The Gujjars of Punjab are part of the soil of Punjab and part of the natural history of Punjab. Never mind the fact that every village in Punjab also has a permanent settlement of gujjars on the outskirts of the village, the ones that come down seasonally from Kashmir have been doing so since ancient times. Since the beginning of Punjab, they have been coming down to the plains to sell their wares to the villagers. That, is part of the culture of Punjab. Lets face it, who apart from the gujjars still perform the stereotypical Punjabi sound of bakare balonh (bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah) ? The answer is no one for it is only the gujjars that still graze the goats en masse. I don't care that they're muslim and I don't care that have one foot in Punjab and one foot in Kashmir. As far as I'm concerned they are an integral and vital part of the social-history of rural Punjab. I will not join in with this right wing Hindu RSS type witchunt against them.

You are right, these Gujjars were an importan part of the social fabric of Punjab. But those were the indigenous Punjabi Gujjars who after partition migrated to Pakistan. These foreign J&K Gujjars were never part of the social fabric of Punjab. Many people like the Punjabi Rajputs and Arains who lived in large numbers in east Punjab are no more because they have all migrated to Pak Punjab. I'm not against Punjabi Muslims. Note how they Malekotla Muslims or the Ahmadi Muslims of Qadian didnt help the Dinanagar attackers. Only these foreign J&K Gujjars facilitated them in their attacks which had the potential to kill a lot of Punjabis.

I don't even know why someone buys milk from these J&K Gujjars. Very few people know this but these Gujjars spit in the milk they produce because it is their superstitious belief that by spitting in the milk they will save the milk from Nazer or evil eye. Next time you are in India, only buy milk from a Punjabi you know and trust.

Johnny paa, r u 100% convinced that gurdaspur attack was defo a muslim attack, n not a false flag R.A.W initiated attack? I mean, if ur gona do a 'terror attack', y not attack the airport, some big panjab govt buildings, plant big arse bombs at harmandar sahib etc? I mean all they did was attack a crappy bus, crappy police station etc. Fair enuff they wanted to do a train over too, but this all happening whilst the badals r cackin their pants over bapu surat singhs wave of influence, so to take the attention away frm panjabis, they do all this, very timed it seems. Dont ever put it past the indian govt to do many more false flags, theyre learning frm hitler and the usa, who have/had perfected false flag ops. Btw this doesnt mean we r makin excuses on behalf of paks, coz thats the last fing im interested in doin.

Dont put it past india to attack pakistan, by staging false flag attacks, attributed to paks, jus like operation shanti. Operation shanti was an operation planned to start war against pakistan in nov 84, after india would spread news in india that the sikhs have joined pakistan in invadin india, and aerial bombardment of panjab wud initially happen! All this on guru nanak dev jis birthday too, which is y the 84' mobs who killed sikhs in delhi, were SO organised, as they were perparing for nationwide sikh killing anyways. Hence y beant/satwant killed the witch as soon as possible....on halloween no less.

Punjab is a frontier state, it is heavily militarised, so the terrorists will attack what they believe is a soft target.

Yes they were. They've always been part of the social fabric of Punjab. Just look at the history of Amritsar. The city's culture was practically built by Kashmiri muslims as well as its economic status as a powerhouse of the old silk route. Like I said, there is a tendancy among Hinduvta Indians to blame muslims for everything and deny their rightful place in our history. We Sikhs should not be playing their games.

Jonny is right, you are confusing the Gujjars or Punjab with those of J&K, I have lived in Punjab during the 70s and do not recall seeing an Gujjars like you see today. These Gujjars have been coming to Punjab only in the early 2000s. They have been bought to Punjab as part of a conspiracy and are then settled on wakf board land.

The Kashmiris of Amritsar were not Gujjars but traders and craftsmen and were a part of the Amritsar social scene from the 1800s ti 1947. They migrated to Amritsar from Kashmir because of the unsettled conditions during the Afghan rule in Kashmir.

Exactly! These j&k gujjars have nothing to do with the achievements of the Kashmiris who settled in central Punjab during the 1800s. The Kashmiri butt community is as progressive as the Punjabi Arains of Pakistan. The j&k gujjars are as different in characteristics from the Kashmiri community of Punjab as the nomadic Bedouins are from regular Arabs.

Iqbal the famous poet belonged to the Kashmiri community of Punjab.

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
