Niddar says that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was "taught" shastar vidya by some kapil naths or something like that. That meant that Guru Nanak Dev Ji had a Guru other than Sri Akal Purkh, which is absolute nonsense. Guru Nanak Dev Ji already had these qualities and knowledge. No-one could teach the Guru anything. If they could they were HIS Guru.

 

Beware of what you take from this video as niddar is well known for his intellectual dishonesty. And I say that from personal experience.

Definitely. Only reason I decided to post this is because it kinda relates to the topic. Notice how he also has this sort of hate towards the Taksal. He doesn't even refer to Sant Gyani Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale as Sant, let alone Bhai or any title of respect.

His Shastar Vidya isn't fake, say what you will about Gurmat or Rehit or whatever, rss, all that can be debated.  What is not debateable is dude is a top tier killer bro, with extensive understanding.

Guru Nanak also had teachers teaching languages when Guru ji was young, so how many Gurus does that add to your list?????

Are you really not able to differentiate ishtdev-Guru from vidiya-Gurus/ustads/adiyapaks etc...?

he was more controversial when there was less knowledge about Nihang Singhs and Dasam bani as well as lack of knowledge of historical granths such as Suraj Prakash as well as other historical sources.

Now that the gyaan knowledge is spreading and colonial sects and SGPC as less influential in pushing their brands of sikhi, the controversy should be much less.

Got some Singhs teaching the Vidya in the midlands if anyone is interested. They had Budha Dal UK over there for Holla Mohalla as well.

First video shows good use of taking the wrist as well as all the intercepting distances as the gap closes.

Nothing was offensive, unsafe, or rediculous in those videos. They have my cursory stamp of approval. If the Paanth wants to train with them it seems safe and legitimate. If we collaborated it would be better. Would help mature that Shastar Vidya.
