You have a point in that a soldier or what one would term a legitimate target was attacked and not innocent civilians. But then again the way they killed him was inhuman especially the fact that they beheaded him.

To the person who thinks it might be a inside job because the two idiots shouted out 'Allah hu Akbar' what else do you expect Muslims to shout when they are about to attack?

Sikhs in London especially East London need to be careful. The Gurdwaras need to get the sangat in to protect them during the night time. The politicians keep on talking rubbish that every community will condemn the attack (ie the Muslims as well), when we know most Muslims will be secretly rejoicing while expressing outrage in public. The country now has over 2.5 Muslim potential terrorists. No wonder Cameron is rushing back from Paris, he must be wetting his pants at this moment!

Yeah obviously its muslims who carried out the attack but often evidence in these cases shows the chain of command often points towards govt terrorist operatives within MI6 or MI5 (ie their handlers who fund the mullahs and train jihadi's). And yeah I agree Sikhs must be vigilant but not alarmed end of the day any attack on Sikhs would only back fire on those who want to attack Islam and muslims because then some Sikhs (ie the turban campaign idiots) would sort of side with the muslims.

I wouldn't put it past them to be honest bro, but let's not give the genuine Islamists a chance to fly under the radar by blaming big, bad government for everything.

Yup i say the more negative press islam gets the better i have no love for Islam and other totalitarian intolerant ideologies...BUT innocent muslims who are respectful and peaceful to non-muslims shouldn't be blamed for the murder of a british soldier who after all is killing their brothers and sisters in "muslim" nations for economic reasons by western armed combatants.

Testosterone increases anger. This is directly linked to sex hormones. whereby the one who refrains from sexual act will have higher levels of testosterone.

This leads to aggression, violence and a desire to control others and dominate others.

We are deeply saddened by the Terrible attack on the British Soldier on the Streets of London. Following the attack, There has been lot of Hate Speech with the use of the words "Ragheads" and "Turbanators" on Twitter and elsewhere due to Ignorance and the case of Mistaken Identity due to Appearance (as they don't know we are Sikhs). Media is reporting the attackers as "Isl... Terrorists"
We Request the Sangat of Britain to Stay Vigilant and Spread awareness of your identity, as due to the way we appear with Beards and Turbans, many people of the public think we are of another religion and we often become victims of hate crimes.

No community should be targeted regardless due to the actions of some crazed individuals but we should do our best to tell the world who we are and what we believe in and why we look the way we do and the meanings behind our Beard, Turbans, Etc. So we need everyone's cooperation. We are preparing a flyer which will highlight Basic Principles of Sikhism. We request all to print and distribute to any nonsikh. We also request handing out the flyers to those Sikhs who don't speak English, so if anyone approaches them, they can hand it to them or let them know who we are. It's a small effort but we must do what we can to spread awareness.

The peace, prosperity, democracy and religious freedom we enjoy and usually take for granted in the UK is for a large part built on the kurbani of the armed services. We owe all past and current soldiers a debt of gratitude. They get paid little, have no support on discharge and are expected to make the ultimate sacrifice without question for a cause of another's choosing.

Hope Vaheguru blesses the family of the soldier with the strength to endure such a loss in such circumstances. One can only imagine the pain of learning the soldier killed in such a horrific manner, with video of the murder scene and the killer boasting broadcast all over TV, was actually their son, brother, husband or father.

As for conspiracy theories, Bhaiji Singh559 above is right. It's not that long ago that a Gursikh veer was beheaded by the pakistan taliban - wouldn't we be deeply offended if someone suggested that was a conspiracy by Sikh leaders? As Sikhs we should know better than to propogate such ridiculous theories on a Gursikh forum.
