I am getting mssages from Hindu fanatic that God of Guru Gobind Singh ji is Shiva . He claims that in chupai shahib it states "khao maha dev sadah shiv . I need help to answer him back . Plzzzzzzz post on this topic .

When reading Chandi Di Vaar you should be standing and holding a shastar in your hand. Big or small it does not matter. You could also do it sitting but then you must place your shastar in front of you. It should be read at amritvela and before the sun sets. I like to read path with a jot as a big light is usually to bright. You should use a toof for good smell. You can sit on a blanket which is laid out on floor or a bed. This is an early piece by the author: ਕਲਦਾਰ ਰੂਪ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਨਵੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਰਣਜੀਤਪੁਰ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਕਲਦਾਰ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਲਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਲਦਾਰੀ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਨ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਲਦਾਰ ਸੱਦਦੇ ਨੇ। ਕਈ ਕਲਦਾਸ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਨੌਕਰ ਸਮਝਦੇ। ਆਮ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਆਦਮੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਮੈਂ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਦ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਮਕਸਦ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਇਨਸਾਨ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਲੋਕ ਮੌਜ-ਮਸਤੀਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਮਾਲਿਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਕਲਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰੱਖ ਲਿਆ। ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਓਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਔਖੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਖਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਕਾਰਖ਼…

I have heard this by 2 sikhs till now.... Guru Gobind Singh ji were helped by muslims also , though many tyrants were muslims at that time . Peer Buddh shah , Nabi Khan & Gani Khan , I think the list is endless ...! This apparent "hate" thing can be applied similarly to hindus since they broke their oaths on cow and counting hindus as enemies of khalsa - the list is also long !

A King named Suraj (Sun) had eight sons. The youngest of the eight named ‘Shani’ (Saturn) was from his second queen. He was black, ugly and lazy. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing.
