Monday night Abinashi Singh was only the second Sikh to graduate from the Los Angeles County Reserve Deputy Academy. He was top in his class and is well liked by his peers. His hope is that this will lead to full time, but it is a good start. He will be working out of the Compton station.

Abinashi Singh, is a graduate of Miri Piri Academy and was living here in Espanola for a couple years working at Akal Security. He has always wanted to on be in the Police, and since the Los Angeles Sheriff’s office is now allowing Sikhs with turbans to be a part of the police force. He normally ties a Dhumalla turban….but maybe he had to wear a smaller Pagh. Good Job Abinashi!
