  1. Ha ha! This just clearly highlights how clueless and susceptible to any old conspiracy theory you really are. I bet you you really struggled at school, didn't you. Watch. Carry on and see how quickly your own community will reject your crap. Then maybe, just maybe you'll get an insight into just how silly you are. What makes you think the majority of Sikh rally attendees would be okay with the EDL? You've lost your grip of reality.

  2. You'll find I'm far more educated and wise then you'll ever be. The idea of bhamans funding fundo musis is absolutely stupid. I believe in Khalistan and find the fact that you consider yourself a Khalistani supporter and an EDL supporter really depressing. Answer my question, how old are you and do you have a job? So do sikh boys from southall. I've had run ins with many musilover-sikhs from southall. You're all pathetic. I'm a Khalistani patriot. Anyone who knows me can back me up on this. Alluding that because I can outwit you is a sign that i'm an evil scheming bahman is laughable. What is rubbish about my statements? The fact you cant refute them? My statement?! lol, i havent written and signed anything. Here you go my fellow sikhs, a clear sign people like this guy use ignorance and slurs in order to get people on their side. Dont fall for it. In the 80s the british government cracked down on BK operations in the uk and many british people did not care. Most british people dont care about the difference between sikhs and muslims. People in the EDL just want brown people to make it look like they are not racist. Once the musis are gone, they will turn on the rest of us. Many white people hate how successful sikhs are, in the same way so may hindustanis coveted what sikhs had in the 80s.... we all know what the hindus did to take our things. They rioted. The whites know that it will look bad if they targeted all non-whites. So here we have a modern version of divide and conquer. People like Southall youth who have turned their back on sikhi and its heroes in order to carve out a little position underneath the whites, like all the other traitors from the colonial period. Two posts ago I said go to north america. Are you that thick you cant even remember? <banned word filter activated>. MEGALOL. Muslim fanatics are pretty thin on the ground in north america. Your forefathers worked hard to build up southall? Or turn it into a 3rd world slum? And you think thats its my fear of muslims that stops me joining the edl? LOL. No, its because I can deal with musis, i'm not a complete asswipe like you. I do not advocate blind sikh-hindu brotherhood but i also dont advocate blind hate, which is what you are doing. You are <banned word filter activated> scarred of everything and everyone. It;s kind of funny really. All your posts come back to women and what others are doing to them. Are you married? Or are you scared the girl you will get fixed up to wont be a fair sikh virgin who will believe all your crap and do what you want? Trust me, you wouldnt deserve a woman like that if she existed. Oh you mean the rally that's been going on for 25 odd years and has achieved nothing? Apart from letting hindustani embassy staff see how fat, ugly and stupid sikhs have got? That rally is just a chance for southall kids to have a day out of the slum. Some of us are working towards real change, not this bs people like you are on about. That just sums up how warped you are. If clever sikhs dont agree with you then they are traitors or RSS agents?! lol. You have done more damage to the sikh image than the rss or traitors could have ever hoped to do. Like i said before, i want to see a whitey flying it next to another whitey flying the hindustani flag. I dont think your white masters have the balls. If they do , i want to see the pics.

  3. I can't believe you still have one or two guys still defending the EDL. Take a look at one of their recent "peaceful" demos where they attacked women and children in a restaurant. People reported an old woman kicked and children spat on. Note the kids and women near the entrance. This isn't a minority of them but hundreds walking by indulging in such disgusting violence.

  4. This is lies. The forces just go wherever they are told and do whatever they are told. Right or wrong. Then run off when it goes pear shaped like in Iraq. The British military machine has a very long history of this including against the Sikh kingdom. What do you think 'annexation' was. Today the government makes up threats to justify invading other nations with an eye on resources like oil. We clearly saw how they lied about 'weapons of mass destruction' and attacked Iraq, directly and indirectly causing God knows how many deaths including lots of innocent men, women and children. No wonder sullay protest against them! Sikhs keep your wits about you and don't fall for any propaganda. Problems like grooming and conversions we are having with some elements from the Pakistani community shouldn't be generalised to every single Muslim on the globe. That's just plain dumb and absolutely no help in resolving them. If you consider yourself a Singh, a lion no less, don't even contemplate hiding behind hordes of illiterate whites in fear of Muslims, if you do, at least have to honesty to face up to the fact that you are a coward. I'd rather die fighting on my own then join any of these idiots.

