There over 800 pages with a photo gallery, 100's of witness statements and a full library. There are many new articles from the last 10 years with recent information and discoveries of genocide and mass graves. The library contains comprehensive information on Crimes Against Sikhs (Crimes Against Humanity), State Terrorism and Sikh Genocide with associated articles, books and reports. There is a list of persons killed with a map showing locations of victims and police stations. India needs you to keep silent. Learn the Truth. http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikh_genocide/1984_delhi_genocide.html We leave it to the Sangat to decide how to use the information.

  3. Waheguru Ji ka khalsa waheguru Ji ki fateh. I am visiting punjab at the moment. I will list the following issues: Youth are quite messed up (sleep around etc) and have multiple Partners. There is a big drug problem along with prostitution. Lack of effective parchaar. People here have a different mentality maybe because they need money for everything (healthcare, education etc. Resulting in becoming corrupt. Life does not have much value here. Animals like dogs are wandering the streets sifting through waste. There is no waste collection and people just dump the rubbish. too many beggars. You need to know someone here to do shopping, travel etc. I find it difficult for future generations for wanting to come here. Will punjab improve or continue to sink? Do we blame the government?

  4. The crazy thing in the story is the in all likelihood the lady did not convert by choice but was forced to convert and hence the reason why she had to be sent to India under the agreement against abducted women between the two governments. What that lady suffered in Pakistan was no different to what lakhs of others suffered and what the Yazidis are suffering today.

  7. That's exactly what they are. In all of India, they are not allowed to preach or else it will cause riots. So even many state governments all over India have put restrictions on missionary activity. Punjab is the only non Christian place in India where they are not persecuted because Sikhs don't let Hindus do anything to them. And look how these Christians thank Sikhs, they target Sikhs of all people. In fact they are not even targeting Hindus in Punjab. They only target the Sikh community

  9. Last Updated: Friday, 5 December, 2003, 13:31 GMT E-mail this to a friend Printable version Reunion heals partition wounds By Zulfiqar Ali BBC correspondent in Muzaffarabad Harbans Kore hugs daughter Zeenat Bibi at the reunion A 77-year-old Indian woman who has had two homelands, two husbands and two religions has finally brought her family together after decades of separation. "My wish was to see my children again once in my lifetime and my wish has come true," said Harbans Kore at the family reunion in Pakistan. Ms Kore, a Sikh, had travelled from the Indian city of Ahmedabad to meet the Muslim son and daughter she had not seen for more than 40 years. Ms Kore's story began at the time of the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan in 1947. She and her husband were Kashmiri Sikhs living in the village of Pataika, 16 kilometres (11 miles) north-east of Muzaffarabad in what is now Pakistan-controlled Kashmir. Tensions between Muslims and those Hindus and Sikhs still living in the area were such that after a few years Ms Kore's husband fled to India. I wish she could stay with us but she cannot because she has to go back. She has a family there also Zeenat Bibi, daughter She was left behind. Assuming the husband had gone forever, Ms Kore converted to Islam, marrying a Muslim man named Hadayatullah. Together they had a son, Manzoor Hussein Awan, and a daughter, Zeenat Bibi. But in the mid-1950s, Ms Kore was forced to leave for India under an agreement between Islamabad and Delhi to reunite women with their original families. That was when her separation from daughter Zeenat and son Manzoor began. In India, Ms Kore re-converted to Sikhism and had another two daughters and a son with her first husband. Telephone contact For many years, the members of the divided family did not know of each other's whereabouts or even if they were alive. Then seven years ago Zeenat, now 53, and her brother, 48, found out through a relative that their mother was still alive. Brothers in arms Dalveer Singh and Manzoor Hussein Awan "It was just two years ago that we were able to locate her telephone number and then we spoke by telephone, wrote letters and exchanged pictures," said Zeenat. The family wanted to meet immediately but heightened tension between the now nuclear rivals India and Pakistan prevented it. It was not until the recent thaw and the resumption of a bus service between the Pakistani city of Lahore and India's capital, Delhi, in July that their dreams were realised. Ms Kore finally crossed back into Pakistan last week, accompanied by her Sikh son, Dalveer Singh, and her daughter-in-law. They were greeted by Zeenat and Manzoor, along with grandchildren and other family members, at the Wagah border crossing. One of Ms Kore's Sikh daughters joined the reunion this week, along with the daughter's husband and own daughter. Ancestral village Ms Kore said: "It is lovely to see my children after all these years. I am lucky to see my son and daughter and my grandchildren again after such a long time and I feel so happy." Until seven years ago the divided family had had no contact Ms Kore and other family members are staying with her family in Muzaffarabad until the middle of December. But one person Ms Kore could not be reunited with was her Muslim husband - he died two years after she left for India. Ms Kore wants to show her ancestral village to her Indian children but is not sure if the authorities in Muzaffarabad will allow her to go there. Zeenat said: "We know how we suffered all these years and how badly we missed our mother. I wish she could stay with us but she cannot because she has to go back. She has a family there also." Her only other regret was that her mother could not attend the wedding of her son last October. She invited the family but they could not get the visas or bus tickets in time. Manzoor said of the reunion: "We have been deprived of our mother's love and affection for more than four decades and now we are so happy to meet our mother and family. "It is the first time in my life I have found this happiness. Everybody is happy - my wife, my children, my sister and every member of our family that we are together again." Have any people here got relatives in pakistan?

