  1. although you will hardly take my advice here i go anyway; 1. Its your duty to respect your fathers wishes 2. This is hardly a serious issue as compared to say say violence/alcoholism 3. If your wearing a simple nok dastar stops fighting in your home then just wear a simple nok dastar, a dumalla or a nok dastar are both acceptable 4. Wear your siri sahib under your clothes hence it is not visible 5. If your father doesnt want you staying up all night at rehnasbhai just go for a littlw while say till 9pm the come home - there are usually divaans every day at the Gurdwara, nobody will go to them but emphasis is placed on the annual international mega rehansabahi with the attendance of "great musicians" The bottom line is that you are young and hence your parents tend to be more over powering wait till your say 23/24 they will chillout, in the mean time accept your fathers wishes and do ardas and kamai before Satguru Siri Guru Gobind Sahib Ji that he may give your parents higher thinking.

  2. This is really nice post i found on gurmat bibek.. A guy called Gurjant Singh was in dire need for money. He wandered here and there, tried many different things but could not succeed in improving his financial situation. One day Gurjant Singh was sitting in a park trying to relax after a very hard day. His face showed all his pain. A very mysterious person approached him and started the conversation: “You look very distressed. Is everything okay?” Gurjant Singh looked up and saw this person who had very piercing eyes and said, “Never mind about my problems. No one can help me. God has given me very bad luck”. “What is wrong with your luck?” “Why do you want to know? I don’t think you can help me. I have met many who promised me the world but no one has been able to produce any results”. “I have helped many people like you. This is what I do for life. I help people in need and you seem like a good candidate for help. Have faith and tell me your problem.” “I am going through financial crisis. I am under massive debt and if I don’t do anything very soon, I will lose my home, all my belongings and they may even take away my children and wife to work for them, till they get their money back. My son is waiting for an operation but I don’t have money. He will die if I don’t produce money. I have very little time and if I don’t do anything, I will have no choice but to commit suicide”. “Is that all? So all you need is money? I can arrange for as much money as you want. It is very simple”. “YOU CAN REALLY HELP ME? Please quickly tell me what you can do. I will do anything for you, if you can get me out of the financial crisis”. “I can take you to an enchanted garden where there is a very big building, full of money. You can collect as much as you want but you must share your money with me. My only condition is that you share your wealth with me. The minimum I need is a bag full of dollars. You can bring bags full of money from there”. Gurjant Singh could not believe what he was hearing. For a moment he thought that this person was just lying to him but the seriousness of his face had Gurjant Singh believe this man. Gurjant Singh thought for a moment and said, “Why don’t you go there yourself?” “Only you can go there. I don’t have access to that place.” “OKAY! FINE! I will not ask you the reason. What do I care? I only want money and that is it. Please take me there immediately.” “I must warn you of one thing. The place where we are going is highly enchanting. It is not as simple as just filling your bags. There is a lot of distraction there. If you don’t stay focussed on the purpose of your visit, you will end up not getting anything from there.” “I also want to warn you to stay away from certain type of flowers and foods there. If you smell those flowers, you will forget your purpose of this visit. That garden is ruled by a very beautiful but vile lady. If you get seduced by that lady, then too you will forget your purpose of the visit.” “Don’t worry about that sir. I am in a very grave situation and there