditional freedoms to be abused by those who seek to use violence for political ends." In an apparent reference to death threats against Gandhi which had been reported in the British media, the UK prime minister who died last year wrote: "We have made sure the police are aware of these statements and they are investigating them." Thatcher also reassured Gandhi that British police were "devoting considerable resources" to safeguarding Indian government personnel in Britain. A few months after the letter was sent, Gandhi was gunned down by her own Sikh bodyguards in a claimed act of revenge. This triggered communal violence which led to the deaths of thousands of Sikhs across India. Other documents in the file make clear Whitehall's interest in lucrative arms sales to India at this time. A secret Foreign Office briefing dated 22 June 1984, which was sent to Downing Street, stressed that British "commercial interests" in India were "very substantial. It it a large and growing market for both commercial and defence sales. British exports in 1983 exceeded £800m and since 1975 India has bought British defence equipment worth over £1.25bn," the document claims. Cameron on Wednesday appeared to downplay the likelihood of an inquiry finding evidence that Britain was to blame for the raid. Labour's former deputy chairman Tom Watson suggested the British might have played a part in the assault on the temple in exchange for the Indians agreeing to purchase a fleet of helicopters in a £65m deal. Watson said to Cameron: "On your Amritsar inquiry, instead of ordering the civil servants to investigate, why don't you just ask lords Geoffrey Howe and Leon Brittan what they agreed with Margaret Thatcher, and whether it had anything to do with the Westland Helicopter deal at the time?" Cameron dismissed any suggestions of a conspiracy.

After a trial lasting two-and-a-half months, the five were convicted of a total of 18 counts of rape, one of causing or inciting child prostitution, one of engaging in sexual activity with a child, three of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and three of sexual assault. Judge John Bevan QC said: "Because some of the defendants do not speak good enough English, despite having lived here a long time, three interpreters have worked full time during this case, at a cost of over £30,000." He told the jury: "You have sat diligently and paid the closest of attention for weeks on end. "It has been transparently obvious that you have been working very hard." He excused them from further jury service for the next 15 years. Victim A described Zdeno Mirga, known as "Skinny", as the gang's boss, prosecutor Angela Rafferty said. "He encouraged her, often very forcefully indeed, to give others... sex. "He did this using the power he had over her at the time, or threatened her and sometimes he used violence against her. "Skinny took her to parties where she was shared around sexually." The girl told police that Mirga "shared" her because he wanted money to buy cannabis and vodka, the court heard. 'Horrific ordeals'After the verdicts, Det Supt Gary Ridgway, who led the inquiry, said the convictions were part of an ongoing "victim-led" joint investigation between Cambridgeshire Police and Peterborough City Council. Officers and social workers are working to identify young people they believe are at risk of harm before any allegations are even made. Girls can then identify people who were exploiting them, he said. Speaking about this case, Det Supt Gary Ridgway said: "These girls were targeted simply because they were vulnerable. "They were seen as easy targets and exploited by this group of teenage boys and men who abused them for their own sexual gratification." He said the girls were subjected to "horrific" ordeals. The news that the SAS was involved in Bluestar is not new it was covered by Mary Ann Weaver in the Sunday Times in 1984 and is detailed on many Sikh websites. But it was thought at the time it was general training the UK gave to a friendly country. What the letters do confirm is that the massacre was planned a year in advance at least by India, premeditated massacre. Something the Sikhs have long since said but India refused to acknowledge. The UK involvement is much higher than previously thought as it seems it was being discussed at the most senior of levels. I think the main purposes to Britain got involved were two fold, 1. India being an of the Soviet Union could be weakened if they the Sikhs became disaffected. 2. Trade, seeing how corrupt the Indians were it was a quick way of making money by seeming to be friendly and getting many contracts signed However the massacres was so large and resulted in the 1984 Genocide that the British got their involvement hidden. Oh I get it!!! Hindus have to be proven guilty in the court, but Sikhs could be killed in some fake encounter without even being ever charged.
