It looks like the RSS has shamed the SGPC into getting off their backsides and doing something to counter the Christian missionaries. The story below the title of which is incorect and if anything these preachers will be doing the exact thing that the RSS are doing.

I knew a guy who now lives in Canada who was brought over by some Christian Missionary group from Punjab, they used to push for him to convert, they even had a driver to come and take him to church.

But he stayed Sikh. He used them to emigrate.

The most effective way to stop these conversions from a temporal, pragmatic perspective is to cut the funding from these NGO's. You cut out the money, you prevent their operations.

It seems that this Christianity conversion business is like a welfare system. People are being duped into free food, free education etc etc and they become dependent on them, this is how drug dealers operate. What happened to the Sikh work ethic?

Some more news about the Ghar Wapsi in Punjab.

It looks like the Akalis don't want to upset the Christians in Punjab in order that they can get their votes.

Apart from the Evangelicals, Christianity is pretty much dead in the west. This is why all the churches are looking to Africa and Asia for new converts to keep the church in business.

Ghar Wapsi seems to the in thing now, Even the Buddhists are getting in on the act and converting Hindus, Muslims and Christians to Buddhism in Maharashtra.

It seems strange that when Sikhs convert to Christianity, then these snakes say it is okay, but if Christians re convert to Sikhi then it is 'forced'

The missionaries have been converting the tribals of the north eastern states for many decades and I was reading a report about a section of these tribals who after the became Christians then found out that their ancient rites and rituals very similar to the those of the Jews in the old testament. Even the early Christian missionaries in the 19th century had remarked on this. So when a few years ago a Jewish organisation for Israel started a 'ghar wapsi' programme for these tribals called Bnei Menashe to bring them back to Judaism, the missionaries complained to the authorities that these acts were anti-national!! Exactly the same charge that the Hindus make against the missionaries converting Hindus to Christianity!