is no way I will forget the purpose of my visit. If I forget my purpose, I will endanger my family, lose all money and my son who is awaiting an operation will die”. They headed towards the enchanted garden and before entering the garden, the mysterious man again warned Gurjant Singh. Gurjant Singh entered the garden and saw the most beautiful flowers and trees he had ever seen. The dark green grass was very neatly cut. He saw a huge building surrounded by gigantic trees. He did not see anyone there. The view was so beautiful that Gurjant Singh was losing his sense of urgency to accomplish his mission here. The more he looked at the scenery, more he was getting lost in the spectacular scenes. He entered the building and saw loads of money all over the place. He decided to fill his bags with money and gold. Just as he was about to fill his bag, the wall in front of him got lightened up with some scenes. It was like a movie screen. The scene was like a movie and was a very intense scene. He kept watching it, and forgot to fill his bag with money. He would not have moved, if his beeper had not started beeping. He had asked the mysterious man to remind him of his purpose. As he heard the beeper, he again started filling his bag with money. At every corner of the building there was a distraction for Gurjant Singh. He could not move two steps before bumping into a distraction. Beautiful girls too arrived to entertain him and he found himself getting entangled in the wonders of the building. He had limited time. He had to be out of there in 8 hours. So far he had not collected anything. Eight hours passed by and Gurjant Singh did not collect any money at all. All he had was a few coins in his pockets and a bag half filled. After 8 hours he was automatically ejected out of the enchanted garden. He came out empty handed. When he came out, he realized his mistake. He had lost a golden chance to better his financial situation. He was able to fill a small bag of money but that was taken away by the Mysterious man who had sent him in. It was his commission. Gurjant Singh was left with nothing. Please think! Are we all not acting like Gurjant Singh? Gurbani clearly says that “LOOTNA HAI TAU LOOT LAE, RAAM NAAM HAI LOOT”. Couple of days as I was travelling back from work and I was talking to my Gursikh friend. We were talking about Naam. A pankiti came in my mind – LOOTNA HAI TAU LOOT LAE, RAAM NAAM HAI LOOT. I uttered it and we both discussed how Raam Naam is loot. Loot means to get something free of cost. We then realized how this pankiti pertains to our situation. We have ample time and opportunity to japp naam but we don’t. Then we came up with this story that I shared with you all. Our situation is just like Gurjant Singh. We are in this enchanted land where we are supposed to take back to our homeland, bags full of Naam Dhan. But we don’t! We indulge in the pleasures of this world. I am pretty sure that we will regret when we die. Gurbani says so. We will regret why we wasted so much time and did not japp naam. To do all pleasures at cost of Naam are futile. REMEMBER THAT EVERY BREATH THAT WE LOSE IS NOT COMING BACK. WE ARE NOT LOSING OUR BREATH BUT A CHANCE TO DO NAAM. Let us not let a single swaas go without naam. Pyaariyo aayo naam japeeye. Let us indulge in Naam. Whether our mind focuses or not, we should not stop doing naam. PLEASE START RIGHT NOW. JAPP NAAM, JAPP BANI. Let us Create a sense of urgency to do naam. Without this sense of urgency, naam cannot be japped all the time. DIL AGAR DAANA BAVAD, ANDAR KINARASH YAAR HAST|| CHASHAM AGAR BEENA BAVAD, DAR HAR TARAF DEEDAAR HAST|| (Bhai Nandlal Goiya) (If the mann gets divine intelligence, mann can find yaar Vaheguru right inside. If the eye gets to the power to see, Vaheguru can be seen all over the place) Let us make our mind - Daana. A Daana mind is developed by reading and understanding baani. A daana mann will indulge in naam. An Ahmak mann will indulge in pleasures. Choice is ours. Do we want a Daana Dil or Ahmak Dil. Daas, Kulbir Singh

