First the question is why did we all leave in the first place? Is it because we as people cannot create functioning societies or are certain elements at play who see us sikhs as threat and try every possible thing to sabotage our living in our own land? I mean i would definitely want to have our own country because i know that our condition would be better than india. But truthfully right now i think we have no power and our own country is not possible. Our people back home think that okay things are not good lets just go to another country. What do you think about the future of immigration? You think the countries that we move to , their people will be happy with this? I mean im here sitting in the west becasue my dad had an engineering degree in punjab but was unemployed. And here in canada he got such a good job. The condition in punjab is really not good. But is it our own fault or are we being forced to be this way? We cant always just run away from our problems. We have to do something to build our own home. Cant always be running away to someone else's home. But the people who want khalistan well they say that the indian govt is purposefully doing this to punjab so we will just go away from there. What do you think,is it our own fault for punjab's condition or India just does not want us to prosper?

I’m no fan of the tactics and overall methodology of this group, but at least they are doing more than me or you.

These endeavors are more for keeping the flame of hope alive. There’s no chance of any this referendum stuff working about, we all know this, as probably do the organizers. It’s more about giving the Hindu deep state an un-scratchable itch. Keep reminding them we’re still kicking around in some form. It does annoy the deep state that we haven’t collapsed and faded as they had envisioned.

Every single one of us is looking for prosperity, security, and a future. That’s why our kaum is running around all over the globe. But deep down we know our long term survival as a religious group hinges on a sovereign homeland.

Nobody will sacrifice until they have no other choice left. The religiously motivated who can overcome this are far too few to make any kind of difference. We in the west will only fight for our homeland when the west is up in flames and we are among countless other groups running around like headless chickens trying to find safety. When war engulfs the world and there is destruction all around, that will be the next opportunity to lay it all on the line and fight for our land and perhaps some more for good measure. War cleanses the egos of the mighty. Wait for it.

Perhaps as part of an effort to convince New Delhi that it is serious about the issue, the federal government later made reference to “Sikh (Khalistani) extremism” in an annual terrorism report, raising the ire this time of the Sikh community here.

The “top-level” team from the NIA met with senior RCMP officials Nov. 4-5 to “collate evidence on several ongoing investigations into cases of terrorism and other serious crimes, in order to bring about successful prosecution of the accused in both India and Canada,” said the statement from the High Commission.

The group also met with Global Affairs Canada and Public Safety Canada officials with the aim of deepening collaboration on counter-terrorism, the mission said.

GENEVA: Thousands of Sikhs from Europe will be descending on Geneva, Switzerland, during the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) session next month to take part in the Khalistan Referendum voting on December 10.

Addressing a press conference underneath the iconic broken chair outside the UN building in the centre of Geneva, leaders of Sikhs For Justice Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, Attorney at Law & General Counsel of SFJ Paramjeet Singh Pamma, Khalistan Referendum UK-EU Coordinator and Duoinderjit Singh, SFJ coordinator for UK-EU, announced voting will be held in Geneva on December 10.

British Police raids Sikhs for Justice, outfit used electronic devices to create fake identity cards: Report

Banned outfit Sikhs for Justice was raided by the British Police earlier this month, CNN-News18 has reported. On November 15, the Hounslow office of SFJ at 256 Bath Road was raided. Electronic devices and documents of related to the ‘Punjab Referendum’ were seized from the site.

According to the report, the Police have recovered documents that sought to inflate the the number of voters in the so called referendum. An individual with links to Pakistan has also been detained in the process. According to sources quoted by News18, the outfit created fake identity cards using electronic devices.

Sources in the Indian Government said that the Hounslow office of SFJ was pivotal in manufacturing propaganda against India.

ISLAMABAD - The 5th phase of the referendum for Khalistan, an independent Sikh homeland in India, will be held in the United Kingdom (UK) Sunday (today).

According to Kashmir Media Service, thousands of members of Sikh community residing in the UK have participated in earlier four phases of the Referendum, which kick started with voting in London on 31 October, this year.

The massive participation of Sikhs in the referendum for their homeland has unnerved the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government, which tried hard to stop the exercise in the UK but failed. However, the British government allowed the Sikh referendum despite New Delhi’s concerns.
