  1. Many Gurmukhs have come into this world without being scammed by maya. 10th Patshahi was Dusht Daman previously, but did not get scammed by Maya. Anyone who adheres to the teachings of SGGS will not get scammed. Guru Nanak’s Sikhs will attain the status that even the above three could not reach…

The officers suffered knife injuries during the violence at New Square Shopping centre, in West Bromwich, West Midlands last July. Parminder Hunjan, aged 36, and Maninder Hunjan, 26, were found not guilty of attempted murder at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday. They are due to be sentenced on 9 May. IMAGE SOURCE, WEST MIDLANDS POLICE Image caption, Parminder Hunjan (R) and Maninder Hunjan (L) have been found guilty of wounding with intent PCs Leon Mittoo and James Willetts were attacked after trying to question the defendants, who had been spotted carrying large backpacks and wearing gloves on the sunny day. "One of the men ran towards me screaming brandishing something and swinging around erratically," said PC Willetts. "They continued to run towards us screaming. I could see Leon getting chased so I started heading towards him but then I suddenly felt a massive sharp pain in the back of my head and my helmet went flying on to the floor," he added. PC Mittoo suffered a slash wound to his forehead and hand, as well as cuts and scratches. IMAGE SOURCE, WEST MIDLANDS POLICE Image caption, The brothers were found to be carrying a significant amount of weapons, police said The brothers were found in possession of rucksacks containing a "significant stash" of weapons, including a machete, an imitation gun, balaclavas and large quantities of cash, said West Midlands Police. All motives were considered but no evidence was found linking the brothers to terrorism, the force added. Chief Supt Ian Green said: "We still don't know why the attack occurred, we may never know the answer to that, what I do know is that our officers saved people's lives that day." Both men, of Frank Road, Smethwick, were found guilty of wounding with intent and possession of an imitation firearm. They had previously admitted possessing offensive weapons.

  8. No Financial regulations in India. If there are some then they are not put in work. Loan sharks are more easily available. Bank loans are not there for them. City elites discriminate against rural folks and all farming vendors/networking are being controlled by these city elites. Not everyone is aware of finance terms/agreements and due to Lack of education not everyone can understand it. Farmers take bad loans and then they pay it with their life. There is no collective farming (like Israel do). Farmers agitation happened and they repeal the laws. Good. Now what? They are dropping all of their stuff at the Adani warehouse only because the unloading facilities are the best as comparable with other vendors in market. (Not the good rates). So, all these protests for what result? Giving business back to the same guy who made the laws. Imagine Jews driving around mercedes soon after world war 2 (somee still don't drive german cars).

  11. https://unherd.com/2021/04/swedens-migrant-rape-crisis/ Sweden’s migrant rape crisis European liberals never ask uncomfortable questions about immigration BY AYAAN HIRSI ALI When carrying out research for my new book Prey, I was constantly frustrated by the lack of reliable data on almost every aspect of the problematic relationship between mass migration and sexual violence. Statistics were either a tangle of changing definitions of “sexual assault” or — in the case of a number of countries, including Sweden — they weren’t available at all. That has now changed thanks to the work of the social scientists Ardavan Khoshnood, Henrik Ohlsson, Jan Sundquist and Kristina Sundquist. In a recent issue of the journal Forensic Sciences Research, they published a paper on “Swedish rape offenders”, in which they analyse the characteristics of individuals between 15-60 years old who were convicted of “rape+” against women in Sweden between 2000 and 2015. The term “rape+” here refers to both acts of rape and attempted rape, including aggravated cases. The researchers found that, within that time-frame, a total of 3,039 offenders were convicted of rape+ against a woman in Sweden — nearly all of whom (99.7%) were men. According to the researchers, Swedish-born offenders with Swedish-born parents accounted for 40.8% of the offenders. But, strikingly, almost half of the offenders were born outside of Sweden (47.7%). Of those foreign-born offenders, 34.5% were from the Middle East/North Africa, with 19.1% hailing from the rest of Africa. As a percentage of all convicted perpetrators, therefore, 16.4% were foreign-born individuals from the Middle East/North Africa, and 9.1% were foreign-born individuals from Africa (excluding North Africa). How far does this signify over-representation? On the basis of population records kept by the official agency Statistics Sweden (SCB), approximately 20% (19.7%) of the Swedish population are foreign-born individuals. Among those convicted of rape and perpetrated rape, the foreign-born account for 47.7% of those convicted — so they are over-represented by a factor of 2.4. Moreover, if we piece various statistics together, we find there are 565,902 foreign-born people living in Sweden who were born in North Africa and the Middle East, representing 4.9% of Sweden’s population. Yet 16.4% of those convicted of rape and attempted rape are foreign-born individuals from North Africa and the Middle East: over-representation by a factor of 3.3. And that figure rises to 4.7 when you consider all foreign-born citizens from Africa (excluding North Africa.)

