  1. Earlier there was an attack on a Kabul Gurdwara killing many people. There was an evacuation of Sikhs out of Afghanistan. Then there were complaints by some Afghani Sikhs that were left to their own devices in India. These Sikhs did nor want to go to India where they would be poorer but relatively safer and had to start from scratch. They wanted to go to Canada instead. It is like providing a hot cup of coffee for a cold, homeless person and then they demand you get them a Skinny mocha latte from Starbucks. These same Sikhs wanted to go back to Afghanistan instead staying in India. There are 140 remaining Sikhs left. They prefer to be a more prosperous community in a hell-hole of a country but be in more danger. Money is more important for them than their survival. I feel for my fellow brothers and sisters but our offer to help them is not well reciprocated or appreciated. Generosity can only go so far.

  4. Dunno, maybe crack them open and read for them for yourself in order to answer your question. I think it's a pretty reliable source. Baba Sumer Singh Ji, Mahant of Takht Patna Sahib, was part of Giania Bunga whose educational/scholarly institution traces their lineage back to the likes of Bhai Mani Singh all the way to Maharaj themselves. I also believe Mahakavi Santokh Singh Ji belonged to this Bunga.

  5. So the oldest reference to five 'takhts' you could find was from 1880 (172 years after Guru Gobind Singh, touching the 20th century) ? Are these takhts mentioned by name in Suraj Parkash or Gur Bilas, or other older scriptures ?

  9. I don't think we can blame the majority of the law abiding citizens. The british during their Raaj have distilled divide and conquer mentality, back stabbing , money is king tactics in the indian blood. Which today in my opinion helps those that are most vulnerable, and those corrupt individuals know how to exploit this. The British stopped Maharaj Dalip Singh going back to Punjab and take back his rule , they played every tactic to stop him and succeeded, otherwise I think Punjab would have been thee place to be. Those tactics by GOI/Police are still played now over the years we have seen protestors been shut down , abused, framed by the Police. A lot of the youngsters especially in Punjab want to go out to other countries as there are hardly any opportunities. GOI need to sort out 3 basic tenants of a country , 1) Health system 2)Police 3) Education . Its shocking that GOI on Republic day they are parading around the border showing off their weapons rather than focusing on the farmers protest and COVID19. Those few that stand up for rights are targeted. As it canbe seen from the Farmers protest. further South , those who have well paid jobs, are educated are brainwashed by media , hence think its only an issue up North and in Punjab. No one talks , if they do its against us.

  12. Prepare to fight and beat Russia in a Third World War, Britain's top general warns: New UK Army commander tells troops to brace for European land war in tub-thumping message as tyrant Putin menaces ex-Soviet states Britain's top army general has warned UK troops to prepare to fight and beat Putin's armies in a land war General Sir Patrick Sanders warned soldiers 'we must prepare the Army to fight in Europe once again' It comes as Russian tyrant Putin menaces NATO countries and taunts ex-Soviet states in Europe Britain's top army general has told his troops to prepare to fight and beat Putin's armies in a European land war, it has emerged tonight. General Sir Patrick Sanders, who assumed overall command of the British Army this week, warned soldiers 'we are the generation that must prepare the Army to fight in Europe once again' as Russia's invasion of Ukraine rocks global stability. In a tub-thumping message to British troops, he wrote: 'I am the first Chief of the General Staff since 1941 to take command of the Army in the shadow of a land war in Europe involving a continental power... The scale of the enduring threat from Russia shows we've entered a new era of insecurity. 'It is my singular duty to make our Army as lethal and effective as it can be. The time is now and the opportunity is ours to seize.' It comes as Putin menaces NATO countries and this week taunted former Soviet states in Europe by declaring: 'They are part of historic Russia'. Putin made the comments in response to a dramatic statement by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who sensationally declared he did not recognise the self-proclaimed people's republics of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine. Tokayev, sat metres away from the brooding Russian despot at the St Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF) yesterday, described the DPR and LPR as 'quasi-state territories'. 'We don't recognise Taiwan, Kosovo, South Ossetia or Abkhazia... we apply this principle to the quasi-state territories, which in our view, are the Luhansk and Donetsk people's republics', the Kazakh President said in a daring defiance of Putin's war in eastern Ukraine. The Russian President sat quietly, considering Tokayev's comments, before appearing to deliver a calm but quietly menacing warning. 'What is the Soviet Union?' Putin asked rhetorically. 'This is historic Russia.' He went on to paint Kazakhstan as a nation friendly to Russia, but quickly added: 'The same thing could have happened with Ukraine, but they wouldn't be our allies.' Maximilian Hess, a fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, told The Telegraph that Putin's retort to Tokayev was a 'clear threat' and argued that Tokayev was reliant on Russian support following widespread riots in Kazakhstan in January, which were only quelled with the help of Russian paratroopers operating under the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) - an eastern security bloc similar to NATO. In a lengthy speech at the SPIEF conference, Putin went on to accuse the US of 'playing God' and treating countries like 'colonies' as he brushed off the impact of Western sanctions on Russia's economy. Amid a lengthy denunciation of America and its allies, Putin, 69, warned 'nothing will be as it used to be' as he delivered his address, which was delayed by 90 minutes after the event suffered a cyber attack. When he eventually took to the stage, Putin issued a thinly-veiled threat to oligarchs thinking of quitting his regime. 'It's safer in your own house,' he said. 'Those who didn't want to listen to this have lost millions abroad.' He went on to announce that Western allies 'think they have won' and said Moscow's war in Ukraine had become a 'lifesaver for the West to blame all the problems on Russia.' He added that the US considers itself 'God's emissary on Earth', and that Western sanctions were founded on a false premise that Russia had no economic sovereignty. Moving on to focus on his so-called 'special military operation', Putin said the main aim of the incursion was to defend 'our' people in the largely Russian-speaking Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. Putin said the Russian soldiers in the Donbas were also fighting to defend Russia's own 'rights to secure development'. 'The West has fundamentally refused to fulfil its earlier obligations, it turned out to be simply impossible to reach any new agreements with it,' Putin said. 'In the current situation, against a backdrop of increasing risks for us and threats, Russia's decision to conduct a special military operation was forced - difficult, of course, but forced and necessary.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10930527/Prepare-fight-beat-Russia-World-War-Britains-general-warns.html