  3. It's cool. We should all learn and grow. Questioning things, revising opinions, self-analysis, then thinking "You know what I thought earlier wasn't half wrong" and incorporating newly acquired knowledge into current beliefs, etc., is great IMO.

  4. Jathedar Baba Hanuman Singh Ji Shaheed Fresco of Baba Hanuman Singh Ji at Gurdwara Baba Atal Rai, Amritsar Akaali Baba Hanuman Singh Ji, The 7th leader of the Budha Dal, was born to Baba Garja Singh Ji and Mata Harnam Kaur Ji in November 1755. Baba Ji fought in many great battles under the leadership of Akaali Baba Naina Singh Ji and Akaali Baba Phula Singh Ji (the 5th and 6th Jathedars of Budha Dal). After the Shaheedi of Akaali Phula Singh Ji at Naushera in 1823, Baba Hanuman Singh Ji became the leader of the Akaali Nihangs, as well as the Jathedar of Akaal Takht Sahib at the age of 68 years old. Akaali Baba Hanuman Singh Ji’s tenure as Jathedar of the Sikh nation came as the Panth was experiencing a very critical time. The Maharaja of the Punjab, Ranjit Singh died from stroke complications, his successors were murdered, the treacherous Dogra’s sold out the Lahore Darbar to the British, and the British were planning on annexing the Punjab. Trusted Sikh general Sardar Sham Singh Attari came to the city of Amritsar and approached Jathedar Hanuman Singh for assistance against the British. Meeting at the Akaal Takht, Sham Singh said to Baba Hanuman Singh “Baba Ji, I wish to fight against the British, but have no army. I have no more then myself and my sons.” Baba Ji replied “Oh Singh Ji, who does this Akaali fauj belong to, if not to the Sikh nation.” During the battle of Sabroan, Sardar Sham Singh Ji and many Sikh warriors received martyrdom fighting the British soldiers, inflicting huge losses to the invaders. Baba Hanuman Singh Ji and the remaining Singhs went to camp out in the Sikh Princely state of Patiala. The King of Patiala, Maharaja Karam Singh upon receiving word that the knights of the Guru were camped out in his state, out of fear of retribution for his support to the British, Karam Singh informed the British of the whereabouts of the Jathedar and Sikh army. Baba Ji and the Sikh soldiers were surrounded by the British and their Sikh cohorts, the Princes’ of Patiala, Jind, Faridkot and other traitors. The British army and their Sikh stooges opened up cannon fire on the Sikhs. 15,000 Sikhs attained martyrdom at the spot where Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran now stands in the district of Patiala. Budha Dal oral tradition states that 32,000 Singhs became shaheed during this battle. Leader of the Sikh army, Jathedar Baba Hanuman Singh Ji and around 500 Nihang warriors survived this attack, and continued to fight the heavy cannon fire of the British, with swords, bows and arrows, axes and matchlock fire. Finally after running out of gun powder and watching thousands of Sikh warriors achieve shaheedi, the brave Jathedar of the Guru’s beloved Khalsa, Akaali Baba Hanuman Singh Ji died fighting for the freedom of the people of Punjab at the age of 90. After the martyrdom of Baba Hanuman Singh, Akaali Baba Prehlada Singh Ji became the 8th leader of the Akaali Nihang Singh Khalsa. The British implemented a shoot to kill order on the Nihang Singhs, and Baba Prehlada Singh left for the holy Takht Sahib at Nander to regroup the Akaali army. The few remaining Nihang Singhs, left with Baba Ji towards Hazoor Sahib, or moved camp to the jungles of Punjab and Rajputana to preserve the heritage of the Guru’s army. Gurdwara Sohana Sahib Ji located in the Mohali district of Punjab, was built on the shaheedi asthan (place of martrydom) of Baba Hanuman Singh Ji, in memory of a brave leader of the Sikh nation. Baba Ji lived the life of a true Khalsa, and embodied the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. In the immortal words of Bhagat Kabir Ji: ਗਗਨ ਦਮਾਮਾ ਬਾਜਿਓ ਪਰਿਓ ਨੀਸਾਨੈ ਘਾਉ ॥ The battle-drum beats in the sky of the mind; aim is taken, and the wound is inflicted. ਖੇਤੁ ਜੁ ਮਾਂਡਿਓ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਅਬ ਜੂਝਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਉ ॥੧॥ The spiritual warriors enter the field of battle; now is the time to fight! ਸੂਰਾ ਸੋ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ ਜੁ ਲਰੈ ਦੀਨ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ॥ He alone is known as a spiritual hero, who fights in defense of religion. ਪੁਰਜਾ ਪੁਰਜਾ ਕਟਿ ਮਰੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਛਾਡੈ ਖੇਤੁ ॥੨॥੨॥ He may be cut apart, piece by piece, but he never leaves the field of battle.

  6. You're right bro. They pre-meditated it. They wanted to kill as man Sikhs as they could. People say that the PM is a Sikh. Who cares if the PM is a Sikh? He's a puppet. Everyone knows that Sonia Gandhi runs the show. Manmohan Singh wasn't even elected to his first term. He was appointed by Sonia Gandhi, partly because he's a brilliant economist, and partly to win over Sikh support. What's the first thing Manmohan Singh did as PM? He apologized for '84 Sikh genocide! That's like Barack Obama apologizing for slavery in America.

