http://www.akj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=...&highlight= A 10-year-old boy decided to study judo despite the fact that he had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident. The boy began lessons with an old Japanese judo master. The boy was doing well, so he couldn't understand why, after three months of training the master had taught him only one move. "Sensei," the boy finally said, "Shouldn't I be learning more moves?" "This is the only move you know, but this is the only move you'll ever need to know," the sensei replied. Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy kept training. Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his…

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Once Baba Harnam Singh Sahib was sitting in meditation under a tree, some distance to the North of a village called Siriewale. He used to keep his face covered. Some young boys came that side and sat near Him. They requested Him to uncover His face. They also questioned Him as to why He was keeping His face covered. On their insistence, Baba Ji politely told them that the time was not yet ripe to uncover his face, because everything dry that came under His gaze would catch fire. Not realising, the implication of this remark, a couple of boys removed the cloth covering Baba Ji's face. No sooner was this done, than the whole villa…

Perfect is the Bani, the Word of the Perfect Guru. His Virtues are so many, they cannot be counted. || 1 || Pause || God Himself makes all arrangements. Meditating on God, desires are fulfilled. || 2 || He is the Giver of wealth, Dharmic faith, pleasure and liberation. Meditating, meditating in remembrance on the Creator Lord, the Architect of Destiny, I am fulfilled. || 3 || In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, Nanak enjoys the Lord’s Love. I am not going to name the person. He is having problems posting on here, so I shall do the honor. What you see below is his post and my response. He further replied to my post, but it was pretty much the same thing that I had answered already, so I would like the sangat's input on this. His post My response... His response... We have answered every single question by this dude on several Sikh forums. Maybe he is not satisfied. Anyone who is mature enough to come out with proper answers is welcome to post. Others need not bother and can learn.

fateh saad sangat ji, in reflection of what the khalsa was and what it is now, how has it changed?.. opinions please???.. like, some gurdwaras keep it manditory for women to tie a dastaar, and some dont... the khalsa is an identy. this identy is portrayed through mariyada and rheni and bheni.. what then of gur-khalsa wale that sayoffensive things to others/ swear/ chat up gals- but dont do anything/ all he other things that is considered not right... they do their paat/simran/sewa, but also, feed their other needs (girls,-but dont do anything) and dont let alone their bad boli, and such... as, in the amrit sunchaar, they say to do the 5 bania, and keep rehet. the ma…

these are some of my fav poems ive written, related to sikhi. just thought id share them with everyone..hope you all enjoy them  Wonderful lord (waheguru) Darkness. Black, cold darkness. There’s no earth, moon, or stars. A single entity, our master, engulfed in the deepest of meditation. Genderless, formless, a light so pure. The whitest of white. The only true cure. True throughout the ages, in a single thought provoked explosion, created our universe, our world, our ocean. We play the game of life and death. A tune so beautifully composed by our grace. Tastes so deliciously perfect. A temptation to test us, those who fail and he neglect, fall further in self …

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Some people have been questioning facts about 1984, State sponsored Sikh killings, etc. This book is a must read if you want the knowledge to answer them. I especially recommend it for those of us who quote figures without knowing where they came from, and to the premi who has been sending me PMs (and most of Sikhsangat apparently) - please read this before sending me anything else. You can download it free from here: http://www.ensaaf.org/docs/reducedtoashes.php Wikipedia review here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reduced_to_Ashes_Book
