  1. only because of their birth rates. Hundreds of thousands of iranians and pakis arent actually muslims but they have to act like one so that they wouldnt be hanged. Most of their converts leave their religion after a couple of years

  2. Notice something about trump? No wars...look at Obama...and btw who was his vice president who went along with all the wars? So to expect a more peaceful world over the next 4yrs if biden gets in ..is quite frankly delusional. For all his faults...trump never actively killed innocent brown civilians...the other however did

  3. Dear friend, your post means you have deep compassion and love inside you ? (Dhiyaa comes with simran) I'm sorry it sounds harsh, but it really is everyone's karam. Equally, it's your own karam that you met the true Guru and he gave you compassion towards others. There's 3 mindsets you go through in simran: 1 - God please bless me 2 - God please bless everyone, but begin with me 3 - Praying for Sarbat da bhalla I think greatest thing of being alive right now is you have an opportunity to turn that compassion into something. Through seva/volunteering we can do this ji

  4. There is suffering and shall always be, unless we have Him within ourselves, within our mind. He is the only source of true and everlasting happiness, or call it bliss. Lakh khusheeyaa patshaeeya jeh Satgur nazar kareh.

  7. If you look at most definitions of 'conspiracy'...in the realm of public office they revolve around concepts like "a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose " Now from studying politics for over 5yrs , we spend most of our time trying to work out why policy decisions were made. And you know what, its based on what we are told by the 'actors' involved (when do politicians tell the truth or not spin stuff) and studies of what happened. But guess what , there is a reason why people donate to politicians...and it's not benevolence...there is a reason why specific folks from a young age get progressed through the 'system' to get into specific jobs (they might look different but their mind and actions are of the system that produced them)...of course there is collusion, co ordination and agreements behind closed doors...but to make that open would collapse the 'system'. To the folks involved in the system it is a 'game', and they get off on you the pleb not knowing that. To say that there isn't 'agendas' is delusional. For example in most big mega businesses they have plans for 1, 3, 5, 10 and 25yrs (the long range stuff is worked on my the CEO, CFO and chairman level)...to think that governments and super national bodies like the world Bank don't have similar planning is unlikely .

  8. Someone who commits to neither Left nor Right. Centrists would argue it is balance, whereas in actual practice it is inaction that has an unavoidable tendency to lean towards Leftist ideals, in my opinion.

  9. sorry to hear this bro! I understand, as a Sikh we shouldn't believe in a caste system. people still believe in a caste because they have been living in a society which believe in a caste system for a long period of time. I know its wrong but as a parents, they think that their society will not accept it and they will have to face a lot of embarrassments in a society on everyday basis. As a Sikh we try and do everything Guru's way but there are certain things we do our own way and we still consider ourself as a Sikh. similarly older generation maybe aware of this caste system issue but they still stuck with it and doing it their own way. note:- keep your focus clear and do not get distracted with these issues and I am sure you will find someone soon. chardi kala.

  10. Message to all UK Sikhs: Please find some sense of self-worth that doesn't involve projecting our community as some sort of dimwitted, sepoys for outsider communities. We need to move away from this now. It's actually doing us lots of harm, because it reinforces this docile, perpetually loyal image that we need to shake off.

  11. That is one of the reasons the Military-Industrial Complex don't like Trump, he didn't start any new wars!

  12. She's no different to war criminal Barack Obama. The man who started wars in Libya and Syria and was then given the Nobel Peace Prize. Their skin colour allows them to get away with this, if a white person had done what Obama did he would have been ridiculed like George Bush was. Say what you will about Trump but he at least hasn't invaded a new country and things seem to be relatively calmer in the middle east.

  15. What is deemed as Democrat and Republican is seen as right wing and left wing. However, compared to the UK politics both parties are more deemed to be on the right of the politic spectrum. There are things which are seen as 'right' values that align with Sikhi and there are values on the 'left' that align with Sikhi.

  16. Business is business. The powers that be remain power whichever government is in power. If you think about it, the extremes of both sides of the political spectrum are exactly the same. It is not linear, it's circular.

  17. It looks like Lord Indarjit Singh from the one man Network of Sikh Organisations was invited and got a cold and didn't event. Whether you support Sikh representation at this event of not, we need to consider that these images are sent all over the commonwealth as well as around the world. Sikh representation also irks the Indian establishment because separate Dikh representation shows that Sikhism is accepted as a seperate religion. The problem now is that one man who usually hogs all the limelight when it comes to Sikhs in the media or government didn't think to have another Sikh attend in his place if he was unwell. This is the sort of attitude that is prevalent in these kind of situations with Sikhs. One Sikh does not want another to take his place incase his own position is threatened. Lord Singh is 88 years old and yet in a 500K community there was no other Sikh who could be found to represent us. Shows the sad state of our community and the people who think that only they should be representing us.

  18. Such a beautiful experience.. thanks for sharing.. When I was young, I used to read Sukhmani Sahib.. My mom used to tell me..Sukhmani Sahib is the key to all Sukhs.. and I had full faith in it..I used to do it for my studies... I was and I am little selfish , always asking somthing for these materialstic life but I can only ask my Wahgeuru for these things... One day, my Nana ji got really sick and was admitted in the hospital, ICU.. He had a heart attack.... We got a call from my Mama ji and we were really upset.. My mom was crying but at that moment, I left from there and went to my room to do Sukhmani Sahib. I was scared too but I finished my Sukhmani Sahib Paath. Rigth after that, I went to see my mom, Mom was happy and told me that Nana ji was doing much better and spoke with mom on the phone as well... Next day, we went to see Nana ji, he was doing good..few days later, we went out with Nana ji to some market, Gurudwara and had good time.. Waheguru dee mehar naal Tumhey Chod koi aur na Dhyaouu..Jo bar chaou so tum tey Paouu... sorry for the spelling mistakes Sangat Ji... Waheguru

  19. Before posting this article, did you take the following in to account: It took Guru Ji and the sangat a month to reach from Gwalior to Sri Amritsar Sahib. They went to Lahore first and punished Chandu. The day they all arrived at Sri Amritsar Sahib, sangat had lighted devas (oil and wick). The night was illuminated by the light from the devas. The Sikh sangat did not celebrate Diwali as per the events of Ramyan. Sikhs celebrated the home coming of their Guru. If the two days fall on the same day, then that does not mean that Sikhs celebrate the events of Ramayan...