  12. I knew they had been fined for something, but was surprised this morning to switch on Sky TV Channel 771, and it was not there ! They present very informative shows on Sikh community and what is going on in Panjab https://www.ofcom.org.uk/news-centre/2022/ktv-licence-suspended Ofcom suspends KTV’s licence following serious breach of broadcasting rules TV and on-demand News Ofcom has today suspended Khalsa Television Limited’s licence (PDF, 279.9 KB) to broadcast after an investigation found the KTV channel in breach of broadcasting rules (PDF, 695.9 KB). The KTV television channel broadcasts to the Sikh community in the United Kingdom. Our investigation found that Prime Time, a 95-minute live discussion programme, included material likely to incite violence. The presenter of the programme made a number of statements throughout the programme which, taken together, promoted violent action, including murder, as an acceptable and necessary form of action to further the Khalistani cause. This was a serious breach of our rules on incitement of crime and disorder. Given the serious nature of this breach, and for the reasons set out in our suspension notice, we are today suspending Khalsa Television Limited’s licence to broadcast in the UK with immediate effect. Khalsa Television Limited now has 21 days in which to make representations to Ofcom. Following this process, we will decide whether to revoke Khalsa Television Limited’s licence.

They had an incident in 2019 also where they were fined. ‘Jeeta’ the presenter involved in current incident is one of the main men of the channel, and the CEO (but I think, not owner) not sure it will be as simple as you have suggested KTV is from what I have seen, the most ‘Panthic’ oriented of the 4 Sikh channels (until Politics Punjab as the fifth channel started up around 6 months ago) and , I think Jeeta’s family were affected by killing of innocents in the 80’s/90’s.

She said: 'My husband is happy and healthy and I'm looking after him. We don't want his past life all dredged up again on TV and in newspapers. 'I know what he did, he knows, and he paid penalty for that, he doesn't need to be reminded.' Darwin, 71, has made a new life in the Philippines with mother-of-three Mercy, who is 23 years his junior, after his release from prison over his £679,000 life insurance scam (inset, Darwin with his first wife Anne). MailOnline tracked the couple down to Mercy's hometown in Antipolo, an hour's drive from the capital, where they own a £30,000 three-storey house with grilled windows in the relatively affluent gated community of Louiseville. Mercy blasted the new TV series 'The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe', which starts this month. She is angry that the ITV drama, starring Eddie Marsan and Monica Dolan (pictured inset top), chronicling Darwin's great deception, will once again put her husband under the spotlight.

  22. There is actually a thriving Mexican Sikh community mainly in Mexico City. There are many Mexican converts to Sikhi mainly through 3HO but also there are Sikh businessmen and their families living there. Mexican people tend to have the same family values as us and although they are Catholics many are very open minded to Dharmic philosophies. These Afghan Sikhs are very astute in business so they should thrive as they have done in other countries. They usually make decision as a community so they might decide to go to the US but because they have got political asylum in Mexico they will probably get denied asylum in the US. If they had gone directly to the US they would have got asylum very easily.

India claims to be democracy but it cant even enforce or uphold basic laws. As bad as the west can be atleast we can live comfortably and all you need is laymen knowledge on the hidden agendas of the west to not be a victim (which many apney lack) if things ever go sour here minority of woke/about that life apney bandhey can mobolize quickly and fight back

I dont think many of uk ppl are aware of this because in canada it is seen as apneh are more high class or upper class but that is just a small and vocal minority there are is a silent minority of us regardless of caste who are livining in hard times

  34. i wouldn't neccesirally agree. My family came to Canada in the late 80s or early 90s. i was brought up with sikh morals but never got was steered towards amritdhari or orthodox path. my mom especially taught me about sikh ethics story of our gurus treating everyone equally, morals like no drinking no smoking treat every creature good. respect women upon entering junior high i was shocked when i my family moved me from my public school to a private school which mad mostly apney. during the time i made friends with few apney i remmeber being asked if i was jatt i didnt know what that meant. i also was told that a girl like me and to me this was all foreign i replied innocently i dont date im punjabi ahahaha. even going to SOME weddings of friends i have seen things that are messed up from the way the women dress to the antics but this is not really for all apneh. and i must note tht most apneh in canada r from punjab directly hardly any from africa here. most r rural sikhs from doaba or moga

  36. I'm surprised to learn there are differences in Bani. If Ram rai can be excommunicated for changing the meaning of a verse (to please the emporer), then it should be impossible for a Sikh to change the words or spellings of Bani. Apart from layout differences (which would occur due to variations in handwriting style and page size), the Bani should be identical in all versions. To allow variations can lead to questioning the authenticity and hence validity of Bani. Yes it can lead to attacks from without by muslims and others looking to destroy Sikhs faith in Bani, but it can also lead to disruption from within.