If your guru is same as all sikhs, then you should not be consuming, OR saying it is okay for "SOME" singhs of particular background/caste/jatha to consume.... end of!

  9. Vaheguru. This is just so sad. A small innocent girl suffering mentally and physically during her last moments. Can't even imagine the pain she went through. No use blaming the usual suspects (the Brahmins and the Muslims) for this. Oh yes, beleive it or not but we are dumb' enough to actually do something like this without any outside help. Until we look inwards instead of pointing the finger of blame on others we cannot get rid of these social problems. Our Gurus left us a beautiful and simple path but we have abandoned it and instead allow innovations and deviations to mix in with our faith. The only way is to come back to the roots of Sikhi. Take Amrit, become rehetvaan, do Naam Simran and Gurbani Paath and abandon non Sikh practices. This is what our true goal in life is because ਅਵਰਿ ਕਾਜ ਤੇਰੈ ਕਿਤੈ ਨ ਕਾਮ ॥

  10. There are Sikh oral traditions - seena basina traditions (passed on generations to generations) i.e - jhatka, sukha, seva of horse, shastarvidya etc to keep sikh martial chivalry hertiage alive, then there are Sikh spiritual traditions based on Gurbani i.e - panj granthi, das granthi nitneem, kirtan, arti-arta etc. As soon as minute extra is spent on oral traditions and prefered over spiritual tradtions based on Gurbani not just nihang but any sikh, one loooses plot on Sikhi. In puratan times, Nihang Singhs are known for their shud dasam guru bani, countless bani from aad guru granth sahib memorized on lips but these days its other way around, except for their jathedars most of them and youths spent all day engaging (discussing or debating) oral traditions so so much they are going away from spritual traditions, just empty vessel bigging up their oral traditions- jhatka, sukha, farla (reduced to fashion garment) etc. Dressing up like a nihang singh has become a social status for youths abroad these days but inside usually youths are spiritualy bankrupt as they are preferring oral traditions over spiritual traditions.. Nihangs must have fine balance just like their jathedars..Even their jathedars mahapursh, they only perform jhatka or sukha only on big occasions like jor melas rather than every day event which so called youth nihangs engage like it some high school party..!!!!

I am shocked to see that every village in punjab is after some bygone peer and started believing in all sort of black magic stuff. I am spending few weeks in one rural pind and stuff i see in pendu houses is just pretty weird and shocking. EVERY PIND now got a green color samaadh where TONS of ppl get together one day a week, worshiping samaadh like crazy. This pind im attending was pretty hardcore in sikhi back in days and now situation is in such disgrace that few days ago they had big event where crap things like sahiyachaar events held near samaadh. There was even proper setup and night program called "Mujra" attended by many. Sometime idea comes to my mind that rss or other crap extremist are not greater threat in punjab but this black magic and people starting believing peers.

  21. Guru Nanak Dev Ji also says instead of using marijuana as an intoxicant, to instead use the fear of Waheguru as your intoxication. Marijuana is an intoxicant. Guru Nanak Dev Ji makes this clear and if people doubt Guru Nanak Dev Ji, you can fall back on limited science and read research papers online that show Marijuana is indeed an intoxicant. The APA has published that marijuana is in fact addictive in nature, something a lot of pot heads used to use as an argument saying it's not addictive. I don't have a problem with using medicine, but there should be a reason. I agree with n30 veerji for the most part, perhaps this is an oral tradition, but if it is it had a specific purpose and that wasn't spirituality. It may have been a part of the kshatriya lifestyle and used as a practical means, now a days people abuse it and that much is clear. If you abuse anything, especially an intoxicant, the effects are horrible. Normal medicine we take such as cold medicine, pain killers or allergy medicine can be intoxicants, but if used for medicinal purposes to treat symptoms then it is okay. The reason why a lot of people in the west are making a big deal out of this is because a lot of Sikhs in Punjab got addicted to this due to lack of education and claim it to be maryada to drink bhang all the time. Those who adhere to being Nihangs in the west and look up to certain individuals that they see as being true Nihangs find ways to justify taking bhang just for the sake of taking it. We shouldn't really be having a discussion about this as it isn't important. Now a days we have medicine like acetaminophen and ibuprofen and for more serious injuries vicodin and anesthesia. The latter two can be abused and a person can become addicted if they don't respect what it's being used for. Guru Sahiban included the Banis of Bhagats that were according to Gurmat so it doesn't matter what Bhagat Ji did, it's irrelevant to the Truth of Gurbani. [/center] The ones who use intoxicants feel sleepy all the time. And when they don’t get their dose then they feel feverish. And that person is good for nothing. He lies in his home like a dead person. (Charitropakhyan, Dasam Granth Sahib)