  15. Probably around 4-5 meters. However, at max all you're gonna need to do is tie 4-5 larhs. Once you get the basics you can play around with it and adjust the style to your liking.

  16. Haven't found videos but it's pretty easy. All you need is the full voile material. Here is a video that has similar steps but I'll tell you what things you need to do differently. Tie your joora up and start the video when the Singh begins to tie his yellow material. Okay, here are the different steps you need to do. With his yellow material, this Singh makes a triangle base larh and covers his ears. What you wanna do is go above your ears. Once you do this step, cover the triangle (like he does). This is personal preference, but if you want material to show on the side of your dastar you tie your second larh slightly above (this Singh wants to show the whole material on the side). If you wanna keep it like you see in the frescos, you basically go over your first larh again and cover the triangle. At this stage, you'll have something similar to this, only difference is that your material wont be covering your ears and you won't have a bunga/keski. Now, you have to pull material from this larh out to cover your joora. Pull this material over to cover it and use your free hand to hold it down. While holding it down, tie your third larh over to secure the material. This will give you the shape you see in the puratan pictures where the Singhs jooras would stick out. You can also do the joora covering step after you do your third larh and secure it with your forth. Again, personal preference. For the forth larh, you just wanna go ever so slightly above your third larh, almost as if the two are blended. Make sure for both your third and forth, you go low from the back (occipital bone region). Tuck in the remaining material and that should be it.

  17. Even if this war was to end shortly, the long term fallout from this is probably going to last generations. It's going to redefine Europe, and Russia's moves to counter balance their future without a vulnerable co-dependency on pro-NATO states may change things elsewhere too. Unless Europe manages to place a puppet in Putin's place after he's gone. And you're right, there is no telling which way this war is really going. The UK is only reporting it as a shambles for the Russians (mainly), but we don't know what the reality is. If Russia gets a solid hold of the port cities they are contesting that'll probably change global economics, but knowing the west, they'll be there long term covertly trying to derail and sabotage it all. The most important thing I've learnt from all this is just how big a player Russia is in the oil game (never knew before) and just how much the rest of Europe depends on crops produced in eastern Europe.