  6. Because the Punjabis in this world are the biggest hypocrites in the universe. They say only Guru Sahib can wear the Kalgi, but then their very dear sons wear it too, on their wedding day. These very dear sons of their have a shade of hair on their face for the Anand Karaj and wear a Dastar, but in the afternoon these guys shave off the shade of hair and ripp off the Dastar and have an alcoholic drink in their hands.

  9. Its a sad day when an unsuspecting person falls victim to a road accident. We all can die at anytime. Cars and drive through the quitest roads silently, therefore keeping your eyes peeled for vehicles is paramount for your own safety and others around you. I witnessed a young girl dying from a speeding vehicle in southafrica several years back... it's shocking to say the least. What i find in london is that somalian bus drivers have no sense of responsability when over taking other vehicles or when changing lanes, its frightening that they have been given such rights to 'drive' on the roads, with loads of passangers on the bus too. Im not saying all somalian bus drivers are crazy, but i have seen a good number of somalians who just plain can NOT drive responsibly- which leads one to question: from where or whom are they getting their lisences?? anyways, for all sikhs out there, what sikh scriptures (and translated) would be relevant for this thread? @paneer monster: i'll say a prayer for this mornings victim and hope his family will be ok. Google me!

  11. Hasn't anyone here heard of the saying "Pagh di Laaj Rakhni" ? COME OUT TO THE LUTON DEMO AND OPENLY CONDEMN THE ENGLISH DEFENCE LEAGUE! Condemn their attacks on women, on our elderly, on places of worship, on their misrepresentation of our community, on their attempts to stain our rich history of fighting fascism in all its forms. LUTON - For those of you who will be at the Luton demo, please print the following flyer for distribution - http://turbancampaign.com/release/luton/flyer.pdf Send a clear signal - THE SIKH COMMUNITY DOES NOT STAND BY THE ENGLISH DEFENCE LEAGUE. I'm surprised at some of the absolute nonsense comments posted on this thread. At the same time I'd like to thank those who are not buying into the EDLs rubbish. A blog post will be out soon along with some more audio interviews from the various signatories.

  12. The problem (if you can call it that) is the Hindu middle to upper classes in India are - relatively - content and satisfied. Some run businesses and most have professional jobs in which they are plodding along in life. They have no reason to rise-up against the government. Now, if we're talking about the lower, poverty-stricken classes of India (the street people or the immensely poor villagers) they simply haven't got the heart to fight. They'd lose too much and gain very little.

  13. One thing I have noticed that the Police and armed forces have not killing their own people on mass during the demos. In India thousands were killed by the forces. The Police do not hesitate to use live ammunition in India. Could we see the people uprising in India the 80 % who have been left out of economic progress? The recent reports of 35% of Indias wealth having dissapeared offshore taken by its leaders since 1947 has got people angry.

  16. The Kirpan is fundamental part and parcel of the khalsa uniform, it is the guru given right to bear arms in defence of the faith and fight oppression. So any government which dares to ban it is showing you that they are indulging in oppression against the human right of religious freedom and it is a sign all Sikhs should take seriously. It is high time for Sikhs to become politically active particularly the younger generation.