On January 26, 1950 Constitution of India was enforced without the consent of Sikhs who refused to sign it because Explanation II to Article 25(b) of the Constitution labels “Sikhs” as “Hindus”. January 26, 2015 marks the 65th year of Sikhs' struggle for right to self-determination, for which Sikhs have been subjected to “Genocide" with impunity, starting from: - June 1984, Military action against Golden Temple; - November 1984, Organized killing of over 30,000 Sikhs; and - 1984-98, Extra-judicial killing of over 100,000 Sikhs. 11. Sat Sri Akal, So I was just wondering...what is this word actually mean? I have seen my friends using this word "sullay" to refer to Muslims. By "why" use this word for Muslims? Does this have to do with the fact that Muslims are circumcized? Any explanation will be very helpful. I am just curious.

  12. What makes you think they were not with Vaheguru when on this Earth? Vaheguru is the Husband and the union of marriage happens with Guru Sahib's kirpa to be married with Vaheguru. No one is telling people to be crying their eyes out all day. It is a time of reflection for Sikhs. A time to understand Sikh history of the battles and sacrifice Sikhs and the Gurus made for the Khalsa Panth at this time. And not to stuff your face with food and drinks and gossip among the family and friends. It is no secret this is how punjabis spend their time on Christmas break. Sikhs complain, I have no time to dedicate time toward learning the deeper roots of Sikhi. Now at this time of the year the Sikh has time, but he is not interested in contemplating over Gurbani. Instead he is more interested in the maya of the world. Sit the kids down beside you and learn and teach the kids something about Sikhi. Instead of teaching them of Saint Nickolas. Give them the virtuous teaching of the 8th Guru dedicated his young age and life to the sick. Anyone can give a gift, but giving your life to Vaheguru has not been taught to Sikh kids or many parents. Parents have in their mind of their children growing up to be doctors, lawyers, engineers, other respected professionals. Never do parents say I want my children to be sacrificed as the Guru gave his children for my freedoms or let my child be dedicated to learn Gurbani from day one and become a Giani. The thinking is my kids can learn Gurbani when they grow up. Making Sikhi a part time job and becoming a professional a dream they live and breath all day for their kids.

  13. How exactly can Muslim Punjabi's be some kind of super race when 100 million Muslim Punjabi's see Prophet Muhammad as the ideal human being? Only Auzer, the Pakistani_Punjabi, PP02 thought his Arain (Kamboh) caste from Pakistani Punjab were superior to low down kaffirs because the Mughals brutally succeeded in converting 97% of his Hindu Arain caste ancestors by the power of the sword leaving only 3% of the Arain farmers as Hindu's and Sikhs by 1947. Can a pedophile and slaveowner be the ultimate role model mankind for mankind? Malang Badshah Ji i see that you are very educated about Islam. Why do you think 100 million Muslim Punjabi's who openly support pedophilia and slavery because the Holy Prophet Muhammad did those things himself should be looked up to for guidance or as humanity's future? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTeAB4l0KCM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWZWOF4Znvc http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/015-slavery.htm

