Why is it only Sikhs getting killed in gangs or 'accidents'..why not Shiv sena leaders / bollywood/ politicians

First thing, (for probably a variety of reasons) some Sikhs seem more inclined to join/form gangs. Then when they do, many are in your face about it. People (gairhSikhs) like this get killed in London regularly. You mark yourself out, and the easiest and quickest way for upcoming street guys to make a rep for themselves is to knock off a prominent figure. A lot of crook types I've met over the years (not by choice) keep a low profile and try and hide their shyte (for what I thought was obvious reasons but it seems in places like Canada the police are completely useless), or they live in small bubbles of generally other similar types and their families. Apnay, on the contrary, will literally make a song and dance about their gangsterism, bringing every last c**t's attention to it. They love attention so much they don't want to live under the radar like someone intelligent might do (not least of all because they might get their shyte taken off them by the authorities).  So they'll be on everyone's radar, the police, rival gangs, jealous members of their own crews. That environment is full of psychopaths and sociopaths who rarely have any loyalty to anyone, and actually live for that game of one-up-manship. So when they set someone up, they get off on it. Plus Panjabis are probably generally more violent than those other groups you mention and get all hot headed and make moves without thinking too much under certain circumstances. Plus I bet you behind every last apna that has been knocked off under suspicious circumstances, there has been at least one if not a bunch of our own readily involved.

Sister with all respect, I tell you what worries me about how you are going on. Really, the death level in the community right now is minor. It was MUCH worse when I was growing up. And other communities have had it MUCH worse (i.e. like afghans, or now russians or ukrainians). Now if it ever actually got serious again like it did in the mid 80s till about the early 90s in a jungh situation, how you're behaving would demoralise the panth. These things happen. Get used to it. Toughen yourself up for your own and all of our sakes.  No disrespect.

We were almost decimated once before too. I know that as long as we stay true to the guru there will be a way. God will make the circumstances that will pave the way for us to rise again just like it was last time. That doesnt mean we have to put no effort. Look at ukraine. Dont think a few months ago anyone thought this would happen. The world is unpredictable. Anything can happen at any moment. I just know that god will never let the truth be lost.

When the United States sent Ukraine military aid and support, they didn't send them bandages, Dettol, and a shoulder to cry on.

You realise American and British special forces are most likely tearing up Russian forces over there? The wind didn't just change, and a useless little country like Ukraine started to stem the Russian tide. Why'd do you think there's a selective media dampening of coverage? When the Yanks and British hand Ukraine victory, then the Western propaganda will start up again about the resilient Ukrainian fightback against the Russian Goliath.

Sikh's craving saviours is why we're going to disappear.

Not saying we need a saviour but circumstances can change in our favour. Offcourse we need to put in effort and work and not wait for someone to come save us.

I know ukraine is getting military help but I dont know what is happening over there at all or who is even winning. My point was none of us thought that in 2022 ukraine would get invaded. So the state of the world can change anytime.

But those other communities have a huge population too compared to us.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