The one that broadcasts the most speeches and recordings of Sant Jarnail Singh Jee will have the highest ratings, viewers, and support, financial or otherwise, from the Sangat. It's that simple. 20. First look into why Sikhs don't eat meat, read quotes from Gurbani. From my understanding it's to realize there is God prevailing in all of the creation, from an ant to an elephant. By being a vegetarian you respect Waheguru and The Creation. By extending compassion to all living beings you progress spiritually and your thinking and views on the Universe change entirely. In my opinion, if you needed to eat meat to sruvive (a matter of life and death) it would be a need, not a choice. A Sikh Khalsa has a duty to protect everything that is right. http://www.sikhiwiki...p/Vegetarianism

This is encouraging news, however, Satkaar Sevadaars have a meeting scheduled with the relevant persons this coming Saturday to confirm any outstanding issues. We will provide the Sangat with a complete picture of the situation in the coming days.

Doesn't it ring bells to this pro-pakistan guy that he has failed to gain support from the 800,000 strong British Sikh community and maybe he should look for a younger educated british born sikh successor to lead the movement? Harping on about hindu terrorism (though important to expose) is irrelevant for most British Sikhs they are more concerned about Islamo-fascism and lack of guidance for the majority mona / sahejdhari sikh youths.

  26. Where do I begin.... Its quite a long story but I shall summuriase the main problems. My Brother has become a big problem for the whole family ever since he got married in India. He then brought his wife over but failed to make the correct documents/stamp needed for his wifes immigration to the uk to become a british citizen. He refuses to leave our family home And now says that his wife is effectively an illegal immigrant. He’s been living with us for 7 years. And we are finding it difficult since he's has kids and there are now 5 of the altogether. he refuses to leave. We have helped him whenever asked. But he says that he will never leave. This is giving everyone in the house stress. He refuses to lift a finger. Does not leave the house or get a job. And just blames everyone else for his problems. We do not know what to do. He has had fights with everyone in the house and no one talks to him. We just don’t know how to get rid of him. and he's always emotionally blackmailing us about his wife getting deported. It’s come to a point where many family members have moved out of the house. Because of all the problems he's bringing to us. i think our last resort maybe to talk to a solicitor to remove the unwanted tenants from our house. the whole situation is a mess and everyone is suffering. All the family are sick of his and don’t want anything to do with him. He’s like the black sheep of the family. All we want to do is get rid of him. But he has threatened us with many things if we don’t let him stay there. I have now taken it on myself to remove him but im finding it hard finding a solution. because of this selfish person.

Other than that I think UK Singhs should "deal" with these "Sikhs" who are showing their face at these demos, regardless of which side they are on. 29. TurbanCampaign, you clearly have your head in the clouds. If you read news stories past and present in regards to radical elements within the muslim community you will see how much they dispise the non-muslims and other ways of life that is not islamic. As we all know the gurdwara committee's are the older generation who are corrupt and out of touch with what the younger sangat feels, ask your average Sikh on the street and they will tell you straight up they neither support EDL or want anything to do with an organisation that has Islamo-fascists within its ranks. What you are doing is trying to create a polarization within our community and forcing them to take sides.

  33. Thing is paaji, these things have not changed for us in the last 35 years or so in the UK. We were the first to face racially motivated sexual exploitation at the hands of sullaahs going back into the 70's. We did the rallys before EDL even existed. We do not need to jump on the EDL bandwagon, we can not trust in these groups. These are the same that fire bombed our Guru ghars and rioted in Southall. We'd be fools to side with them. We should have enough self confidence and unity to stand up for our own causes without the support of any one else. Trust me, those who stand with the EDL or with UAF will look like mugs

  35. The EDL is infiltrated by white nationalist neo-nazi racists who left BNP and combat 18 and now are trying to hijack it for their own agenda against their new target islamo-fascists not only that the EDL has members of MI5 and other covert police state apparatus within it as does the leftest UAF. You got a whole range of nutters, extremists and covert secret police who will and have in many a country (in publicly available documented cases) started violence then melt into the crowd (helped by the state agencies) in turn resulting in police using heavy handed tactics against the protesters. Their objective being try to criminalise people as many people that they can as they are viewed as a threat to the state and status quo. So best advice for our community is not get involved with any of these organisations, only join political organisations that has Sikh interests within their policies.

