Saturday Nights diwaan was packed beyond belief.

People where sitting, standing every square inch they could find. Halls, langar hall, stair wells where all packed with people. There was not a place in the gurdwara that you could be without being shoulder to shoulder with someone else. Even outside and around the gurdwara people where standing in masses just to get in.

Got to the point where the police, fire dept and ambulance where brought to the scene, because of the rush, and the fact that it became a huge fire risk. The lighter side of the night came when after police and fire dept demanded that things be brought under control that Bhai/Sant Ranjit Singh annoucned that he has never in his life before asked that people go home, and that has no clue how to ask Sangat to turn back, and left that for Daljeet Singh who upon making the announcement, Sant/Bhai Ranjit Singh read a dharnaa in regards to never leaving Guru Sahibs side regardless of what happens. (So as you can imagine very little sangat left).

The program lasted until about 10 then anand sahib and ardaas was done.

The programs on Sunday where no different with packed out halls, and to get decent seat one needed to arrive 30 mins if not earlier. After that you where sitting in the packed and sweaty gallaries.

His programs even brought masses into the Gurdwara at 4 AM where an otherwise empty main hall was filled beyond its capacity with everyone doing Simran.

Sant/Bhai Ranjit Singh will be doing there last program tonight at Malton (Monday) at the normal posted times. Starting at 7:30 and going usually up till 9:00.

Tommarow they will travel to BC and hold 3 diwans in Vancover/Surrey. And after that travel to Alberta and hold diwans in Calgary/Edmonton before travelling back to Toronto, holding 3 more diwans and then heading back to India.

Amrit Sanchaars will be being organized in all areas and those details can be gotten from the respective parbhandaks.

The attached image although blurry may help in giving you an idea about how much sangat was there and this was Sunday morning before Sant/Bhai Ranjit Singh's arrival, when people where coming just to get a seat.

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

Wow!!! Those Diwans seem amazing. Is the whole Jatha there, or only a few Gurmukhs with Bhai Ranjit Singh Jee from the Jatha? They need to hold the Diwans in open style tents like they do India.

Can someone confirm when the UK Diwans will be? They're gonna need to come to Havelock Road, Singh Sabha, Southall, and then it might actually fill up for once. :)

Bhuk Chuk Maaf

Waheguroo

PS Canadians - why aren't the recordings up yet? If it was UK, Aman would have had them up within 4 hours on Sikhifm!!! lol :)
