BBC refuse to help to save the life of a sikh boy

Recommended Posts

Numerous phone calls made, text and emails sent to the BBC, why were they not reporting the story of the Sikh boy trapped in a borehole. Every time they pleaded ignorant of the story. To this day there is not a BBC article on the tragedy. If the BBC had given the story coverage maybe an international team could have got involved and saved Fatehveers life. Why are the BBC anti-Sikh?I Even suggested they could change the facts to suit the BBC narrative..That Putin had dug the hole and the child was a Muslim and the lesbian parents were very upset

How much of the mainstream Indian media covered it, they only started late yesterday and today.

The BBC covering something like this wouldn't have helped one bit, even if an international team did go over there they would have a battle on their hands getting past all the glory hunters and Dera member.

I have got depression along with ocd ptsd and early signs of bipolar. So i am full of anger. Now let me ask you didn't your friends play with you at school you mug ?

Okay, you've been posting your depression on the forum for years now.

Tell me exactly how you are being treated right now. What counselling are you having, have you had? What meds are you on, have you been on?

What has your GP said to you.

Please tell us. Do you think you've made any progress in the last few years with your condition?

What was your relationship with your parents like?

The gp sent me to straight to the mental health team when i said i am watching suicide and was having fantisies of jumping under a train at the time.

The therpahy sessions were rubbish as i find them crap.

Okay.

I don't think i have made any progress at all cos i watch death vids everyday like really shocking stuff like beheadings, suicide, cannibalism etc.

Have you tried meditation aka simran by apnay?

True bro i will try to do simran.

My parents i have started to recently open up about certain things to my mother esepcially since i have started watching the suicide vids.

But they had no response so far for the things i mentioned as it had events from my childhood teenage and adult years. So its a bit complaicted cos i do feel like i have no energy sometimes.

Slowly and gradually bring in simran and physical training into your life. It will help big time.

Not training has a dual effect of actually making us feel less energetic.

You have to take steps yourself, no one but you can make you do it.

Thanks bro i will try to do that and hopefuly things will change.

Don't try, just throw yourself in and work on building it up.

Have the most basic workout plan to start with. You don't need equipment. Do basics like push ups, squats, lunges, get yourself a cheap doorway pull up bar. The chemicals that get released in your body when you train can help your mind feel better BIG TIME! I had an injury a short while ago that meant that I couldn't train, and boy did I feel this on my mental state!

As for simran. Just go for 5 minutes to start with.

You have to gradually recondition your mind (munh) and body (tunh).

    • Very interesting it's just used a lot by others like the sun disk of Egypt etc. Have not seen it myself used in Sikhi before today.
    • This was a common motif/symbol in Sikhi and is still utilised by the Dal Panth. The Surya or Suraj is a reference to the dynasty (Suryavanshi) which Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and therefore the Khalsa Panth belongs to as mentioned in Bachittar Natak and other texts. ਜਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਤ ਯਹਿ, ਰਹਤ ਨ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਜਾਤਿ । On that day when you take Amrit [Khandey Di Pahul], the commandment is that you do not have a previous Caste. In the same way a Bhringi, which transforms a [low] insect into a beautiful butterfly, a Sikh turns [beautiful] and adopts the Gurus Caste. ਸੂਰਜ ਬੰਸੀ ਦਸਮ ਗੁਰੁ, ਛੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ । The Tenth Guru is from the Suraj Bans (Surya Vansh Lineage), the famous Kshatriya caste. ਯਾਹੀਂ ਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਛੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਬਰਣ ਅਬਿੱਧ ॥੨੫॥ In this way all the Khalsa turn into one of Kshastriya. [Naveen Panth Prakash, pg. 1581, Vol. 3]     ^ a Surajmukhi emblem being carried with Guru Sahibs entourage.     ^ The same emblem being used by the Nihangs today     ^ On the hilt of a Sikh Shastar     ^ A battle standard from the Sikh Empire with a Surya   ^ Surya logo   Gurbar Akaal!
    • Interesting there is sun emblem on the shield