  37. Turbancampaign, can you do the Sikhs a favor and change the name of your campaign or something. You are not representative of the majority of British Sikh community's view. I believe our community neither suppports EDL or your lot, they are neutral. The EDL have a right to protest against islamification of their country and erosion of their heritage and way of life by islamists and their gangs. Do not side with the islamists and give us a bad name as you will turn many of the youth into the hands of the EDL as I know our community would rather side with the english nationalists as patriots of this land than islamo-fascists who hate non-muslims and have infiltrated UAF by the banner of MDL (Muslim Defence League).

  38. I Would Not Exactly Join The EDL. But I Think It Is Fair To Post Their Side Of The Story. From http://englishdefenceleague.org/content.php?136 EDL MISSION STATEMENT Attachment 72 EDL MISSION STATEMENT “The world is a dangerous place to live in; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.” - Albert Einstein, refugee from Nazi Germany People have been asking what the EDL is all about, what does it want to achieve, how will it achieve those things? Well now the English Defence League has a Mission Statement...... (1) HUMAN RIGHTS: Protecting And Promoting Human Rights The English Defence League (EDL) is a human rights organisation that was founded in the wake of the shocking actions of a small group of Muslim extremists who, at a homecoming parade in Luton, openly mocked the sacrifices of our service personnel without any fear of censure. Although these actions were certainly those of a minority, we believe that they reflect other forms of religiously-inspired intolerance and barbarity that are thriving amongst certain sections of the Muslim population in Britain: including, but not limited to, the denigration and oppression of women, the molestation of young children, the committing of so-called honour killings, homophobia, anti-Semitism, and continued support for those responsible for terrorist atrocities. Whilst we must always protect against the unjust assumption that all Muslims are complicit in or somehow responsible for these crimes, we must not be afraid to speak freely about these issues. This is why the EDL will continue to work to protect the inalienable rights of all people to protest against radical Islam’s encroachment into the lives of non-Muslims. We also recognise that Muslims themselves are frequently the main victims of some Islamic traditions and practices. The Government should protect the individual human rights of members of British Muslims. It should ensure that they can openly criticise Islamic orthodoxy, challenge Islamic leaders without fear of retribution, receive full equality before the law (including equal rights for Muslim women), and leave Islam if they see fit, without fear of censure. British Muslims should be able to safely demand reform of their religion, in order to make it more relevant to the needs of the modern world and more respectful of other groups in society. It is important that they completely reject the views of those who believe that Islam should be taken in its ‘original’, 7th century form, because these interpretations are the antithesis of Western democracy. The onus should be on British Muslims to overcome the problems that blight their religion and achieve nothing short of an Islamic reformation. In line with this, we should do all that we can to empower those who are willing to take this path. We must also ensure that they do not fear reprisals from those who, in line with these 7th century interpretations, would force sharia law upon them. The EDL calls upon the Government to repeal legislation that prevents effective freedom of speech, for freedom of speech is essential if the human rights abuses that sometimes manifest themselves around Islam are to be stopped. We believe that the proponents of radical Islam have a stranglehold on British Muslims. These radicals dominate Muslim organisations, remain key figures in British mosques, and are steadily increasing their influence. Radical Islam keeps British Muslims fearful and isolated, especially the women that it encases in the Burqa. It misrepresents their views, stifles freedom of expression, and indoctrinates their children, whilst continually doing a discredit to those who do wish to peacefully co-exist with their fellow Britons. (2) DEMOCRACY AND THE RULE OF LAW: Promoting Democracy And The Rule Of Law By Opposing Sharia The European Court of Human Rights has declared that “sharia is incompatible with the fundamental principles of democracy”. Despite this, there are still those who are more than willing to accommodate sharia norms, and who believe that sharia can operate in partnership with our existing traditions and customs. In reality, sharia cannot operate fully as anything other than a complete alternative to our existing legal, political, and social systems. It is a revolution that this country does not want, and one that it must resist. Sharia is most definitely a threat to our democracy. The operation