  19. The article does not do any justice at all its one sided. Why did the Singhs take it in their own hands to get justice, because the local/central government and doing nothing at all. The organisers behind this are paying good money to those doing beadbi and when handed in to the Police walk free after 2-3 days , thats how they entice them to do such acts. But not this time , the Singhs did good , the world needs to know Guru Granth sahib Ji Maharaj is the king of kings , the Guru for the sikhs . enough is enough no more beadbi or suffer the consequences. when one fights for the truth and seeks justices , does not run away and hide. Thats the beauty of Sikhy and its teachings. The Singh ( one in a million) felt the pain but had the courage to do something about it , respect to him and may he stay in Chardi-kala. He felt his duty was done , and handed himself in as to say " I have seeked justice for my Guru , my job is done do whatever you want of me, but let this be a lesson to those who think twice of doing such atrocities. The justice system has done nothing about it , the perpetrators will think twice about committing such crimes again. ( I sincerely hope they do) The downside of it is media , painting the wrong picture and the Sikhs being wrongfully attacked/abused . This is where I think the main big gurudawara should fund projects to educate the people village to village regards to what is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji maharaj and preach that anyone seeking help , struggling in life the Gurudawaras are open to all and can guide /help them. Obviously this will take time and changing the mindset of the people is a enormous task , but i think we must start somewhere.

  20. Parent 1. Obviously it depends on the content and the aim of the school. It would be good to have all aspects of Sikhi in one place which has authenticity. No too much pressure for them to learn and churn out material to sit exams. It would be more of quality rather than quantity . 2. Support level , to get a clear understanding what will be taught and the kids and parents expectations right from the beginning. 3. Yes Cost does matter. We have 100's of Gurudawara who should have a budget set aside to invest in the kids and our future generation. So ideas such as this can be researched and developed without thinking about funding. If the cost was reasonable I would pay plus as already mentioned if free its not taken seriously. 4. Self paced is good , but there needs to be a facility where questions can be answered. May be have one or 2 live sessions and the rest self paced. Sangat 1. Yes there should be tiers , but I think most importantly the material should be authentic. As theres a lot of online material , which ones are good resources , average and bad . 2. May be set up some kind of certification structure for sikhi which over time is recognized and can be used by individuals to train/educate other members of the public. Like many certification courses , they cost but not too much ( starting form £10 plus) The task should be to get as many people doing the online courses as possible, then the price can be low and you will cover your costs. 3.It should be focused to all the public regardless of their background. Made available to businesses ,schools, colleges, universities as part of the establishments diversification program. You have organisations such as Basics of Sikhi , Rajoana TV , Sikh Network etc.. who are doing a brillant job of explaining about sikhi. Tap in to them , make it a collective journey as you may find , they may already have a structure , resources in place , they just need a proper online presence. Reach out to the Sangat who have gyan about Sikhi via social media and Gurudawara , as there are many Scholars out their. Why is Basics of Sikhi successful , because they keep it simple , easy to understand and follow. As a parent one of the biggest hurdles for kids is speaking punjabi. Having dialogue with their parents/grandparents . My younger one , hardly speaks punjabi , but what I have found is sikh stories helps a lot. May be have online live sessions where sangat speak punjabi , general punjabi so at least they can particpate in conversations with the elder generation.

  21. I don't think that works, I've seen it tried over the years (like with French wine) but people essentially want what they want and separate it from politics. I mean we still probably all get cheap Chinese manufactured stuff, despite them being positioned as the global evil of our current time. And I think if anybody is going to 'veto' things, pharmaceuticals manufactured at a rate that is massively lower than if they had been manufactured in the west, would be the last thing on the list. I think people in general seem largely unconcerned with global 'human rights' in this day and age (if ever they were concerned and not just using it for political leverage).

  22. In my opinion , the government obviously want the farmers out of delhi . On Akaal channel a statement came out to arrest Deep Sidhu and carry out a full investigation. They also mentioned extra armed forces and internet blackout has been deployed. 18 Police officers were injured. This asks the question will they use this against the farmers and force them out of Delhi , hopefully not causing any bloodsched? There are other people aligned as well for investigation but names were not released. This is basically social media and TV media at its best. I think in one way the government have what they seeked out to get from day one. The farmers split , people going against the morcha . The fact that there was hardly any media coverage during the 60 days plus when peaceful protest were going on. There was no media coverage when some groups wanted to harm the morcha and it was the farmers who were carrying out security activities. There was no media coverage when there was conspiracy to kill the 4 farmer leaders .There were no media coverage when fake police officers with no name badges did latee charge. There were probably many many more incidents that occurred which the whole world are not aware of. The only real media is here in the UK( Akaal,Sikh,KTV,Sangat) that go in at ground level to get to the truth. But I think the problem is how do we get it out there to the masses. This is propaganda at its best reminds me of Hitlers propaganda against the jews defaming them in any way shape and form and getting the masses turn against and blame the jews. I think we can only stay positive and carry on with the Morcha. even if the farmers are removed forcefully from delhi. The farmers should create there own leadership ,and setup there own agenda so that all farmers are benefitted such as install solar panels in villages , get there water setup , get there own buyers of produce . As the sangat are willing to donate within India and internationally for a good cause. So I don't think money would be an issue if shared and used wisely. The farmers create there own Monopoly bypass aid from the government . It will be a challenge. May Waheguru provide guidance and support to those true souls who are fighting for a true cause.

