Lies Breaking Up My Relationship With Family Member
by Guest Need_Advice- 7 replies

What would you do if someone in your family (e.g. brother in law or sister in law) was lying about you to someone in your family (e.g. your sister or your brother) and your sister/brother believed the lie to be true? This is my situation and it has destroyed my relationship with my immediate family member. We do not speak and act like strangers. That person now does not trust me and thinks of me badly. It is making me so sepressed that I am starting to fall into a state of mind where I am starting to blame myself. I have no support from other members of my family, they all get along with the 'liar' fine in order to avoid any further conflict. The liar will never admit t…

I need some advice about my brother, he recently got dumped by his girlfriend and has become obessed about getting revenge agaisnt the guy who caused it. The problem is ever since he started going out with her he detached himself from the family, he doesnt eat with us, sit with us, clean, do chores or get a job. He's in his late teens and just sits at home all day or on MSN. We sent him to relatives in another city aswell but there he is the same...if not lazier and they couldnt handle him. Every other week he goes out and gets <Edited> now (he's Keshdhari!); he says hes lost faith in Sikhi because he only asked for one thing and that is his relationship with his …

Sleeping And Reciting 1 2

Might be a wierd question but it is something that I thought about after it had happened. Sometimes (when I say sometimes, I mean like maybe once every 5-6 months), when I'm asleep I kinda wake up. I'm still asleep, my body is still asleep, I know I'm still asleep. I know of nothing around me. I don't whether it's day or night outside or anything but I'm awake. Wierd to explain - bit like a lucid dream when you know you're dreaming and you can start to control it, except on these occasions, I'm not dreaming. Any way, I'm asleep and awaken gradually whilst still in my sleep. As I wake up whilst still asleep, I find my mind reciting Japji sahib. It's wierd, it's like a ta…

I have seen the recent trailers of this movie. After seeing the trailers , it seems what is trying to depict is a low brain sikh girl( played by karishma kapoor ) have a love with monay hero. At the song dance sequence. Monay hero is dancing in front while sikhs are dancing behind this hero. What this film depict to our youth 1>Only monay can become hero. No sikh can become hero 2>Sikhs are low brain people. They think less and can do any stupid work.( They way the heroine boost of I am sikhni of batinda) SO what will our youth think?? I will not blame them of they will try cut their hairs to try become heros. And sikhs girls wanting them to do so. It is …

http://www.sikhspectrum.com/022005/syl_msa.htm I was reading the above article. Can Punjab take this case at international level (UNO) basis that Centre have used Unconstitutional mean to allow water from Punjab to diverted.( no flow) to non-riparian state like Haryana & Rajasthan. Have we been independent country. Under International law, no one could have force us to share water with Neighbouir non--riparian countries. Ony Riparian in nature can claim water. ( India –Pakistan example) While Punjab is forced to share its water, Haryana did not alwo yamuna water to share with punjab. Exactly for the reason that Punjab have no longer claim …

I only trim my moustache because I just feel nasty if it isn't trimmed. Like when I eat it just gets in the way. When my moustache is very short I feel so clean and wonderful. I don't care if my dhari is long because it doesn't get in the way. I know trimming is against sikhism, but can anyone offer another solution? Thanks!

Sarpanch, Some Suggestion In Future Debate
by Guest Guest- 1 reply

Sarpanch, I did hear yesterday debate program in akash radio( ban the RSS in uk). In discussion debate, the best way is to argue and not get angry. I could see, you were losing calm on some occasions( jp singh raising point of only congress govern state get 1984 riots , Calcutta example he gave was good. You should have said. Communist do not allow right wings getting hold in Bengal) . And second time with this person you mention claiming , his saving by rss neighbour( through his brother & nephew get killed in 1984). At that you did argue well by showing him not to hate anyone, ( Muslims etc). Actually in the start of the program …
