  1. like i said before, its not about hetro or homo. Its about using extracts from Gurbani and giving a Sikh angle to promote something that is fundamentally against Sikhi i.e. a Kaamic lifestyle. In the same way.. If someone was to promote a hetro sikh themed dating site, encouraging multiple relationships outside of marriage - then saying its okay, because we should accept everyone's lifestyle- Sabat da bhalla and misinterpreting Gurbani to suggest its okay within the Sikh teaching to do this- that is totally wrong! its easy for ignorant people to say sarbat da bhalla.. and justify everything.. sarbat da bhalla to peados too i guess?? What infact Sarbat da bhalla means.. it would be a homosexual's bhalla if he was taught to refrain from those thoughts, in the same way a hetro person dating outside of wedlock's bhalla would be to refrain from acting on kaam. Sarbat da bhalla means that it would be your bhalla to follow the teachings of Sikhi, and not acting on urges. like i said before as well.. everyone has their demons, for some is hetro sexual urges, others its homo.. its about controlling them through spirituality, and never embracing them.

  3. Someone from SikhSangat should go and check it out. I think these niddar people are trying to legitimize the muhant and other hindus taking over the Gurudwaras. They try to say that the Singh Sabha movement that pushed out these people who made ladies dance inside the Harmandir Sahib complex are actually "oppressed Sikhs". I just saw the pdf and they include niddar's and paramjeet's book. They're trying to change Sikh history and the complete outlook on it. Niddar seems like a very confused old unpard banda or an RSS sympathizer.

  4. I make sure to laugh with them, and then say something in a really sweet and friendly way that makes them feel humiliated beyond devastation. Best part is the helpless expression on their face, as they can't retaliate, and the irritating grin on my face which they won't ever forget. Problem solved!

  5. On the issue of tying Sikhi into things, I don't know why 95% of people who might carry a Sikh banner do so. Sikhi is not a birthright. It is not a caste. If you associate with Sikhi, make it part of your inner and outer form and protect it and serve others according to it. Don't employ it for your own agenda. Do you consider yourself born a Sikh? No such thing. What makes you Sikh? A general belief, bias or cultural preferences make you punjabi but not Sikh.

  8. Thanks for the links ... Already seen them years ago ... It's good to be informed about such things and be wary but it's a shame how an informative positive event gets dragged into negative politics. I say we go and check it our for ourselves rather than basing it around preconceived notions about what the event might entail ...

  9. Bhen ji, It is no secret and quite common knolwdge that the UKPHA organisers Paramjit Singh / Amandeep Madra and Davinder Toor are hardcore supporters of Niddar. Paramjit can be seen in the Hazoor sahib video alongside Niddar! When their ideology is blatenty against sikhi tenents, then why are they allowing Niddar to speak at this event?

  10. Go to sleep 10 hrs before your amritvela time. Once you are on roll then bring sleep time to 9 hrs and then to 8 hrs. This trick helped me in the past

  12. Once the darbar of Guru Ji was is full flow and Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was talking to his Sikhs when one of Guru Ji’s sevaks came into the darbar. This singh was very close to Guru Ji and Guru Ji loved him dearly, he came into the darbar and held out his hand and asked Guru Ji what was in his hand. Guru Ji said he was giving instruction to the Sikhs but the sevak insisted that Guru Ji answer his question. Guru Ji smiled for this Sikh was very close to him and clean of mind. Guru Ji looked at the fist that the singh was holding out. Guru Ji said “ I believe you have a small bird in your tight fist.” “Yes, but is it alive or dead?” asked the singh. Guru Ji had a broad smile in his glorious face , “Singha if I say it is alive you are going to squeeze it and kill it, if I say it is dead you are going to open your hand and let it fly away, so what are you going to do?.” The singh knelt down infront of Guru Ji and said “I was thinking of it in a different way oh Guru Ji. As long as I am in your protective hand I am safe and no one can touch me or hurt me, as soon as you open your hand and let me fly I move away from you and your protection, oh Guru Ji never let me out of your hands” Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was very pleased with the response and blessed him.