  23. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh This is a discussion thread I've been meaning to make for a while now. Now is a time where I believe such a movement is necessary for the Sikh panth. For those whom may not know, the Singh Sabha movement (Punjabi: “Society of the Singhs”) Was a 19th-century movement within Sikhi that began as a defense against the proselytizing activities of Christians and Hindus. Its chief aims were the revival of the teachings of the Sikh Gurus (spiritual leaders), the production of religious literature in Punjabi, and a campaign against illiteracy. It seems we have found ourselves in a similar situation. We all have seen the news. Everyday it seems like something new happens. Conflict after conflict, internal fighting, piss poor leadership, lack of parchar/education among the youth, caste discrimination, I mean the list could go on and on. Should there be a modern day Singh Sabha movement? How would a modern day Singh Sabha movement even look like? What would the main goals be? How would those goals be achieved?

  27. Unfortunately the modern day Nihang Dals aren't even the same as those in the past. These guys openly let missionaries convert Sikhs. No Puratan Nihang would let that happen. As I stated before, they could easily set up camp at various villages at start doing parchar. Just because you're a Nihang doesn't mean you can't be called out. Everyone needs to be held accountable. Whether you may be Taksali, Nihang or whatever. It's a failure that falls collectively. Its been this way for a while, ever since the annexation of the Panjab by the British. Now... We all know the SGPC simply will not give up its power. The return to Sikhi in Panjab has essentially been confined by the greed of money, and the lust for power. This is all among our own. In the West, we have the good old committees... Whose only concern is to pump out campaigns for free food (Not saying its bad) But that ain't going to cut it. People are literally just going to the gurdwara for food. Don't get me started on the Nagar Kirtans... Instead of preparing to give their positions up to the younger generation, like in the past, these guys are literally starting up their careers. Dissolving these systems are crucial. We have to return to our Gurus form of leadership with the Panj Pyare. One thing I can accept about the previous Singh Sabha was them pumping out literature. In a modern day sense, the internet is our best bet. Bhai Jagraj Singh was already onto something. However, it looks like Basics of Sikhi has really fell off ever since his passing. There are many who are passionate, it's all about letting those individuals into leadership positions.

  28. Good post and question. I totally agree we need something , in my opinion I think :- 1. Have clearly defined roles and responsibilities . such as a team that can tackle Gurudawara issues , a team to tackle social media issues , a team to tackle political issues , a team to educate all , a team for sports issues/activities etc... We have a lot of organisations here in the UK that are already doing this such as Sikh network , Basics of Sikhi , Sikh Federation , Sikh Council UK ( Do we need to bring them all together ?) and will they be willing to work together ? Recently there has been a split in Sikh Council UK , due to disputes between different factions ? ( Sikh Council UK was good , but not publicized very well , now disputes/splits , the question arises will anything work , I think yes if we have the right people . 2. Pay the people For those chosen , give them a wage ( The Gurudawara can fund this , or even the sangat. We have to hit the masses ( can use Sikh Channels to do so , if we clearly define the roles and objectives) .If there are approximately 700,000 Sikhs in the UK , each give £1 a week , we have in a month 2.8 million pounds. This can be used to pay the selected persons , and I think we can all spare £1 a week. 3. Give power to the selected body Here in the UK , once a panel of people have been selected it should go to the Government and ask them to give powers ( maybe similar to the charity commission) , such that they can serve appropriate penalties to those who are going against sikhi . (If one knows slating Sikhi in any way, shape or form means punishment , the perpetrator's will think twice about doing bad deeds) 4. All need to be doing the same Regardless of which Gurudawara one goes to , all should follow the same mariyada , and stop opening too many Gurudawara in the same area due to personal conflict. 5. Involve the young Get the youth involved more , give them more responsibility may be advised by the experienced and older generation. 6. Use the TV channels Educate and inform the community . We have 4 Sikh channels , mostly all of them are doing the same ( i.e. news , path , more news , bit of hot topics , more news ) … with the funding setup research centres in the UK , so proper research of sikhi can be done with visual aids and presented on the channels. One of them can be the Sikh History starting from 14th Century ( from Hindu/sufi rule , to Mugal/Persian rule , to Gurus times , Maharaja Ranjeet Singh times, British Raaj etc...). I think if we know our history , one can realise the sacrifices Sikhs made so we can have the life we have today . You never know some diamonds may arise and lead the way . I think India is a different kettle of fish , makes my blood boil when I see a sikh being beaten , kesh pulled , distaar taken off , and this is by the Police , who should be the protectors but rather they are the abusers. Hence no one really stands up , incase they are framed and banged up in jail.

