Saw the movie and i praise the efforts of film makers. Uhna di himat ya to take on such project. It is extremely high risk to create such movie and that too in punjab. Other movie makers dont have guts to create such movie.

Also, if you see kartar's character in the movie, you will note how deeply he is connected to this because of the fact that he and his family went thru the evil deeds of punjab police.

Sadda Haq goes viral

Banned on the eve of its release on April 5 by the Punjab government for the sake of "communal harmony", Sadda Haq has gone viral on YouTube. It is based on militancy era in Punjab. A team of officers led by the chief secretary found some of its dialogues, scenes and a song objectionable. The filmmakers, who earlier said they would move court against the ban, have now written to the Akal Takht to get the ban revoked. Incidentally, it was the SGPC that had helped the controversial film get the green signal from the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal after the censor board had refused to release it.