  14. When I saw the ad's for this exhibition at first I thought WOW!! that will be good, and on the face of it it seems like an excellent attempt at bringing out historical facts, pictures and artefacts that we may have not seen before. But then as I made myself more familiar with the website the organisers of this exhibition came to light - Nang Niddar Singh and his crew! http://gt1588.eventbrite.com/ Without seeing the exhibition I cannot comment on the contents, and they may be genuine, but it seems as though the drive behind this is to invite people to the exhibtion and then using the books, literature and talks to plant thier mis-interpreted, brahmin infiltrated ideolgy into people. Everyone knows the ideololgy that these guys have, they believe: Sikhs are a sect of hindus they are the only true sikh khalsa warriors (all other jathebandis - taksal, akj, other nihangs etc are all deluded and fake) going clubbing, eating meat, getting drunk, having extra-marital relationships before marriage is OK. Vishnu was the first Akali nihung that they pray to before Guru Gobind Singh That only they know what the true shaster vidya is and true sikhi - apprently it all got diluted by the british. etc Niddar claims to be the last known true warrior of the Nihangs who knows Shaster Vidya - yeah he might be, but that doesn't give him the authority to put everyone else down including panthic jathebandis, sant, mahapursh etc and spread lies. Everyone has seen the videos on youtube - of him trying to be a big man in hazoor sahib and then apologising and also getting beats by Uptej Singh, whose gatka Niddar plays down as fake. What does everyone else think about this exhibtion?

  15. Inqlabi ji, Please read Suraj Prakash Granth before commenting. As per Sikhism there are only two religions universally- GURMUKH and MANMUKH. Think which side you want to fall in. Guru fateh.

  17. I love the videos above! Very inspiring! Having had discussions with many Sangath and Bhaee Sahibs about why there aren't any Bibia Parcharaaks, I wish to point out the following points: - Many Jathas feel that Bibia shouldn't do Katha or Akhand Paath Raul Seva - Less importance and encouragement given in areas of Santhia and Ithiaas to Bibia - More emphasis made on Keerthan - Many feel that Bibia should focus heavily on raising Bhujhangia and the needs of the family - Bibia are at fault due to lack of unity amongst Bibia and not enough support/backing is given to pursue such aims - Lack of Bibia role models for upcoming generation/youth to look up to I personally would love to see Bibia doing Parchaar but I also believe all of the above to be true and feel that there's always a valid and practical reason as to why those points were made. Just like to ask ... Were Bibia doing Katha in Puraathan sameh? ... I assume that Bibia were raising families at that time and Singhs were held responsible for Katha/Veechaar?

  20. lol.. so they are mutually exclusive? so during Maharaja Ranjit's Rule, Sikhs stopped reciting "Raj Karega Khalsa, Aukhi rehe na koi?" Realistically a state where Sikhs are politically in control (khalistan) will not adhere 100% to the Khalsa principles at all times. We will always pray to Maharaaj for Khalsa to raaj. Raj karega Khalsa is your own interpretation - for one person it could be Khalsa in his own jeevan, in his own family, in his own community,... for me it means the end of Kaalyug raaj altogether. In the meantime, why the hell should we live like slaves, be killed, raped and mocked in HINDUstan??? Khalistan is the political struggle.. "raaj bina na dharam chaley hai" Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj already gave the go ahead for a Sikh controlled Panjab. Maharaaj gave their thapra and ordered Banda Singh Bahadhur to conquer Panjab. Khalistan already existed for 50 glorious years.. where all dharams were given equal opportunities. Khalistan is about politically RECLAIMING our holy land.

Anything is better than gulaami.. once we got khalistan we can work towards allowing sikhi to flourish. you stupid people forgotten the injustices?? you forgotten our brothers rotting in the jails? you like reading sardar ji jokes in every media?? you lot deserve gulaami u bunch of pehnji pehnji fairy sell-outs!!
