They def censor comments as i always find my comments changed and at times they don't even authorise them. I don't even bother writing comments now as they only appear to allow comments that are in like with "their" version in Sikhi.

Dare I say there's parallels between the covert character assassination of the Native American at the hands of the the white American powers-that-be, and the way in which the classic image of the Sikh has been subverted by the Indian government (in terms of Bollywood) over the years, i.e. the portrayal of Sikhs as bumbling, hot-headed, kirpan-wielding simpletons whose only contribution to a situation is a jakaara and a charge into oblivion, or in recent years nothing more than a supporting act and / or comic relief. Haha true. I have written in the comment section of their site. When I used to comment on their site I noticed that when my comment was posted, it would be edited and even changed! It's mostly good articles on the site, but the problem with these types of sites is that they should just stick to their social or political issues. Hardly any of them is religious yet they like to stick their nose in religious matters as well as if they think they know something about the issue. Most of these Dunda and Darshan Lal supporters hardly have any knowledge. I have just met one knowledgeable Kala Afghana supporter in my life. There are a couple of clubs in birmingham just go here to search your area - http://www.archerygb.org/support/clubs/club_finder.php they are usually really friendly and you can take young kids too as long as they are over 8 for beginners they will provide you with equipment and help you get started. you can also setup a short range at home, but would only recomend this if you are experienced and have the correct environment as long as you buy a big boss target, and place it on the floor so your shooting downwards and have enough clearance behind and to the sides should be OK - theres not many back gardens that could accomodate this though, have to be very careful. and just use light poundage bows. my son is 7 and shoots a childs compound bow, he absolutely loves it. archery is an awesome, really relaxing and fun

I would love to take up archery again. As a kid I was taught how to make my own kit, including recurve bows using steam bending (or rebending to be more precise). Back then I had bags of time and the space. I think I'd find joining a club too restrictive and not justify the committment in terms of time these days. Ideally buying a nearby woodland plot would be fantastic. The problem with the UK is the lack of open space, even in the countryside. I don't think that is not such an issue in places like Canada at all.

We've been heading towards this for AGES. We may as well try and open a new Gurdwara that doesn't operate along the traditional 'fault lines' of the community. I'm shocked no one tried this before. To be honest I'm undecided as to whether you are genuine or not. Recently there have been a few similar threads in this section where rather than seek professional help like approaching a doctor, individuals expect some Divine solution through Gurbani or Shabads as if they are mantras for certain solutions like this? Currently I have a prolonged illness which causes crippling daily pain, but which will eventually be sorted out by my surgeon. In the meantime reading more Gurbani is comforting for me and genuinely removes my pain in those moments when I do recitations. My Guru is my comfort blanket, just like a small child seeking comfort in the embrace of its mother. But you should not expect more beyond that - your solution lies elsewhere as has been pointed out by others - get over yourself and see your doctor. The fact is its not just a once in while night emission that some pubescent boys have. What you are saying is not normal and is not common. You say that you actually remove several knots in your sleep so that you then commit onanistic acts. Either you are quite pre-meditated and thus delusional that this just so happens in your sleep and are seeking some redemtion from this site, or you have have a rare sleep disorder. So please pluck up (or rather man-up) some courage and see your doctor. I just hope you have not come on here to make up some kur-kahani and then getting some wierd kick out of the responces.

I keep hearing people say stuff like, "do paath and remember vaheguru, and vaheguru will give you anything you want" When I used to go to the gurdwara, as an example, I used to think, "Please vaheguru, let me do well in school, on my exams. If I do well, I'll become a better person blah blah" Basically I was always asking for things. Over time I started realizing that its kinda greedy/selfish of me to always be asking for things. As I got older, the only thing I really think to myself is being thankful for everything I have. And that theres people out there who have much worse situations than me. So instead of asking vaheguru to help me do well on exams or whatever else I have to do, I started being thankful that I have the opportunity to go to school, and everything else that I have.(Just an example) Anyways, this was just a random thought in my head, something that I realized over years. Just curious what other people's thoughts are.

