Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Pyare jio, I felt quite annoyed after the programme on radio 5 live about the Birmingham protests. I tried to get on, and gave my opinions, and was phoned back by the show, and was kept on stand by them for 20 mins, but the DJ Richard Bacon at the end apologised to me for not having anymore time. I know it was not his fault, but I let him know that I thought he gave the anti-protest people more coverage, and was gobsmacked by comments by the "Ted" from southall. ( another so-called sikh knows nothing about sikhism) I thought the two speakers Mohan singh and other playwrite from southall both spoke well. It was a sha…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Ive been told that when u comb your hair you are meant to burn your hair, but why? where does sit say you have to do that? :T: :T: I mean like it's dead hair you are combing it out to keep your hair clean so why should we not throw it in the bin...after all it is dead hair. I know that hair is one of our 5 k's but wen u comb ur hair u should be able to throw away da dead hairs so there should be no need to burn them! I've heard people pile their dead hair's up in a bag and no offence but i think that's very unhygenic...because you are gathering up dead hairs! bul chuka di maf karni! WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEG…

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh a gupt person on internet has asked me advice on what to do. This person says they are religious and have interest in Sikhi and wish to do their best to live in Guru's path. Unfortunately, she has fell pregnant to the person she was going to marry. She realises her mistake and regrets it. She doesn't know what to do. She has not told her parents about the situation and she feels confused. My advice so far is: - Waheguru is all forgiven and all loving - Humans make mistake - but learning from the mistake and not repeating same mistakes is what a gurmukh person does. - Suggested that she does Ardaas in Guru Ji's sharan a…

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! As some of you may have heard yesterday Peterson got the death sentance for the murder or Lacy, his wife and his unborn child, in California. We have been having this discussion and have decided to ask the sangat's view on this topic. I know its a touchy topic but still would like to know your opinion. I am of the opinion that the Death Penalty is wrong. A number of reasons for this. 1. We as human beings should not have the right to decide if this person is insane enough to kill. 2. Death penalty should be changed to putting the criminal in jail until the day he dies. And he/she should know that they will can never …

Gurfathe, the aim of this post is not to offend any one, but, today it seems we are stuck uppon who and which jatha will be attending certain program/smagams. Im guilty as the next person, but going to a smagam cause some one "famous", a well known raagi is atending, is that the right reson to attend? are we not going because of the keertani/raagi instead of the biraas of keertan, the raas of gurbani. we look for a well known jatha yet we ignore the other jath cause they are new on the field yet they are the so called "next big thing". by going to certain programs and not going to others because of which raagi si comming, or rather which isnt are we not defeating the…