  14. South Korea is an example we all can see right before our eyes of what happens when a people do not remain vigilant of these Christian missionaries. Today missionaries being funded by American churches are carrying out missionary activity all over Punjab. No where it is most visible than in Amritsar and Gurdaspur. At one time when you would wake up early in the morning in the villages you would hear Gurbani from the Gurdwara speakers, now you hear some Christian father competing with the Gurbani doing his own preaching on loud speakers. I was reading a book given written by a Indian Christian missionary named KP Yohannan about his life experience as a Christian missionary in India. What I get from reading this books is that one Christian missionary will train more, and then those missionaries in turn will train more Christian missionaries to spread Christianity all over India. It's like a pyramid scheme for these missionaries. While Hindus have fought back so missionaries have slowed down their activity in Hindu areas. Muslims are especially very vigilant about Christian missionaries. They also fight back. But Sikhs are still sleeping while these missionaries are coming to Punjab taking advantage of the security provided by the Sikhs.

That is astonishing! Just shows u, how slow our institutions are. I remember watchin an interview of a hindu, who was close friend of sant jarnail singh, who said, had sant ji carried on doing parchar as he was prior to bluestar to today, then all of haryana would of been sikh today!

  18. In that case what we need to do is a reverse Joshua Project job and get statistics for all the villages and districts and trace back which folk are converting to Christianity, what their social status is, why they converted, which churches/organisations converted them and how they did it. These churches compete with each other for numbers in terms of membership (both Abrahamic branches are membership based, which is why whenver you read an article about Islam they always like to mention how many muslims there are, couple of years ago it was 1.2 billion, now they say 1.5 billion, tomorrow it will be 2.5billion and in a couple of years they will be competing with rats, rabbits, ants and cockroaches to see who has the greater numbers).

  19. Christian missionary activity in Punjab is very alarming. In the rest of India, the Hindus attack them and use violence if they try to convert Hindus. So they don't dare to convert Hindus openly anymore. But Punjab, the Sikhs protected the Christians from Hindu attacks and the Christian missionaries took advantage of our Shirafat and hospitality and have now gone into shamelessly targeting Sikhs. Most of my relatives live in Amritsar and Gurdaspur and if you travel to villages there, you will be shocked to see how many people have become Christians. And these two districts were the epicenter of Sikh militancy at one time. The Hindu organizations who are conducting Ghar Vapsi, according to their statements this is targeting semitic religions of Muslims and Christians. Since they already consider Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists as Hindus, they are not targeting these three for conversion. While Sikhs should be worried and vigilant about RSS, but I don't even know a single Sikhs who has become a Hindu. But if you go to Punjab, you will see tens of thousands of former Sikhs who are now Christian, churches have sprung up everywhere. Then we have Izhar Alam(killer of Sikh youth) who is using his position to convert Sikhs to Islam. This should ring alarm bells in our heads but our organisations have all lost the plot since the fall of the Khalistan movement. Instead you see them losing sleep over Christians becoming Sikhs! Is there anything more laughable than this? If you want to see what Christian missionaries are capable of, look no further than South Korea. Before WW2, it was a Buddhist nation. After ww2, Christian missionaries took advantage of the hospitality of the Buddhists and went all over this Buddhist country unrestricted. Today South Korea is a Christian majority nation where Buddhists are now the minority. The Christians have now become so bold that they are now openly praying that Buddhist temples be destroyed on TV. This is the future of Punjab if we ignore these snakes any longer.

  21. Only some SGPC members in a personal capacity are working with the Ghar Wapsi scheme. This scheme should have been started by Sikhs with the aim to bring back any Sikhs who had converted to any other religion. In the past it was mostly the Hindu dalits that were targeted by the missionaries but nowadays the Sikh dalits are the one who are targeted. It is these Christians that are then becoming Sikhs, The ones who were Hindus before they became Christians are returning to Hinduism. It is a sad fact that the RSS can claim to bring back 8000 Christians back to Sikhi and our organisations have not done anything similar in this regard. Attack is the best form of defence, the Sikh organisations should be targeting even those Christians whose ancestors were converted in the 19th century. When the missionaries see that these Christians are being converted then they will rethink their activities.
    1 point
  22. The problem is that after the Christian missionaries were roughed up outside of Punjab in the late 90s they switched their activities to Punjab. Because there was no opposition to their activities in Punjab they have increased their activities. The sad fact is that rather than opposing the Christian missionaries the Sikh organisations have actually been helping them by criticising the Hindus who are opposing the missionaries outside Punjab. The missionaries even had the nerve to appeal to the Akal Takht for support against the attacks by Hindu organisations. The Sikh organisations need to wake up otherwise like what happened in the 1870s with the case of Arya Samaj the Sikh youth who are worried about the attacks on their religion by the Christians will start to join the Hindu organisations and the Sikh organisations will lose their relevance.

