This is because humans for most of the course of history have lived junglee. (Hunter gatherer)

It's only relatively recently we have become "civilised ".

Our bodies and brains have adapted and evolved to survive like a junglee.

That is hardwired.

It's true. I recommend reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, he gives a good overview of human history.

Humans have only settled and farmed for 12,000 years, so for roughly 90% of our existence we have been hunter gatherers.

I mean that is why people are orientated to going into casual partnerships such as boyfriend-girlfriend. In our culture and in sikhi, grihast jeevan is a 'civilised' way in the age of kalyug to be in a partnership, and it seems this was is the case in many other cultures as well. this girlfriend-boyfriend stuff is a step toward becoming uncivilised.

The casual relationship is an attempt to destroy our society.

Our society is built on family and that is created on the back of institution of marriage.

Monogamy was not the way in the hunter gatherer life. There is a reason you have more female ancestors than male ancestors.

The way things are going, we are going to be back in a situation where a small number of men are going to have harems of women.

The junglee female has no qualms about sharing a man with other females if that man is high status enough.

This is how it is like in the animal kingdom.

I have not seen this situation as yet. At the moment things are a mess and males have been with different females and have many exes, and same with females having been with different males and having exes as well.

And both males and females become really angry and upset when they are 'cheated' on within these casual partnerships, so they want these casual relationships to be monogamous?!?!

It's happening in varying degrees.

Women are not attracted to about 80 percent of males.

You will find more women with exes than men, that is why you get 'incels'.

When women complain about men cheating, it is really the apex of males that are able to cheat and go with multiple women.

If you want to see the data, all these on-line dating websites will provide this and you will see the behaviour.
