ok, i'm a scammer.. i know the title got you guys i had a quick question for the math geeks out there... my ability in trigonometry sucks royally... i have to solve this trig identity: cos^2 2x + 2 cos 2x +1 = 0 , where the domain is from -pi to pi, or [-pi, pi] if anyone can help me out, that'd be awesome.. like.. with the first couple steps, cuz i really have no idea what to do with that... thanks anyone who can help..

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! any one menber of the following yahoo groups justice4sikhs (im not a member) learning-zonenews sikh-sewa (im not a member) since 26 and 27 march over 2 days i recived 13 emails including 3 groups above with Virus "W32.Netsky.D@mm" found. in my yahoo email account. other 10 e-mails where from unknown e-mail addreses including 1 from management@yahoo.com. has any one else recived any virus in the past 2 days from above.

Quick question... A couple months back, someone was telling me about how Sikhi rehat has existed ever since Guru Nanak Dev Ji's time...he told me that on Vaisakhi, 1699, all 80,000 Sikhs who came to see Guru Gobind Singh Ji were in full dastaar and had uncut hair/beard... Is this true? And if so, where/how did the idea of turbans/uncut hair become a stale of Sikhi? After all, if they had it BEFORE Guru Gobind Singh Ji did the amrit ceremony...it must have come from SOMEWHERE... thanks in advance

Fellow Gursikhs: I have been wondering about this for a long time... We all know that Indira Gandhi was of Congress party (right?) and we know about what happened in 1984 with Operation Bluestar... Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