  23. So you deny the fact that several events do not occur for years and several occur twice a year in the Bikrami calendar? Why was there no Parkash Gurpurabh of Guru Gobind Singh in the years 1991 or 1993 for example? If you continue using the Bikrami Calendar, Vaisakh will fall in autumn in a few thousand years. Thats why Nanakshahi is deemed important by some. So isn't it better to have this Nanakshahi calendar with fix dates, where a gurpurab happens once a year and the seasons will not conflict with Gurbani over time? Secondly, you profusely mention Barah Maha. But do you know our Gurbani Barah Maha starts at Chet while the Bikrami Calendar ends at Chet? If you love Bani so much then why are you opposing the calendar that puts Chet as first month exactly like Bani does. I don't care about Missionaries or your phobia for them, I am talking facts. I am not even particularly pro Nanakshahi but just found it funny that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon without being properly informed. Before you attack me, missionaries are buddhus for questioning our Basic Gurmat Sidhaants and Guru Sahibaans power like sitting on tati tavi. But then again why not have a healthy discussion on the topic itself instead of whose promoting it. Because it might hurt but we have had RSS promote Dasam Bani too, does that negate Dasam Bani for you?

  24. Forcibly is not only physically, remember that. RSS is doing what Sikh Jathebandia should have been doing. Christian population of Punjab tripled in a decade but not a single Panthic jathebandi spoke up about it. Even now it is not too late to start the Sikh version of Ghar Vapsi. Singh Sabha movement converted thousands of Hindus and Muslims in the early 1900s, we need it back. Do you know that one of the main precursors to that movement was the decision of a few Sikh students to embrace Christianity? It caused such an uproar. Now thousands have left Sikhi and there is not a single jathebandi speaking about it. Look up on google and only the RSS has warned the Sikh community again and again in the past. I denounce RSS and its Hinduization of our independant and unflawed Path BUT credit should be given unbiasedly when (the enemy) deserves it.

  25. The institutions are not to be blamed. It is the mindset that nearly all Sikhs have: Sikhi believes that all religion lead to God. This one belief leads to many problems such as conversions, interfaith marriages and what this topic is about. Look at that guy giving an example of Guru Tegh Bahadur, what a lost mentality. RSS has been highlighting this issue since years. Whatever enmity they have with Sikhs, they have warned us time and time again to react to these conversions of Sikhs in Punjab. You can google RSS chief statements on the issue even years back. There was a Pastor Harbhajan Singh who forcibly converted 2800 Sikhs in his village and distributed leaflets demeaning the Gurus and Sikhi. He is no more but it shows how far they are willing to go. The dog Badal will keep appeasing minorities like Christians and Muslims which will eventually disturb the communal harmony in Punjab.

Its not r fault majority of that community creates tensions coz they cant stop bein paedophiles n have intolerance for proud kuffars like me. Also our 15% is insignificant yeah? Well it was good enough to kill 500k muslims in 4months back in 47. U lot were fortunate we didnt start earlier, like u lot did. Also future of panjab lies with muslim panjabis? U mean those who support the panjabi taliban/pak taliban? Intolerance of minorities? At a book festival in lahore in recent yrs, NOT ONE single book was in panjabi! Also at last pak elections, all state candidates spoke in their state languages (sindhi candidate in sindh, pashtun in tribal areas etc), yet the panjabi candidate (nawaz sharif), spoke in urdu, how come? Urdustan can kiss my ay double ess.

  29. VJKK VJKF, All the Basics of Sikhi Parchariks were present at the meeting in Birmingham on Friday 5th Dec. The working group of 7 people is currently chaired by Daas Jagraj Singh. Its main focus is Satkaar of SGGSji, Parchar and Gurdwara reform. I've been involved in doing the paperwork to get consultations with Sikh Council for a long term solution in the UK. In terms of Katha, this was the main topic of discussion at Karam Gurdwara Katha, Park Avenue Katha and The Why Guru Course. The compilation video of these three is being edited but was delayed as we're growing and have new people to train up. You're free to message us to ask and also its perfectly right that such issues be discussed publically. Thanks for your patience and understanding ji. VJKK VJKF