  38. http://vidhia.com/Professor Sahib Singh/About_The_Compilation_of_Sri_Guru_Granth_Sahib_Ji_(English)_-_Prof_Sahib_Singh.pdf The Damdami Bir, according to recent research, is thought to be housed with the Hazuri Sikhs. This book, however, should answer some of your queries.
    1 point
  39. Well, the only difference between the Damdami saroop and the original (Aad) granth was the addition of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji's bani, meaning a difference of only 1.95%. We're not talking about the difference between a originally it was a granth praising Jehovah and stories of the prophets and now we've got a granth (Guru Granth Sahib) praising the all-pervading God and having hymns, not stories. The fact is Guru Tegh Bahadur ji's bani is basically giving the same message as the Aad Granth, with some differences in style and focus. It is not a radically different message. So, what's the worry? Well, isn't it just cute that the Muslims are talking about us not having the Damdami saroop, since its because the jihadis that we lost it in the first place! It's like killing somebody's dad and then taunting him for being an orphan. Also, it is thought that the saroop given Gurgaddi is a different one from the one created at Damdama. So there's that.

  40. There might be few slight variations in puratan saroop of sri guru granth sahib/aad guru granth sahib usually at the very end but the main point remains essence message is not lost, here is one out of many example- for example- IkOngkar Satgurparsad: IkOngkar-One non dual being Satgurpursad-which is eternal awareness bliss realized by satgurparsad - grace of true guru (inner guru-wisdom-awareness and outer-ishat guru- sri guru granth sahib) IS mentioned 523 times in sri guru granth sahib, I think this can be considered common theme/essence message from sri guru granth sahib ji so everyone can agree on, and deeply contemplate on it go through stages- of deep listening-sarvan of gurbani essence truth, following /acknowledging (manan), applying-deeply abiding( nidhashan) in gurbani essence.

Your wording is so rude Bhindran Taksal has over 30 Puratan sroops Bidhi Chand Dal has Baba Bidhi Chand's handwritten saroop Damdama Sahib has Baba Deep Singh Ji's hand written saroop All saroop sahib can be witnessed but if somebody has that respect and shards inside them. Sampardavan all teach the same paat Thee Turbanator needs to terminate himself before he speaks such nonsense filled words! 45. Sexuality is different from Transgender-ism, Gay folk aren't trying to tell people God made a mistake with their body. Comparing Cancer to gender mismatch is like comparing a knife wound to an orange. Cancer can be treated, Cancer patients don't tell people that God made a mistake. They accept it and move on. Transgenders tell people God made a mistake with their gender, they're not willing to accept their body, how can you even argue that feelings such as that are in line with Gurmat. That is from Rehit, These checks were always conducts by the highest Mahapurkhs. You can look through Gurbani about accept yourself for how you are, even if you're disfigured. What's so unique about transgenders that they can't accept that their gender is the one God gave them. It was always classified as a mental disorder, only recently when the PC police arrived that people started taking that out. Trasngenderism is caused by an imbalance in the brain, the Khalsa is the saroop of the Guru. Of course they would make sure the ones who enter into it are able to uphold it without any problems. In alot of cases? Don't exaggerate. Women aren't allowed into the Panj for a valid reason, Mahapurkhs like Sant Jarnail Singh Ji all said women aren't allowed in, Woman already give birth (physical) while men give spiritual birth. There's equality. Just like God gave women a method of birth and involvement in the panth, God also gave men a role too. The Hijra were always around since the time of the Gurus, yet no record of one being inaugurated into the Panth. To argue that a social issue that was around back then is somehow a "modern" development is an insult to the all seeing eye of the Guru. Don't get me wrong, If they want to join that's fine. But they can't call themselves transgender or start telling people God made a mistake. They'll be given the surname Singh if biologically male and Kaur if otherwise a female.

  46. I'm not being harsh lol, im speaking from history. There's a rigorous process to who gets amrit, in the ye olden days they used to do alot of looking into the person. If the person was a muslim the Nihangs used to make them eat pork to fully to prove they weren't muslim anymore (spies and such). Things like transgenderism (gender dysphoria) would be and is a mental disorder. Can you imagine a dude, dressing up as a Singhni? We're meant to accept Hukam, not tell people God made a mistake in giving us this gender.
