The Brahmin-women will live with Shudras; the Vaishya-women will reside in the homes of Kshatriyas and the Kshatriya-women in the homes of Vaishyas; the Shudra-women will be in the homes of Brahmins.16.

And also all Gurus married in their own caste... And in this dasam granth bani, guruji wrote the above...

Those who consider the castes illusory, they do not abandon the love of the Lord.

ਤੇ ਤੇ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰੀ ਕਹ ਜਾਹੀ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਕਛੁ ਨਾਹੀਂ ॥੨੧॥

ते ते परम पुरी कह जाही ॥ तिन हरि सिउ अंतरु कछु नाहीं ॥२१॥

When they leave the world, they go to the abode of the Lord, and there is no difference between them and the Lord.21.

ਜੇ ਜੇ ਜੀਯ ਜਾਤਨ ਤੇ ਡਰੈ ॥ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਤਜਿ ਤਿਨ ਮਗਿ ਪਰੈ ॥

जे जे जीय जातन ते डरै ॥ परम पुरख तजि तिन मगि परै ॥

Those who fear the castes and follow their path, abandoning the Supreme Lord.

ਤੇ ਤੇ ਨਰਕ ਕੁੰਡ ਮੋ ਪਰਹੀ ॥ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਜਗ ਮੋ ਬਪੁ ਧਰਹੀ ॥੨੨॥

ते ते नरक कुंड मो परही ॥ बार बार जग मो बपु धरही ॥२२॥

They fall into hell and transmigrate again and again.22.

what does that tuk have to do with sikhs marrying within caste?

I read that dasam granth link. The Guru is just describing what it will be like. The Guru is not saying if it is Good or Bad. There is no opinion in what the Guru has written. Only people like us read it and put an opinion to it ie we're just assuming stuff from it whereas the Guru is merely describing.

Not everything in kaljug is going to be bad ie better medicine, better standards of living but what use is all of this if it is not based on dharam? Ie fair enough we marry anyone because we shouldn't discriminate but is this the reason people are marrying anyone OR is it cos of desires. One reasoning is based on Dharma the other is not.

Also when the Guru gives an opinion its pretty clear because he extends to say something like and so X ure going away from God... I think you shouldcarry on reading the Dasam Granth because the opinion bits become clear after a while.

Its basically if what you do is based on Dharma or not.

it has nothing to do with it. its taken completley out of context above. you need to understand first what Guru Ji is tellng us about, then you will understand.

that is taken from CHAUBEES AVTAR , and it forms part of NEHKLANKI AVTAR. its right at the begining and Guru Ji is telling us about the Kal jug and what has happened. that Brahmans and shudras have entered into marriage totally abandoning their religous books, which give many injunctions against the shudras.

basically Guru Ji is saying that people have totally abandoned religion or DHARMA.

use sri guru granth sahib ji as a guide to understand dasam granth baani. if your translation of dasam granth goes against SGGS ji, then you know your way off.

guru gobind singh ji wouldn't write anything opposite to sri guru granth sahib ji, being the tenth jot of guru nanak ji.
