when one takes amrit, ''the panj pyarey tell them to put there kirpan over there body, and remove any jewellaery, being it rings, pins, nail polish etc. then we were told our kakkars are our jewellery''.

. . . follow it if you want, and dont follow it if you dont want to, however the rehit is given.

we're also told that we're only to wear chola and no pajama... so does that mean you only wear a chola everyday of your life and everywhere you go? (not just directed at you, i'm sayin that generally)... we're not even allowed to shawls or anything in with us... does that mean we can't wear shawls in the darbar hall either?

btw.. i wasn't told my kakkars are my 'jewellery'... i were jus told they are my kakkars and are 'limbs' of my body and never to be removed...