  23. Alot of people within the panth got played politically at that time, Baba Santa Singh was perhaps one of them, his actions were wrong undoubtedly. His overall contribution to the panth is something people do not know about or choose to ignore. Not many people know about his actions during 1947 partition, the amount of old run down gurdware that they took control of and rebuilt. Thier parchaar on Sri Dasam Granth and Sri Sarbloh Granth is second to none. The building of the Shaster factory and the Budha Dal printing press were also carried out under his tenure as Jathedar. As someone above mentioned he accepted his mistake at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and those who had the oppurtunity to meet him before the end say he performed intense levels of bhagti. For someone like Giani Thakur Singh to even say he his Sachkand vasi shows the level of respect Baba Santa Singh had towards the end of his life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Mod edit* Kindly, please read the rules young Singh Ji: Posting rumors + lighting the match for a controversial debate will not be allowed. Why have crooked police officers been given awards? Why is Gandhi the hero of your country, when he made derogatory remarks about Guru Gobind Singh? Why did Pakistan approve a Sikh marriage act before India? Why are Sikhs still not recognized as a separate religion in India? Why did the Indian army slaughter Sikhs in Kashmir? Why were tanks brought into Golden Temple? Why were innocent pilgrims killed? Why was the attack done on a major Sikh holiday? Why was the library at Akal Takht burned? Why are they still discovering mass graves from the '84 Sikh Genocide? Why are the whisteblowers harassed? Why isn't anyone investigating? Why was Jaswant Singh Khalra abducted and killed for inquiring about the innocent Sikh youth killed by Punjab Police, under Congress Chief Minister Beant Singh? Why is Sikhi saroop, given by Guru Gobind Singh, relentlessly mocked in the Indian media?

Please youtube "Manmohan Singh Shivling" to see the real Sikh appearance of Dr. Singh 2. HOW ARE MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN PANJAB SUPPOSED TO BE RELIGIOUS WHEN A WHOLE GENERATION OF BAPTISED SIKHS OF THE KHALSA WERE KILLED, KIDNAPPED OR DISAPPEARED UNDER INSTRUCTIONS OF YOUR BELOVED INDIAN GOVERNMENT DURING THE YEARS 1980-1995 ? Dumb **** 3. Panjab would be at peace if Sikhs and Panjab were given status as first class citizens. 4. Please use your appaling low level of intellgence to answer this question. How do you expect Sikhs to be a majority in any part of India, when they are the ethnic minority which is most at threat, and has been. Use you brain to work out the last year that the Indian government or its Panjab counterparts were not involved in the death of a Sikh. You would have to go back many decades. If your government is killing us, how are we supposed to make up the difference in numbers? Are you a mug?

