Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! As some of you may have heard yesterday Peterson got the death sentance for the murder or Lacy, his wife and his unborn child, in California. We have been having this discussion and have decided to ask the sangat's view on this topic. I know its a touchy topic but still would like to know your opinion. I am of the opinion that the Death Penalty is wrong. A number of reasons for this. 1. We as human beings should not have the right to decide if this person is insane enough to kill. 2. Death penalty should be changed to putting the criminal in jail until the day he dies. And he/she should know that they will can never …

Gurfathe, the aim of this post is not to offend any one, but, today it seems we are stuck uppon who and which jatha will be attending certain program/smagams. Im guilty as the next person, but going to a smagam cause some one "famous", a well known raagi is atending, is that the right reson to attend? are we not going because of the keertani/raagi instead of the biraas of keertan, the raas of gurbani. we look for a well known jatha yet we ignore the other jath cause they are new on the field yet they are the so called "next big thing". by going to certain programs and not going to others because of which raagi si comming, or rather which isnt are we not defeating the…

GOD RESIDES WITHIN ALL :T: "Gauree, Ninth Mehl: Holy Saadhus: sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe. You have obtained the priceless jewel of this human life; why are you uselessly wasting it? ||1||Pause|| He is the Purifier of sinners, the Friend of the poor. Come, and enter the Lord's Sanctuary. Remembering Him, the elephant's fear was removed; so why do you forget Him? ||1|| Renounce your egotistical pride and your emotional attachment to Maya; focus your consciousness on the Lord's meditation. http://www.mehfilmagazine.com/ (check out the 3rd one). --------------------------------- Mahatma Gandhi could always be counted on for words of wisdom, and in a time of religious division of such tragic proportions the world over, those words merit renewed emphasis.
