wjkk wjkf If I’ve got the wrong end of the stick then am sorry, but this has been playing on my mind, and since I myself have come of age, I wanted to know what the basics of marital attitudes are. All Sikh girls, as soon as they come of age, are taught that they should look upon their husband as their ‘Guru’. I AM NOT trying to refute this, only I am a little confused about something. Sikhi, (as I have always been brought up with), teaches us that men and women are equal. My question is, if men and women are equal, how is it that women are supposed to see their husbands as their Guru, and therefore their superior? What is the reasoning behind this? wjkk wjkf

Rape and worse Ludhiana cops show utter callousness IMAGINE the shock and trauma of a widow returning by a night bus from a pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi with her minor son who had to fight off the owner of the bus trying to outrage her modesty in the running vehicle near Ludhiana. Nothing could have been more shocking. She would have been beholden to the policemen who heeded her shouts and chased the bus along with several other public-spirited citizens and journalists of the city and frustrated the bus owner’s devilish designs. But what happened later was no less horrifying. The policemen entered into a turf war and made the bruised woman with torn clothes suffering from…

Hanuman Natak was written by Hirday Raam Bhalla. This granth was gifted to Dasmesh Pita by bhai nand lal ji. Guru jee liked it very much and got it written in Gurmukhi Alphabet. Guru jee used to keep this granth in His kamarkassa and used to say that whoever will read this granth will become a warrior. Hanuman Natak is not part of Dasam Granth but is a separate granth and in puratan sampardas, its santhiya is given before giving the santhiya of Dasam Granth Ji. Bhai Chaupa Singh writes in his rehitnama that Guru jee actually read Hanuman Natak before composing the compositions in the Dasam Granth Sahib.

Over the last few years, Sikhs have been attending various events at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. However, to many people’s dismay Sikhs that wear a Kirpan are not allowed to enter the EU Parliament Building on the grounds of security and this rule still stands today. At numerous Lobby events and Human rights Programmes Sikhs have not been allowed inside the building and have been forced to see their MEP’s at a different location. Sikhs have also held “sit in” protests which have attracted some media attention to the issue but this didn’t not lead to any change in policy. Sikhs are allowed to enter a number high security locations in the UK including B…