  30. Do you see how dangerous of a statement you just made. If just fairy tales to deliver a message then what about Bhagat Dhanna Jatt ji meeting Maharaj. You might say this is a true event, but someone with less knowledge and with a more empirical mindset will tell you that this story can never be and there is a message behind this story. So where or who draws the line of what is a fairy tale to deliver a message or a true event. If you dig enough and sit long enough with atheist in Sikh garb they will tell you that Ik Onkar is something that is with form in its state. They say Maharaj is energy and nothing more. The Guru`s never worshipped Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharj, but praised energy for how it brought life and when this body is at its end, there is no afterlife. This is reality..... meaning there is no reincarnation. Again ask yourself where do you draw the line. This can get very bad in a split second. Which concept is true in Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj and which one is just there to explain the bigger message? Can you be the judge of this, can anyone be the judge? Never not for a second. Nothing Maharaj tells us is a story to tell us a message and not meant literally. The story is true so is the message, so are the characters in the true historical events. Maharaj tells us he speaks the truth and nothing I(Maharaj) says is false. Satguru only speaks the truth. Come to the conclusion that Maharaj is Truth and then you will gain much spiritual wisdom. Every word that Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj speaks is Gurbani. Get a Giani to explain the meaning of Gurbani to you and then your eyes will open up to the reality of Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj. Remember bro this is Gur-Bani. Gur is attributed to Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj in the form of Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj, whose form is the formless and whose grace (Satguru grace) is Satnaam (without any fear or hatred Satguru delivers Naam (to who ever is granted his mercy) and the truth in the form of Shabad Guru). All are interwined with no disconnection.

  41. The strenght of the Nihang Singhs was about 4,000 active soldiers who fought in the campaigns with the main Khalsa army. Cunningham reproduced the Khalsa army structure in his book History of the Sikhs from the Darbar records. The Nihangs fought bravely in the defence of the Sikh state and most were killed at the Battle of Sobroan in 1846 so it would have been difficult to amass large numbers afterwards. A lot ordinary Sikhs did fight alongside the the main Sikh army as well so they could increase numbers by a few thousand, Those Nihangs were on a different level from many of those today where today we see Guru Gobind Singh Ji being ridiculed daily by fake Babas, Cults and indirectly by the Government but no action is taken by the Nihangs.

  44. Everything Sikhs do amongst themselves and others has got something to do with Khalistan. This just highlights the <banned word filter activated>, over emotional, knee <admin-profanity filter activated>, reactionary responses to challenges many of our brethren have. If this is not faced and resolved now - theoretically it could tear any Khalistan apart as Sikhs submerge themselves in orgies of violence in the face of some controversy. What would be next? Hanging people for their views or book burning? This is plainly Taleban style. Our own Gurus gave an example of debate (siddha gosht) with people they didn't agree with - not this crap. Even Guru Gobind Singh advised Singhs to avoid the sangat of 5 mel groups - not beating them up or eliminating them.

  45. This is the scariest thing for some of us long term Khalistani supporters. Theoretically, if we are ever blessed with this - will this be the type of activity that takes place? I've always thought that no society will agree totally on any one point (the last time something like that nearly happened was with the Nazis in Germany - look where that went). What kind of attitude would people have towards people who hold radically different views from them? Will we see violence being dispensed by a power drunk, righteous "thought police" Taleban style? People could've let the old man have his views and leave him to it. He offered a debate - he should have been defeated there!! I can't believe some <banned word filter activated> posted that what has happened was "chardhi kala" in some way. Is that the kind of idiots we have in the panth? I hope we never get Khalistan if morons like this have any say on anything. Go give KPS Gill a call instead of showing "anakh" on some buddha and his family. Are Sikhs unable to disagree without being disagreeable.

  46. can sum1 clarify with bani something for me. and not with ur own thoughts. wen maharaj says only when all other means has expired only then is it righteous to take up arms. is maharaj talking about arms as in weapons or is he talking about any kind of violence like giving sum1 a slap etc. cus in this incident weapons wernt used. i always thought maharajs words was in reference to weapons. if sum1 needs a slap every now and then this doesnt count does it? for example if a child messes about and a parent slaps him. im not condoning wat happened. i dont even know the full story to have any comment on it. all i know is sikhs have gone soft. a sikh pushes sum1 and everyone starts crying, lol toughen up man and stop blowing things outta proportion.