  29. oh yes, and also I remember there was unification of Jathas under Nawab Kapur Singh, unification in Dal Khalsa and then split under Budha Dal and Tarna Dal. Do we need another reunification, maybe absorb some of the colonial era jathas into the dals? If there was a sarbat Khalsa held by dal Khalsa to do this, if we are able to get the Budha Dal leader to be respected again like Nawab Kapur Singh, Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and Akali Phoola Singh, then these jathe could be absorbed into Dal Khalsa and keep the anti-dasam views and corrupted maryadas in-check. Anyone unwilling to join would be treated like maybe the Phulkian states, they were the ones who kept out of Dal Khalsa right? might have got the states wrong but I am sure there were some Singhs who didn't join Dal Khalsa during Misl era and Ranjit Singh kingdom era.

  31. 100 percent agree with this. Our people are crooked. We slander, discriminate, and fight among ourselves. My concern is really just taking back our gurdwaras and returning to our Gurus system with the Panj Pyare. It hurts seeing the state of the panth. The lack of parchar and knowledge about Sikhi. Everyone is money hungry. They keep on boasting on about Khalistan but fight over little things.

My bad wording apologies Ji...Sikhi is the truth its not a religion i know ... Point is we dont have much voice in India, we know whats happening but here in West we need to start ppl telling about Sikhi the Khalsa Raj not a watered down version of 'Sikhi' or 'Hippy 3ho' version...more than we are just about 'free food' and langar Bhul Chuk Maff ?

  38. Sometimes the truth hurts and for those who live their lives wearing rose tinted glasses the truth hurts them the most. What kind of a question is "who was Bhai Mardana?" As is the personage of Bhai Mardana is enough to clinch your argument. Using such tactics is the lowest form of debate. Either show where Bhai Mardana was, lived his life as and died a Muslim. Otherwise you are just playing games. Interesting enough Bhai Mardana was cremated by Guru Nanak himself. I thought you had to be buried if you were a Muslim? Here is a fresco from Baba Atal Gurdwara depicting the cremation of Bhai Mardana by Guru Nanak and Bhai Bala near the town of Kurram.

  39. I think the documentary was good . It did not do justice to the interfaith marriage , just showed one view but did not actually explain what Anand Kharaj is and why Sikhs oppose interfaith marriage if the other party do not believe in maharaj jis values. I think that part of the footage portrayed Sikhs as thugs. Bhai Jagraj Singh summed it up well , "where do we get our sikhi from" , how qualified are we to comment on sikhi. ( which made me think , how much Sikhi do I know and follow …….very little ) The Singhs who covered their faces , why ? They should have explained what Maharaj Ji is telling the sangat , rather than covering up faces , trying to hide something. Be proud and truthful so one can stand anywhere in the world without covering up because one is speaking and acting truthfully. From the documentary I think Sunny is realizing what Sikhi is and the message Jagraj Singh has been preaching . Which is a good thing . The message about sikhi camps I think was true , where the sangat get more from Sikhi Camps than the Gurudawara in terms of spirituality, dialogue , information easy to understand etc.. This I think we need to learn upon and bring into the Gurudawaras more. I think documentaries around Sikhi should be positive , encouraging and motivating because Sikhi is that and much more . Issues that effect the Sangat which relate to Sikhi such as Anand Kharaj , should show both views and not snippits and I guarantee you the Gurus message will come on top all the time. The beautiful message of Sukhmani Kaur when Sunny was saying he doesn't feel anything relating to Sikhi , she replied its because you need to experience it and not just read it for knowledge.

I think we need a national / international database registering all amritdhari baptized Sikhs , detailing , when they took Amrit , there address when baptized etc... , and issue each with ID cards. So that sikhi is not targeted , hope i'm very wrong but the way kaljug is spreading in this world , whats stopping a dushman of sikhi , dressing up as a baptized sikh and misusing the articles of faith , especially the kirpan.

