I think it should be the other way round. If you look at extant older rahits, they are much more broad. According to the SGPC one, practices of nihangs make them tankaiya for instance.

the sgpc rehat maryada is pretty strong as a baseline except for the fact they cut our "kirpaa karo ham par jagmata...dookh na tisai biapat joee" from benti chaupai

Aren't the Purtaan Rehits similar enough?

Sure Nihang Singhs have dispensations for Bhang and Jhatka. 

Sure some elevate their Rehit to include being a Sarbloh Bibeki. 

How different are the base Purtaan Rehits outside of those two cases?

Did the sgpc keep all the consensus points as a base for Sikhs to add onto? Or is it just pruned back to the point it hurts the tree?

Here's a link to one of the earliest ones found. The early ones vary somewhat according to the authors.  It's been well over a decade since I posted that btw. My views are likely to have changed significantly since then.

A lot of pruning back in my opinion. Also trying to fit it into the mould of a 'religion' as per colonial times, instead of a dharmic/discipline focused one.
