WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH I was watching alpha punjabi and i saw this Gurdas Mann's song: 'sarbans daniya ve...' lol cant memba the rest... but i know its got summet to do wiv Sikhi coz i heard the song referring to Sikhi and i saw Guru Ji's pics... but im really interested in knowing what it was talking about. I was reading Rehras sahib and I saw this pangti that comes at end of chaupai sahib . Highlighted in pink : It almost translates like "Such is the reward of serving Bisan (Vishnu). 'Aadh' and disease does not affect such a person." . I don't see any other meaning of these pankti . But I am not saying that GGS worshipped Vishnu . Lets please discuss !

Sat Sri Akal, I apologize if this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn't find it anywhere. I have always been told that the Panj bania refer to the morning banis: Jap Ji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Sawaiye, Chaupai Sahib and Anand Sahib And in the evening Rehras sahib and Kirtan sohila are also performed. However, I was looking at the Rehat maryada and noticed that it only mentions Jap Ji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Sawaiye, Rehras Sahib and Kirtan Sohila...completely missing out Chaupai and Anand Sahib from the list. :wacko: Could anyone explain to me why this is? Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
