I want to know why a man who fought for Sikh rights and home land is not respected in Sikh community ? Why Sikhs have negative views about Master ji . Please go through this book and you will know what he did for the panth http://www.scribd.com/doc/36619916/Master-Tara-Singh-Souvenir-1981, its time we should start repecting the man who raised his voice against injustice and discrimination .

This is not about caste or anything like that. Just wanted to know which Sikh groups/communties. ie such as Khatris/ Rajputs did the majoriry of fighting against the mughals and during what periods? Did these different Sikh communities work together back then or were we divided even during the times of the Gurus?

Looking through historical paintings related to Punjab, in general, and Sikhs, in particular, I have encountered a turban style that looks like the patkas/keskis that small kids war but also has some similarities with dumallas. This style can be seen from very early Sikh paintings of the Gurus and also in late British paintings. The turban helmet of the Sikhs was also based on this style. I think that it stopped being used in the 1850s because the triangular shaped turban; that actually had developed as a cover for the smaller turbans; became immensely popular.

Fuhrer Adolf Badal using the police to suppress peaceful protests is absolutely disgraceful behavior. Badal's reign of terror over the last 3 months: -Over a dozen cases of beadbi of Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. -Arresting all sikh leaders which are not agents of the CBI or RSS. -Placing other prominent sikh leaders under house arrest. What's next? Will the turban wearing brahmin start murdering all Amritdhari youth of Punjab? It has gotten to the point of Beant's reign of terror in the 90s. Dhan Sache Patshah...I realize this is all happening in your hukam but it is heart breaking seeing this happen again to our panth.

VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH The leaves to make Shaheedi Degh - what exact cannabis is it? There is the bred for recreational use marijuana strain, which has a very high THC content; and there are some cannabis, of which some varieties have a very low THC contact and a much higher CBD content. Why ask, you say? CBD also seems to have medicinal properties without the high and THC...well, gets you high, but also seems to have medicinal properties. If the Nihung Singhs are using specific varieties of cannabis that are bred or known to have low THC and high CBD, there may be more to their use of cannabis that meets the eye for health reasons and may promot…

One of our favourite members..... "Surrey Singh" - Bhupinder Singh is getting married this upcoming Saturday, in SURREY, BC. And on his behalf, (and sort of with his permission) this is an invitation to anybody and everybody to show up. There's 2 events that everyone is invited too. First, a keertan this upcoming Thursday evening at Gurdvara Amrit Parkash at 123A St. and 80th Ave. And then, the actual wedding itself of course. Which is at Gurdvara Singh Sabha on 132nd St. Besides these 2 events, the other major event going on this coming week is the annual December Akhand Keertan Samagam at Khalsa School, which runs all weekly long from TONIGHT to the rainsbhaee this…

Hi, I am a fan of Khuswant Singh, but am not writing this topic to prevtn crticism he getting. I'm writing this so i can think, you can think and we all can think. HIs recent novel, Delhi was crticized by some organization called Shahbaaz Khalsa. I just red it at Panthic heres what they wrote:- And these are excerpts:- I personally red almost all books and novels by him and found nothing wrong, he says whats true, without polishing it. He writes open minded and leaves his readers to conclude. Do you think this is wrong what he wrote, a typical human who believes in "Equality for Everyone" would happen to say YES, What do you say?
