I sent an email to Kraft to see which cheeses were safe for vegetarians, this is the reply I got: Thanks for visiting our website! IF ENZYME IS LISTED IN THE INGREDIENT LINE: The product contains Chymosin which is a microbiologically produced coagulating enzyme. This enzyme (Chymosin) is not derived from any animal source. In addition to containing Chymosin, SHARP & EXTRA SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESES may also contain animal derived enzymes which assist in flavor and texture development. The enzyme used is NOT a pork enzyme. The process of converting milk into cheese is dependent on coagulating through the use of this enzyme. Our enzymes are purchased from a …

The luxuries that we have in life, and sometimes take for granted, are unfortunately not available to everyone. Those who are unlucky live in conditions of poverty, and each day is a battle for survival. Poverty is extremely high in Toronto and it continues to be a growing problem. Homeless people die out on the streets because they lack the necessities of life. The rate of death is only heightened in the…

I juz wanted to say something about the shaheedi of the Sahibzadas which is remembered on Dec 17th... In Punjab, district Patiala (i think), at Gurdwara Fatehgarh sahib where the younger sahibzadas were bricked alive.....there is a large turnout of ppl who come here to be there for the programs in their memory... Sad thing is, our people are calling it a MELA. When somone is asked "Where are you going?" Person says "I'm going to see the MELA at Fatehgarh Sahib." Folks this is NOT A MELA! Sahibzadas gave their life, were bricked alive....and now that day has turned into a MELA?! The day when ppl go to Fatehgarh Sahib to remember the sahibzadas shaheedi, when they go to…
