SGPC and RSS published a book full with disrespect of Sikh Guru Sahib's and false history

Recommended Posts

Yes, it is . And it is on going political move by RSS to publish this book with the help of Badal and his followers to distort the very core of Sikhi. But---

Now question should be asked of the people who are trying to discard the issue and put it under the carpet by saying that it is just an other piece of political rhetoric; do they endorse that which has been written in that book?

They(RSS) cannot distort sikhi and its history, most of our Pracharaks do it for them.

Mainly who says close your eyes and do waheguru simran, do 40 sukhmani sahib paath.

Guru ji ordered burning of masands etc. List is very long.

The main lot who really never read entire baani and believe everything blindly which is said to them

are doing most of the damage to sikhism.

HAVE WE LOST ALL SENSE OF RESPECT FOR SIKHI AND CALL AN ATTACK ON OUR GURUS "It's all politics..."

First it is Mahan Beadbi huge error by our institution and heads should roll if such person/author works for them. Secondly, such issues will be taken by people who care less about beadbi part but more of settling political scores.

Whatever the issue is, it should always go straight to akal takht (independent of SGPC) and then give them time of day or two to act before going to non-Sikh owned media.

The attack on Sikhs by the RSS and Nakali Baba with their Babas canot be dismissed as poltics. We must not be critical of some people and then let others attack Sikhs and stay silent just because they have political agreements with Badal.

One of the worts BJP/RSS types is Laxmi Kanta Chawala who is an MLA from Amritsar (Yes Amritsar) who attacks Sikhs on a regular basis. She supports Bluestar and Police Officers who killed Sikhs , such as Sawarn Ghotna recently. She refuses to speak Punjabi and often mocks Sikh,s but is left alone as she is an 'ally' of Badal.

Moreover this issue is raised by comman sikhs and you DasamGranthSarbloh ji says its politics.

I am not interested in politics. But the person who is involved in it, baldev sirsa, is a politician whose main aim is to discredit SGPC.Why does he not raise this issue with akal takhat? Baldev sirsa party is in alliance with Sarnas.

What is wrong with Naam simran? It is essence of sikh teachings.Missionaries top list of masands and we should start from there.

Whatever the issue is, it should always go straight to akal takht

going to non-Sikh owned media.

The matter was taken up with the SGPC first. The SGPC did not want to investigate it to find out how this book was and who had this book published. After that the matter was brought before the Akal Takht. But Akal Takht did not want to do any thing either. So, S. Baldev Singh Sirsa, filed the complaint with the Gurdwara Judicial Commission in 2007. In 2013 (after 6 years) the commission judge refused to hear the case. Most of the TV channels serving Punjab are owned by either the Hindu right wing peoples or by the Badals. The channel that broadcast ‘Day and Night News’ seems like the only TV channel which may have agreed to broadcast this.

Whatever the issue is, it should always go straight to akal
takht (independent of SGPC) and then give them time of day or two to act
before going to non-Sikh owned media.

The matter was brought before the Akal Takht. But it was just dismissed in off hand. It is worth noting that now a days the head of Akal takht is appointed by Badals and the SGPC. So at this point there is no Akal Takht independent of SGPC. If you folks know of a Sikh institution in Punjab/ India that is independent of Badal please, let others know of it so that the matters like this can be referred to it. I am sure that Bhai Baldev Singh Sirsa would appreciate it you can send your suggestions what other ways are open to pursue this matter. He is spending his own resources. Now he is thinking of appealing to High Court as he does not think that the AkalTakht is going to look at this matter any more.

.

And that channel represents Congress. Sarna is a camp follower of congress. It takes some issues that are not factuals.

Do not you think that they were doing greatest beadbi and breaking back of sikhi by disallowing kirtan of bani of Dasam pita in delhi Gurudwaras. Please listen to this kirtan of Bhai Balbir singh ragi

1. Its not about our interest its about history. He raised the question. SGPC is now getting history rewritten If they are not questioned they might come out with some more blunder.

2. Naam Simran is 24*7 concept. Start from missionaries make the show alive.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
