Please keep in mind im a non sikh (you can probably tell by my stripes) What would happen to someone like me when i die? im a vegetarian, i believe there is one god for every living being, i try to respect nature, i recycle. In terms of religion, i have not made a commitment to any faith, but i do talk to god in my thoughts and i do believe there are a few people from osome faiths who were touched by god... so with all this.... what am i looking at? heaven? hell? reincarnation? Google me in the evening!!

To me there is no difference , yes I don't do chavar or prakash/sukhasan of my laptop but I try to read as much as I can along with translations - but in the end its the same Shabad guru - physical saroop or pdf , IMHO key is to incorporate the lessons in our day to day life - taki " halat palat mukh ujjal hoye " - we are saved in this life and hereafter. I was wondering whats the fine line in "karam" we do and "karam" God make us to do. I mean we always say "God makes us to do everything....we cant do anything by ourself...we are just the tools" Like Guru ji says: As long as someone thinks that he is the one who acts, jab lag jaanai mujh tay kachh ho-ay. he shall have no peace. tab is ka-o sukh naahee ko-ay. As long as this mortal thinks that he is the one who does things, jab ih jaanai mai kichh kartaa. he shall wander in reincarnation through the womb. tab lag garabh jon meh firtaa. But also Guru ji says that it depends upon ur "karama" whether we r close to God or not. Like: According to th…

I used to live in east london about 10 years ago. In gants hill, Ilford, seven kings areas. It was actually very nice during that time. Nice area to live in and still is in certain parts. Mostly Sikh/Hindu sri lankans in the area back then. Having visited again after so many years. Some areas feel like down town islamabad. Especialy ilford lane. people walking around in full islamic robes. But thats probably down to ramadam month. But none the less. Mostly muslim foods shops from top to bottom. While the Sikh population has declined. Only ones left are the newly arrived fresh off the bananna boat ( in search of a better phrase) Whats happening down there? Looks…

I find the lack of scheduling listings is quite annoying and hardly much time for live discussion shows most of the air time is filled with things you can find on youtube anyways.

Various instances we read articles time to time about a Sikh attacked here or a Sikh killed there doing a job. So I was thinking what is the worst jobs Sikhs are currently doing that are costing them their lives for little or no benefit and what are the most shameful jobs? I would list being a 7-11 type store clerk / working in newsagent as a high risk of death or injury so many cases of people with Sikh names being killed. And the most shameful jobs would be being enlisted in the punjab police and/or in Indian or British army where they are used as cannon fodder for our communities own persecution and fighting for other peoples illegal wars.
