Namdharis Coming Back Into Panth

I'm not saying that Naamdharis don't get along with others. I'm saying Raj Academy doesn't get along with others and that they are overflowing with ego.

If I recall correctly Prof. Surinder Singh has many problems with others and many people have problems with him.

Many people within Gurmat Sangeet just look down on others...and they look down on other people within Gurmat Sangeet as well.

It's a very complicated story. If you search around on the internet/forums/videos, you will see information regarding this.

I personally have major respect for Prof. Surinder Singh and Raj Academy....but the information out there cannot be denied either. I keep an open mind on things like this.

To begin with he's a self proclaimed Prof. but that's a whole different topic :biggrin2:

Do naamdharis believe that Guru Gobind Singh ji didn't leave for sachkhand, and that he escaped the cremation at Hazur Sahib and nominated another guru! ?    And another guru of theirs escaped to Europe and he's been living there for centuries! ?    do naamdharis believe this or is that another sect?

Anyone know more about the Sindhi Hindus? I think a lot of Sindhi Hindus were Nanakpanthis and within the fold of Sikhi, but then they all merged into mainstream Hinduism. Was watching a cooking show on one of the Asian channels and a Sindhi Hindu lady came on and she made some Sindhi food. She also made what she called kra prashad, which obviously wasn't actual prashad, and she mentioned that its a part of Sikhi but is also a part of Hindu Sindhi culture because of the influence.

Because of the persecution some Sindhi Hindus in Pakistan are becoming Sikhs, they say as Sikhs their situation is better in Pakistan, they then face less discrimination. It was on the BBC.

Naamdharis emerged just because of that. However, they came about way later (I think about during the British Raaj or the end years of the Sikh Raaj). Basically, what you have mentioned is correct. They have the audacity to say Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj hid from his Sikhs and lived well up into his 100s, going under the name of Baba Ajpal Singh. They believe that Baba Ajpal Singh gave Guruship to their leader.
