Being treated as a child. Going to school until 20s and 30s is normal. Being told what to do, what to believe, and no real responsibilities. Kept in a rarified environment of colleges. 

No chance to experience life. It's all fake secondhand knowledge. Most ppl get educated on issues from movies or social media posts.

This Singh was a rich businessman.

His children started taking care of the business. He was totally free and did very good bhagti but suddenly when he was about 70, he got himself busy in buying/selling plots to make more assets for his family.

Gursikhs can make mistakes.

Gursikhs can fall down due to haumai

Gursikhs can come under the influence of moh/Maya

A wise gursikh is one who remains humble till the end of his life.

A true Gursikh , is few and far between and they are perfect, can't remember the shabad but Guru Nanak Ji said he was lucky to touch the feet of a Gursikh or something in that vein.

There are many different spiritual avasthas and gursikhs belong to those different avasthas.

Very high avastha gursikhs or brahmgyanis are close to being perfect but still they are not perfect.

Bhai Gurdas was a pooran brahmgyani, way ahead than present day babaas.

He made a mistake and wrote:

If Guru tests His sikh, sikh shud not waver....

Guru Arjan dev ji told Bhai gurdas to correct his line, Bhai Gurdas corrected it by writing:

If Guru tests His sikh, what can the sikh do?

Yeah, even the best Gursikhs are not equal to Guru Sahib themselves.

Bhai Joga Singh was someone who took Amrit from Guru Sahib’s own hands, was always dedicated to Sikhi and would constantly do simran, but for even having one second of ego, he nearly went to a prostitute.
