Can any bdy elaborate whats the rehat while we swim. Like I wanna know how to handle kesh and kirpan. If kirpan gets wet then it gets rusty and ...its like disrespecting the kakkar or its like making ur kirpan useless. Abt Kesh, can we wear swimming cap? i think not. And if we leave umm as it is, I think the pool water is not that clean. Please share ur views. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh.

SWORD by Hardeep Singh My sword is my companion my warrior and friend, Not to be offensive but sworn to defend, The infusion of steel runs through my veins, Making me immune from sorrow and pain, My sword is the protector of the needy and poor, When oppression becomes a disease my sword is thecure, My sword sings the song of selfless love, It lives in harmony with law from above, The flash of my Guru’s sword awakens the sleepingsoul, Without the sword I can never be whole, The sword of the Guru is the giver of life, Before the soul was barren now it is ripe, I am the saint and the soldier that walks in peace, I am the humble dust of your feet…

Hi it would be a great help if I could get some response in regards to these questions. I'm writing my Dissertation paper on the turban. 1. what does the turban represent for you personally? 2. How does the pagh determine your personality? (if it doesn't why?) 3. How does it construct your physical appearance? (by wearing a pagh how do you perceive yourself and how do others look at you) 4. whats the style of your pagh? (the way its tied, the style, the colour significance) and why? 5. Is it a cultural and or religious purpose and why? 6. Is there any gender distinctions(differences) in wearing and tieing a pagh? (For example through my observations I noted mos…

WJKK WJKF! Sangat ji I'm practicing the tabla Kehrva thaal and I was wondering where I could get a loop of a vaja, dilruba, anything really for me to practice along with. Also if someone can help me find a link to a shabad where the kirtanee is doing a kehrva shabad and the tabla is quiet or something like that for me to practice with. Or if anyone who plays table could tell me what they did when they didn't have a vaja player to practice with Would really appreciate it! Thank you! WJKK WJKF

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Wahgeguru Ji Ki Fateh! I have a question about having tables and chairs in the Gurdwara. I know lots of people are against it...yet lots of ppl are for it as well...I was having a discussion about it with someone, and I told them I dont agree with it, and explained my reasons. They put up a really good arguement...and well...I didnt really know how to defend myself...so... Is it okay to have tables and chairs in the Gurdwara??...If not...why??!!!! :T: Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Kee Fateh!!

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! This is a plea to all sikhs who read this to take amrit and live your life according to the gurus orders. If you do take amrit, then please encourage others to also. If we are to shake off the ties of slavery and to save the sikh religion from being absobed into the hindu religion, which the indian goverment is furiously trying to do, we must take the amrit of Guru gobind singh je. Some people I know at the gurudwara say that we should wait for akal purkh to bless us and then we wil take amrit. If you lost your job will you just sit in your house waiting for god to bless you with a job? If your house was destroyed, woul…

"Put him behind bars and leave him there until I say so!" exclaimed the King. "My liitle finger has been severed whilst trying to draw the sword from the sabre during the hunting expedition and all he can say is take comfort in what he does". The soldiers wrestled the cabinet minister and imprisoned him until further notice. As time went on the king went hunting again but this time becoming estranged from his soldiers. In the thick of the forest the king was truly lost and to make things worse he became the kidnap victim of a group of terrible bandits. The king lost hope as he had no chance of being discovered by his soldiers. The bandits wanted to kill the king and offe…