  43. Guest Eone You "wanting to be with anyone" is your choice . If you , your family , the girl and girls family all agree then thats fine. However , now if the Sikh Girl and you want to get married in a Gurudawara and partake in the Anand Karaj , then both MUST follow a code of conduct . Anand Karaj (blissful/joyful Union)is the most important marriage ceremony for a Sikh , and the one that counts. Basically for a Sikh you go round the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj ( Holy Sikh scrupture containing the word of God ,spoken through the Sikh Gurus and blessed Saints) four times .( each round The Guru tells you how the Union of 2 Souls can be merged with the almighty ( I wont go into this is detail , but can do if required or you can research Anand Karaj for your self and come back with any queries as there are alot of learned Gursikhs on this forum who can provide guidance) Note:- Very important point, you are going around the the Guru , not each other , or family members. But focal point, center point being the Guru ( Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj) So , you are in fact binding to an agreement with your self and the Guru. Now if you dont believe this , or dont believe in the Sri Guru Grant Sahib Ji Maharaj as the Sikh holy scrupture , the word of God . Then simple , dont partake in the Anand Karaj , you can still take blessings from the Guru , have Giani's( preists) recite Kirtan(spiritual songs) , do an ardas for you ( prayers) , have a Civil registry wedding) but not Anand Karaj. As if you partake in the Anand Karaj but not accepting the Gurus message , then it becomes false , then why do it if you have no belief. ( Both parties must agree to this) This is not a one day thing , taking part in the Anand Karaj you are accepting Sikhi and its teachings and will be a life time task. Aiming to become one with the almighty. Regular visits to the Gurudawara , taking part in selfless service , listening and reading to Gurbani , helping others, bettering yourself , enhancing your spiritual journey etc.. The best thing is , this is all brilliant , whats wrong with surrendering yourself to the Guru , and learning , bettering yourself mentally and physically , helping others . Your marriage will be amazing if both partners are on the same path ( you'll have your ups and downs) but the beauty is Guru Maharaj will guide and help you all the way. 44. I believe everyone wants the perfect partner , good looking , good character , etc... who doesnt ....but the attraction can be developed over the years and with action. Action by the way one is behaving , seeing each other as friends , sharing your experiences together , attraction will definitely come. Above all have faith in Guru Maharaj , seek guidance from Guru Maharaj , ask Guru ji this question from within your heart and your question will be answered. If physical attraction is a negative and positives outweigh the negatives , then that may be an element to consider. I know a friend who was in the same position as you , got married to someone he was not physically attracted to. but in his circumstances he got married had the Anand Karaj so there was no turning back . For several months . he was sad but plucked up the courage to stick to his vows. He put all his faith in Guru Maharaj , started to go to the Gurudawara , speaking to Guru Maharaj , asking for help .Guru Maharj 100% helped him . Now you cant get him away from his wife , the bond is so strong , its an inspiration. He often says he was a moorakh , but made a decision to change his mindset with Guru Maharaj;s guidance. Before you make a commitment , see the guy again , talk to him have general conversation and then contemplate , and decide whether , he is for you or not.

  45. Problem is so bad my eldest was beaten up and bullied by mona sikhs when he attended a sikh school ...when he was 3 ! These people are so full of fear and hatred that they are willing to attack a baby for wearing a patka . Reet is a person who is fear-filled because she believes media stories and rumour mills but she probably has no real experience of good true Gursikhs . Sikhi is the path of True Love

  46. if they want to stop following sikhi then they should found their own place without Guru ji and vacate the property paid for by the sangat . I'm sure everyone by now has read how because they were thwarted in their plan to have a party hall where they would serve meat and alcohol , the main ringleader sold the hall to himself and reapplied for the same stuff and now they have the cheek to suggest that the gurdwara's carpark be used by people going to that venue .

  47. This is scary stuff , idiots like this obviously not Sikh , but giving Sikh point of view. Do you know if Jon Gaunt Show ,has been emailed stating this jon@talk2meradio.com @talk2meradiouk @jongaunt . If not maybe good idea for sangat to email, tweet Jon in masses , and tell him the truth maybe then he can have another show on this , where members of the sangat are invited and views aired as to people outside of Sikhi pretending to be Sikh and giving false information, trying to damage Sikhi .

I appreciate and understand if sangat ji has other committments , Kema dha ja chak hay Wahe Guru Ji ka khalsa Wahe Guru Ji ke fateh