I've only ever heard them (and Sant Isher Singh Ji Rarewale, who were also mentioned) say that Krishan Ji was a 16 Kala Avtaar and that Guru Sahib, was sarab (all)-kalaa, being Waheguru themselves. Of course, in reality Atma is Parmatma - and we are really atma, not body or sooksham body. In that respect even we are really God. But we are bound by karam at the moment. Since the avtaars were sent to perform a duty, once that was complete then Waheguru may have just made them one with 'Himself' again; and sent them back when 'He' willed etc. Rab janne. its for the elderly that cannot sit on the floor. there are lots of these types of people. bham has 2 tables,one in each corner for the elderly. when they (bham) open the back langar hall, it is all table and chairs. this is because of the masses of sangat that come (mainly over the weekend in bham). one may argue that >why dont they just sit on the floor< the immediate answer is that the flow of seva is better when one doesent have to bend down too far. so sangat will be served more efficiently. He’s practiced law in Delhi before he was elevated to the High Court. Lawyers and Courts in Delhi are smarter than the lawyers and Courts in our northern region. Delhi being cosmopolitan, the lawyers and judges fraternity is more aware about the human rights movement, internationally. I am sad here in our region the lawyers and judges don’t know the ABC of human rights, the Magna Carta, the American and French revolutions, the Vienna Conference of 1815, the Geneva Conventions, League of Nations, the UN charter or the Human Rights conventions, statutes and treaties. Happily though all these laws are directly or by implications included in Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Indian Constitution, our lawyers and judges haven’t read this major shift from a totalitarian state to a humane, welfare state where the citizen has inalienable rights to life liberty and freedom which the state can’t take without “the procedure laid down by law”, I quote article 21 of the Indian Constitution and all constitutions of free democracies have the meaning if not the words preserve the life, liberty and freedom of their citizens. Now in Chandigarh it was reported to Justice Uma Nath Singh that an advocate of the High Court one Tahar Singh took perverse pleasure in torturing his wife. It was reported by the wife to Judge Singh that her husband Tahar Singh also threw her into a river and asked her to swim back. Besides that he tortured her daily. This wayward and absurd behaviour pricked the conscience of this Judge and he ordered that he be sent to the Lunatic Asylum in Agra and got examined for his mental imbalance. Promptly the whole High Court Bar went on a strike and served notice to the Chief Justice Mr. Jain, who has been appointed to this high seat under very peculiar and suspicious circumstances, who immediately appointed a special bench of judges who promptly sat late into the night and stayed Mr. Tahar Singh being taken for a medical check up to ascertain his mental equilibrium. The Bar has further decided to boycott the court of Justice Uma Nath Singh. The last time in this very High Court when Justice Roy was the Chief Justice the whole fraternity of judges went on a strike because Justice Roy had checked the waywardness and corrupt practices of the Judges who are supposed to dispense justice free of cost or asking for favours. Now my advise to all wives who suffer cruelty by their husbands or whose husbands are in the habit of throwing their wives into rivers should refrain from approaching Justice Uma Nath Singh, lest they offend the members of the Bar and bestir Chief Justice Jain from his easy pace so that he doesn’t have to constitute a special bench. One of the judges on that bench Justice Surya Kunt who dispenses injustice to Sikhs, promptly activated himself in giving a stay to Mr. Tahar Singh. Bharatinder Singh Chahal who was sodomized by the police, while in police custody was called by Justice Uma Nath Singh to the High Court and asked to narrate how he was tortured. Chahal broke down and was ashamed to recount in an open court how he was tortured and humiliated. So Justice Uma Nath Singh asked him to write down the entire ordeal and hand over the paper to the Court’s secretary. Hopefully Chahal will get justice. My advise to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is not to lecture the Australian’s on human rights and justice. Sardar Manmohan Singh should set his sights on cleaning his Augean stables. Chahal is from Sardar Manmohan Singh’s own political party and since our party is dagger’s drawn with the Congress party since 1984, Sardar Manmohan Singh should do better in looking after his flock, rather than leave minding his flock to us. His party leader’s Ms. Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Mr. Shamsher Singh Dullo are in cahoots with Mr. Badal who is on a vendetta drive with his political rivals. Mr. Amarinder Singh, has returned from Kathmandu and London where he went on feigned visits. He did no historical research in Kathmandu or got himself treated for illness in London. All his life he has run away from his responsibilities. Every one knows what trouble he has in his heart. It’s more metaphorical than physical. All, the doctors told him in England was that the was over weight by sixteen kilo’s much like the Empress of Blanding’s Castle of the P.G. Wodehouse world. Sleep, Sleep the Prime Minister, let torture, extra-judicial killings, sodomy, disappearances and maiming’s of the Sikhs, the Muslims, the Dalits and the Christians be the hall mark of your ruthless and wicked regime.