  47. Radical? More like Terrorist can't fight the Indian govt instead these so called Taksalis - GurSikhs go around attacking families ,go fight the real enemy - bunch of idiots, hope the Panjab Police pick them up then we see whos a GurSikh or not You dont even know what happened. So shut the hell up. The dude was beaten up for saying Guru Granth Sahib was not given Gurtagaddi by Guru Gobind Singh. No you shut the hell up , OOoOoO he said Gurgadi wasn't given ,well incase you or these Taksali puppets did not know the Kookeh have been claiming that and hundreds of other things for over a hundred years where were the Panthic soorma's then????? Why not go raid that Behni place of the Kooka place???????????????When they insult our Guru for over hundred years, claim Guru Gobind Singh got shook and hid cos he couldnt take the Sahibzadehs shaheedi , claim Gurmuki is a British invention along with anand karaj burn angs of GURU SAAB where are people like you and them then? Them mans should read this crap and learn about REAL THREATS instead of idiots who write crap and who are not a threat http://namdhari.faithweb.com/ People like them can go out for little fish ,but when a Physical Challenge in front of Guru Granth Sahib has been there for over a hundred years ie :Namdharis with with their sheer crap stories no one says nothing and still call them Sikhs .Just shows what a bunch of ****************** these fake taksalis are Ouch looks like some painful juthia there!! As usual theres bound to be more to the story then the news article above. Wonder what else will come out over the next few days, either way, the police will prob deal with it as it does seem excessive! Just reading the usual garbage posted by sarpanch made me laugh again. What i love is that sitting in england it is so ever so easy to throw allegations at those in punjab. Are there namdharis in southall? yes. Has sarpanch and his 'crew' dealt with them since they are doing all this beadbi? NO. Was sarpanch and his 'crew' around when sirsa stuff was happening? yes. Did any of them go to india to fight? did any of them go to sirsa? Did any of them deal with the baba? NO. Can sarpanch and his crew actually read gurbani, do santhia, katha, gatka etc etc? Not sure, but answer is probably NO. Can sarpanch and crew post some you tube videos? HECK YEH!!!!! From reading the news piece it does look excessive, but theres bound to be more to it then stated. It may not mean much to other people, but even in the news piece it says that he was asked to apologise on 2 occasions, each time refusing. I would bet that this was in addition to the usual punjabi akhar you know the 'do what you like i aint afraid brruah' kinda thing. and well if thats happened, then in punjab you will get juthia. it doesnt make it right, but its the way things work out there. its hard for us westerners to understand sometimes. Either way, of course everyone has the right to agree or disagree with anothers actions, but lets not be hypocrites and just mouth off when we dont do nothing ourselves. And using *** to disguise swear words is pathetic. If you want to do something better then the people there are doing sarpanch, there are flights to punjab every day, fly over and deal with these guys, deal with the naamdharis, deal with the diff dodgy dere etc etc. Or just sit here and mouth off. I wonder what your going to do? hmmm We also have very short memories, from reading the chattar/jeevan story, the papers then mentioned a 'radical group' and everyone was saying well done!! could it be the same guys? when the sirsa stuff was going on and a 'radical group' was going agaianst the jathedhars and demanding action agasint sirsa and saying stuff the apologies and eveyone said yes to them ... could they also be the same guys ...? Food for thought hey? Oh and one other thing. The people who get involved in stuff like this are probably aware that when they get picked up by the police they will get badly beaten and tortured. Many of these guys have probably already been tortured on a number of occasions. Puts things into a different light when you realise that doing anything in punjab will have a VERY painful reaction from the police. much easier to talk here, but walking the walk there is very difficult and painful. Final comment is that i dont intend to justify the above act, just adding some comments to help think outside the box.

  48. If author article is blampheous against dhan sri guru granth sahib ji, he should be charged strictly playing with religious sentiments by law..if no vail after many tries with author to correct it and with law agencies then take the matter on your hands. These fanatics who think they have right to assault innocent family members including author without any discussion or attempts using law should be charged with assault by taking law in their own hands..this kinda mob mentality were the cause of failed movement.. i don't care if they are from taksal, harkhowale, rara sahib, nihang samparda or any jatha or samparda.. this kind of mob mentality have no religion and has no place in sikhi.