of Islamic courts, the often unreasonable demand that Islam is given more respect than it is due, and the stealthy incursion of halal meat into the food industry, all demonstrate that sharia is already creeping into our lives. Resentment is already beginning to grow, and could create dangerous divisions if nothing is done. The primacy of British courts must be maintained and defended, fair criticism of religious and political ideologies must be permitted, and consumers must be provided with the information necessary to avoid halal produce should they wish. Restaurants and fast food chains that do offer halal options should offer non-halal alternatives as well, in order to show respect for other people’s religions, customs, and possible concerns about animal welfare issues (surrounding ritual slaughter). No one should be made to consume halal produce unwittingly, so it must always be labeled - in supermarkets, in restaurants, in schools, and in hospitals - wherever it is available. Free choice in these matters is, after all, a fundamental human right for everybody, not just the Muslim community. Sharia law makes a fundamental distinction between Muslims and non-Muslims, and the EDL will never allow this sort of iniquitous apartheid to take root in our country. The EDL will therefore oppose sharia appeasement in all its forms, and will actively work to eradicate the sharia-compliant behaviours that are already being adopted, and enforced, in our society. (3) PUBLIC EDUCATION: Ensuring That The Public Get A Balanced Picture Of Islam A central part of the EDL’s mission is public education. The British political and media establishment have, for a long time, been presenting a very sanitised and therefore inaccurate view of Islam, shaped by the needs of policy-makers rather than the needs of the public. This has acted as a barrier to informed policy-making and made finding the solution to real problems impossible. In pursuing this self-defeating and destructive policy, the Government has effectively been acting as the propaganda arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Whether or not is aware of the predicament that it has put itself in, it has so far failed to honestly admit its failures. We are committed to a campaign of public education to ensure that all aspects of Islam that impact on our society can debated in an open and honest way. Demonisation of Muslims, or of Islam’s critics, adds nothing to the debate. We believe that only by looking at all the facts can society be most effectively and humanly governed. If there are aspects of Muslim tradition that encourage the activities of Islamic radicals and criminals then these need to be properly addressed without fear of accusations of racism, xenophobia, or the even the disingenuous term ‘Islamophobia’. The public must be provided with a more realistic and less sanitised view of Islam that allows it to ensure that decision-makers are held to account for their policy-making choices, choices that affect the harmony and security of the nation. The EDL promotes the understanding of Islam and the implications for non-Muslims forced to live alongside it. Islam is not just a religious system, but a political and social ideology that seeks to dominate all non-believers and impose a harsh legal system that rejects democratic accountability and human rights. It runs counter to all that we hold dear within our British liberal democracy, and it must be prepared to change, to conform to secular, liberal ideals and laws, and to contribute to social harmony, rather than causing divisions. (4) RESPECTING TRADITION: Promoting The Traditions And Culture Of England While At The Same Time Being Open To Embrace The Best That Other Cultures Can Offer The EDL believes that English Culture has the right to exist and prosper in England. We recognise that culture is not static, that over time changes take place naturally, and that other cultures make contributions that make our shared culture stronger and more vibrant. However, this does not give license to policy-makers to deliberately undermine our culture and impose non-English cultures on the English people in their own land. If people migrate to this country then they should be expected to respect our culture, its laws, and its traditions, and not expect their own cultures to be promoted by agencies of the state. The best of their cultures will be absorbed naturally and we will all be united by the enhanced culture that results. The onus should always be on foreign cultures to adapt and integrate. If said cultures promote anti-democratic ideas and refuse to accept the authority of our nation’s laws, then the host nation should not be bowing to these ideas in the name of ‘cultural sensitivity’. Law enforcement personnel must be able to enforce the rule of law thoroughly without prejudice or fear. Everyone, after all, is supposed to be equal in the eyes of the law. The EDL is therefore keen to draw its support from people of all races, all faiths, all political persuasions, and all lifestyle choices. Under its umbrella, all people in England, whatever their