The best step is to prevent this event happening today and lobby with gurdwaras around UK to ensure they are aware of Darshan in the country and that they should uphold the hukamnama of his excommunication.

Secondly it is a opportunity for knowledgeble Singhs to tackle and debate with Darshan on his views. People may be able to stop him going to Gurdwaras, but you cant stop him spreading his views behind closed doors. If he can be defeated in debate then it will silence him for the future.

The fact is that Darshan is well known amongst older generations, most older people state "no if prof darshan singh says it, then it must be true", so his views hold allot of weight due to his old fame and popularity. There has not been any real parchar from pro Dasam Guru Darbar supporters which reaches out to the masses, maybe it was time it was done.

I think we should use our brains rather then go in mod-handed.

We should all go to the gurdwara well in advance. We should go in, in ones and twos so as not to raise any suspision. Be calm and collected and sit in darbar sahib

give the committee no cause to call the police (although I am sure they will have called the police in advance) and no cause to evict anyone from gurdwara.

Maybe we should split into two jathas, one who have gone inside incognito, and another outside .

Then, when he comes that is when we need to make our presence known, how we do that is up for debate. Whether we all collectively stand up and make sure he does not get time on stage or any other way, but we must not get into brawls in the gurdwara in presence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

The British Sikh Student Federation fully believes in the Supremacy of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and is bachan-vadh to all Hukamnama's passed by the Highest Authority of Sikh's.

We urge all Sikh Sangat to protest against the arrival of Darshan Lal Ragi and to ensure he is not allowed on the stages of any Guru-Ghar in the UK.

Members of the British Sikh Student Federation will be present today at the protest.

i agree Professor darshan singh should not be allowed to do kirtan due to be excommunicated from the panth afer the hukamnama from Akal Takhat Sahib. i also believe with the aid of the police we should get this programme stopped due to what could happen.

im proud that there still are khalsa out there looking to uphold gurus hukam and stop this man but my question is how many of us have gone to other gurdwaras to enforce akal takhat hukam to stop langar being eaten on tables. the hukamnama for the eaten of langar in a pangat at the time was issued by the panthic jatherdhar of the time.

are we going to show the same vigour and passion to make sure every guru ghar that uses chairs and tables inthe gurdwara renmove them or are we going to pick and choose which hukamnama we want to see enforced.

maybe guru ji assist us in stopping darshan from doing his programme today and any others he may do anywhere in the world until he has peshed infront akal tahat

Dear sangat jee

Anti sikh, Darshan will attempt his hate speeches in Southall tonight. we need to make sure nothing like this happens. we are in danger of falling into the trap that the muslims are in. if he is successful, we will be labelled as terroists. we need to show the world that he is NOT a sikh, and the best way to do this, is to make sure he does not set foot into the gurdwara.

The police failed to sort this out so we need to make sure we dnt make the same mistake

Looking forward to seeing a large turnout united against the nindak darshan

Gurnindak Darshan lal was promoted by Sarna of Delhi gurudwara committee. Darshan lal tried to hold a diwan in one of Delhi Gurudawras but was stopped by singhs of delhi even though Delhi police was aiding him.

Sarna has parted with him. for the time being. That is the reason he has left India heart broken. Now he will try to create trouble in countries outside India. It has fallen on us living in these countries to bridle this dancing bull.Singhs of Uk need to handle this with intelligence going to Gurudwara in a peaceful manner and sit inside. When he comes start reciting Waheguru , waheguru so taht he is not able to speak.

There shouldn't be a single Singh on this site or sitting at home in the next 4 hours from the UK. All should be making their way to the Gurdwara and be ready to do simran out loud. That means all the shy Singhs aswell.

Keep it respectful your in the House of SatGuru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

Stay in Chardikala no matter what takes place.

    • Hi All, I havent been on this forum for a while but I thought id give it a try again as it helped me through some rough times earlier in my life. I wanted to seek for guidance on sikhi and marriage ... I noticed a post earlier on sanjog etc. and it got me thinking about my own life and marriage. For context, I have been married 3 years and things are not working out. When we met, I looked in to sanjog alot and it felt like it was written. However, as these years have gone by its become apparent that we no longer align with each other and our marriage is struggling. We dont seem to understand each other and things have fallen apart. We are at a stage now where separation/divorce is looking like the best option. Neither of us are happy and whilst we have tried to work things through in many different ways, after 3 years we have drifted away. What are the sikh views on this? is it written if we decide that we no longer serve each other? or is that a sin and should I continue to work at it? my issue at the moment is that it is draining me. I feel withdrawn from everything due to things going on between us including sikhi and going to the gurdwara.  Breaks my heart to even be writing this but I do think if we are both not happy and cant see a way of being happy then what is the point in continuing? Or should I be continuing and is it paap if we dont honour our laavan? if that is the case, what does sikhi say about marriage? how do I continue knowing everyday I feel the way I do?   Thanks

    • I'll use this place as my spiritual journal so if anyone wants to join then feel free to! I'm not sure if this could be classed as an experience but last week (or 2 weeks ago), I felt my saliva to be sweet however I lost it after a week. I don't really regret it though, if I lost it then it's Hukam Another point, I feel my concentration to be very good for a while, I can focus on the void for a longer period of time than I could before. I also feel a lot more Anand, it's all Guru di kirpa
