waheguru sadh sangat jee this is a general warning to everybody that you should please just be cautious when you are in conversations with sangat who says they are in the "risk of being converted to islam or hinduism" and they need your support and personal guidance. some of these people, in fact most of those people do IN FACT require your help however there are a FEW who may have a shady character and may actually be non-sikhs, even malicious (anti)Hindus and (anti)Muslims who are trying to deceive you in the name of their religion (which they themselves are not following by being dishonest). I found an American student looking again and again at me when we were attending our first math class there. Next week, when I was waiting outside the classroom for the bell to ring, the student came to me and said, “Hello.” When I answered him, he surprised me by asking a totally unexpected question, “Are you a Sikh?” After a moment’s silence, I said “Yes.” The bell rang and we went to the class. When he met me again, he was very respectful to me and asked, “My father wants to talk to you. Can you…

http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/discussion....30?OpenDocument We are young Sikhs in France. Some of us go to school and some have started higher education. We wear patkas or small dastaar. This has been allowed by the schools that we go to. We are very grateful for the support many of you have given us including the petitions. We do not feel alone anymore. But it is our humble appeal that please ask us what form of letter and petition should be posted. There is a danger some of the well intentioned petitions and letters and statements will in fact harm us and may even deprive us of the privileges we enjoy at the moment. Our intention and our desire is to be able to wear …