background, or origin, can stand united in a desire to stop the imposition of the rules of Islam on non-believers. In order to ensure the continuity of our culture and its institutions, the EDL stands opposed to the creeping Islamisation of our country, because intimately related to the spread of Islamic religion is the political desire to implement an undemocratic alternative to our cherished way of life: the sharia. Our armed forces stand up and risk their lives every day in order to protect our culture and democratic way of life. They are also reflective of England’s diversity, and are a shining example of what a people can achieve when united together. The EDL is therefore committed to opposing any and all abuse that our men and women in uniform are subjected to, and will campaign for legal remedies to ensure that those working within these important institutions are not exposed to abuse or aggression from within our country. (5) INTERNATIONAL OUTLOOK: Working In Solidarity With Others Around The World The EDL is keen to join with others who share our values, wherever they are in the world, and from whatever cultural background they derive. We believe that the demand for sharia is global and therefore needs to be tackled at a global as well as national level, so that this demand will never be succumbed to. The EDL will therefore have an international outlook to enhance and strengthen our domestic efforts, whilst at the same time contributing to the global struggle against Islamic intolerance of Western cultures, customs, religions, politics, and laws. The time for tolerating intolerance has come to an end: it is time for the whole world to unite against a truly Global Jihad. HSD you chat crap old chap, Bhamans covertly fund Islamic fanatics to set up in Sikh areas through their agents ,even the islamists don;t know this- as they fund Talibans in Pakistan to destablise the country - the double game is where they sign s***t statements full of Bhaman names and Mandirs and then label it Sikh Community . Hindu boys openly introduce our girls to <banned word filter activated> at clubs and gigs as they suck up to them like dogs like some of our people do.Do as many rubbish statements as you want Balwinder Rana with your fellow RSS cronies - we aint having it.The game is to turn the average british population against us - make us look like we are siding with the Muslims while at the same time cause Sikh/Muslim tension either through issues of girls converting or other issues, conversions happen I agree but there is always a bhaman along the line somehwere. You might as well get the Hindu forum of Britain to sign your statement - and Seva international Hindu terror backers, who openly insult Sikh Shaheeds. HSD goes emigrate ,lol to where Hindustan? You will find these Islamics everywhere in every nation, our forefathers worked hard to build up what we have here - the problem with you people is you fear <banned word filter activated> like the devil .If a girl wants to marry a Islamic the majority of the community is shocked hai hai musalman ya we can't have this happening - as you fear them so much its in your blood to fear them, but when the local Bhaman munda wants to marry a girl oh teekya appa vi hinduan cho ya - this brotherhood crap that Sikhs are Hindus.Point being you fear islamics so much you would not dare side with an anti Islamic group ,rather side with the very organisations and people who have taken our nation commited genocide - Bhamans Those who attack our youths, rob them and have sex with our girls who then ran off with them. EDL are more than welcome to attend the 1984 rally - the Pakhandis can step aside or even bring it if they want to ,I'd rather have the EDL at a British Sikh Rally rather than a traitor or agent of the Indian Govt. Also Sikhs in EDL are more than welcome to fly Khalistan Flags

  46. Neutral? What do you base that on? That's not what your elected community representatives are saying, of student groups and its certainly not what the Gurdwareh are saying either. The Sikh community in the UK is AGAINST the English Defence League and the evidence is right there! There is absolutely no way to justify support for the English Defence League if you want to proclaim yourself as an adherent of the Sikh faith. As for the TurbanCampaign, if you had read the website you would see that it is not an organisation in itself. Many of you need to quit being scared of the Muslims. They done what any community would do in their situation which is to self organise and come together to defend their community from the EDL. Supporting the EDL will achieve nothing except make you look like a fool and bring shame to our community. In fact, the primary reason for having to step up the anti-edl initiative was due to the 'badnaami' being caused by this pro-edl & bnp madness. If you're scared of 'Islamification' then perhaps you should do more and INVEST in your own community. Be sure to compete on every level, in business, in politics and in providing the youth with more opportunities. Standing shoulder to shoulder with the EDL is not right.
