Only Guru ji is our friend the rest ...is dependent on their actions weighed up against gurmat ... remember Guru Gobind Singh ji warned us not to trust EVER those who 'vow' to do something for us or that they will not do something ...so in this case Muslims and HIndus have broken many many promises. So you work it out ...

As the old saying goes the muslim extremist will stab facing you while the brahminwad hindu extremist will stab you in the back using all kinds of deception and tricks. Neither can be trusted and dont think many Sikhs do now...they have wised up to the events of 1947 and 1984 hence why most sikhs are lilly livered liberals now calling for sarba da bhalla and staying neutral rather than risk siding with any one side.

Both are snakes however the hindu extremist will let you live as long as they the boss and you dont ask for self governance and legislation for your own affairs. The Islamic extremist will want you to assimilate you into islam by converting you slowly under increasing harassment and discrimination or make you face extermination, minorities have a very hard time surviving under muslim majority rule.

Judging by the two I rather be on the hindutva side if it came down to it, as hindu's can be converted to Sikhi quite easily however muslims of today are mostly brain dead they have no ability to think freely beyond the 7th century arab supremest rubbish they are fed daily so harder to convert.

This is why Khalsa raj / khalistan is important for our future survival .... I have no doubt it will happen but will take many sacrifices, wise religious-political leaders and time.

From the news reports it looks the land mafia combined with Congress party activists to carry out the attacks , many of whom were Muslims thugs brought in from outside. What is more disturbing is the Uttar Pradesh police force that has a history of shooting Muslims did not come to the aid of the Sikhs. Police were deployed after the arson.

UP cops say Saharanpur riots were well-planned

Certain aspects of the Saharanpur clashes indicate meticulous planning by the rioters who had a singular agenda of dividing the Sikhs and Muslims in the western Uttar Pradesh district.
IG, Meerut Zone, Alok Sharma confirmed that the clashes were "pre-planned". "The riot was preplanned. The way the firing was done and shops were burnt indicate many possibilities...We are investigating all angles," he said.

The role of the civil and police administration is also under the scanner as the armed rioters had a free hand for nine hours till 4 pm on Saturday before the lathi-wielding policemen dispersed the mob.

ADG, Telecom, Devendra Singh Chauhan admitted that the local administration could have prevented the riots if decisions were taken promptly. "The district magistrate and the senior superintendent of police are expected to take prompt decisions in such situation.
The violence could have been averted if action was initiated at the proper time," Chauhan, who has been sent to Saharanpur as special observer, said.

The ADG said the rioters have been identified and police teams have been constituted to arrest them. The culprits will be booked under the stringent National Security Act, Chauhan added.

The rioters had a well-chalked plan as they first set ablaze the firebrigade office and fire tenders, crippling the department from carrying out any relief work. They then carried out looting and arson at the Ambala Road.

"Some rioters were lighting Molotov cocktails and throwing them inside the shops. Despite repeated requests to impose curfew in the city, the police kept saying till 4 pm that they didn't receive any order to stop the people from gathering.

Over 4,000 people had assembled at Ambala Road by 10 am. They were increasingly getting violent," cloth trader Harvinder Singh, whose shop was torched, claimed. Interestingly, the disputed plot was never a major issue for the two communities until recently. The Sikhs claimed the Muslims had claimed their rights over the plot after they bought it four years ago. Though the Muslims claimed that the plot was a Waqf property, they could not prove the same in a minority commission.

Later, they had withdrawn their claim over the plot and it was finally handed over to the Sikhs. Since then, it was a non-issue for the two communities. The construction work was started there a year ago without any opposition from the other side, the Sikh community claimed. But all of a sudden, some people objected to the construction by Sri Guru Singh Sabha and violence erupted on Saturday.

Locals also claimed that some motorcycle-borne masked men were indiscriminately firing at whosoever standing on their way, suggesting that they wanted to spread terror among the people for stopping construction at the plot.

"We saw two masked men on a motorcycle who were firing at the passers-by in Ghantaghar area," Sanjeev Bhandari, whose shop was set on fire at Ambala Road, said. Prior to the clashes on Saturday, Saharanpur had last witnessed communal violence in December 1992 when the Babri Masjid was demolished in Ayodhya.

I hear what you're saying, but there are times when you have to let them know that our love is not endless. The audacity of the muslims to carry out that attack on the Sikhs in saharanpur is unbelievable. How many muslim jamaats from india and outside have condemned their actions? That is when we know whether there are any good people from amongst them.

    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
