Hindu Mob Trying To Sexually Harass Cnn Reporter

Recommended Posts

How did you conclude they were Hindus ? Usually in Mumbai it is the muslim youth who misbehave with foreigners and use the crowd or mob as a cover for molesting vulnerable girls.

this had already happened during New Year's Eve as well. Mumbai also has a huge floating and resident muslim population.

From all my years in India, and for all their sins, rarely have I seen ordinary hindus misbehave with women when in a group or by themselves. Usually one of the positive features of India and it's hindus are that even in an urban setting they are more or less respectful towards women. The only exception to this is noticed in Western UP or Delhi which are an exception though only to a degree.

Western UP and Delhi happened to be centres of the Mughal Empire and thus it is natural that those who lived in these parts didn't usually get their women treated with respect and neither did they bother to return those favours to anyone else.

brother most of molestators involed in new year eve hooliganism were hindi speaking bhyias from up,bihar out of 49 just 2 or 3 were local boys . this is main reason why marathas have hatred for hindi speaking people it is again the bhiyas again who r involed in daylight roberries, murders, rapes, This is happening in punjab and chandigarh 90% murderers r from bihar and up. In chandigarh go and see court of chandigarh most of the accused r biharis or up bhiyas .

This is actually a poor and exaggerated example with a stupid youtube title. It is typical CNN garbage clip/commentary as well. It does not help with the reality.

India is shamefully disgusting when it comes to the treatment of women in public. Bollywood tells Indian masses how to think and behave. Bollywood's message has been that women enjoy harassment.

In India, women are objectified as they are in most of the rest of the world. However, in India the underlying deep rooted sexism and cavemale attitude makes it downright dangerous. Sadly punjabi's around the world are no less disgusting than hindu's muslims or others.

In any sane society where one woman might be harassed, it should be the duty of all men/women in the vicinity to come to the immediate aid of that person.

Compared to most religions, Hinduism actually accepts sexism a lot.

I'd say Hinduism and Islam degrade women the most.

In Hinduism, a woman is never to be left as an independent individual.

She is to be accompanied by her father. If not father, brother (age does not matter). If not brother, uncle. If not uncle, husband. If not husband, male cousin...etc

Although "TIMES" have changed..changing many activities/morals etc..this is still a part of their RELIGION.

It is NOT their culture, but in their religion to accept these types of attitudes towards women.

Not really true .. in North India the reality was that the presence of foreign invaders and elements meant that the culture always veered around to being protective of women and keeping them sheltered out of unclean eyes.

however in South India, you can see more or less how women were/are left to their own devices and left to do their own thing.

I've watched the video. I still can't see any point where any man (hindu, muslim, atheist or agnostic) tries to rape the reporter.

The reporter herself doesn't make this accusation.

It seems some peoples attention span only last for 7 words as a headline. Seriously. Take a long hard look at yourselves.

    • Whatever problems the Afghan Sikhs have or Punjabi Sikhs have, it's much better to support them than the Muslims.
    • So, are you saying Guru ji isn't God? Or are you saying the British encouraged this belief?
    • Part of the problem is the hostilities between India and Pakistan. If the border were open, Amritsar would easily become a huge trading city. Secondly, the National Highways Authority of India is constructing a new 6-lane expressway from Kashmir, through Amritsar/Jalandhar/Ludhiana to Dehli which will be part of the Ludhiana-Delhi-Kolkatta Industrial Corridor.  Maps of the New Silk Road show Kolkata as a key part of the "road". The Punjab to Kolkata expressway and rail connections will fulfill the ability to hook up to the New Silk Road.  In addition, while crossing to Pakistan via AH1 (Asian Highway 1) is difficult, India does connect to AH1 on the other side, towards the East. Finally, Punjab can trade with the world via Mundra port in Gujurat. Rail to Mundra, then sea onwards. Dubai is very close with a free port. If you send products to Iran, there are ground links onward to Europe.
    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
