The Muslim community is hosting an Interfaith Conference on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the University of British Columbia, Canada. It will take place in the Hebb Theatre from 6:30 – 10 p.m. The event will feature speakers from 6 different religions speaking on the concept of God according to their religion. i m not sure, but someone told me that false teeth and glasses are wrong in sikhi, they're not natural and should not be a part of old age, he said he heard it at our local gurdwara. can someone confirm this or prove it to be false.

I went to the gurdwara sahib yesterday and picked up the newspaper on the way out. Now i understand that newspapers need sponsorships and without them there would be no newspapers but this newspaper had liqour stores adds. Now i'm sure they could've found alternate source of income.... is'nt that sick?
