I just have afew questions that I would like your help and thoughts on, as I have been thinking alot about life lately and on this aspect. I believe/think that in terms of marriage your sanjog is already. Your husband/wife is already chosen for you at birth (like the saying in wedding cards) and it is just a matter of Waheguru brining the two people together on this earth. Guru pyaari sadh sangat jee, I am writing this post with a heavy heart. I already know the answer in my heart but I want to write this down somewhere. There were two very important downfalls in my short lifetime. Both of them left scars that I cannot undo. The first major downfall happened in 2013. What's your view on sikhs kissing in public? Is it acceptable or not? Is there anything in sikhi which indicates it's wrong to do that? I personally wouldn't do that, iv had a traditional upbringing and that the way I am. But is it right or wrong?

So I'm going to the gym and i've found my body is stiff and sore especially the shoulders. As a Amritdhari, are we allowed to have a massage? If we are, I'm confused on how they will react with the kirpan. Not sure what to do on this.

Dear piyaare Sangat Jeeo I have a humble request to ask - how does one get out of suffering the consequences of slandering a saint. My background and story is complicated and so I will try to explain it in as much detail as possible in hopes that someone can help me. I am a 26 years old male who has been trying to practice sikhi, since as long as I can remember as a child. Since the start of this janam I have came into this world with a deaf ear (left ear). Confused To Do Paat?

Well i've got this urge of doing paat! - i wanna do it and feel like doing it to refresh the mind and get closer to God. I eat meat/fish (whenever), me and my family buy meat/fish and we have acohol in the house. I wanna try and set days of consuming meat/fish, i do wanna (in time) stop eating meat..fish maybe. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh Just want to know if anyone in sangat have experience of 125000 moolmantar jaaps ? Anyone gained sachepatshah jis kirpa after it or any experience if any, plz share with sangat. Although we should do 125000 in 40 days recommended by many saints, 32,33 maalas a day but I have started only 16 malas a day, hoping to complete in 75 days with guru sahibs kirpa. Take about 12 mins for one maala and all my focus remains in changing the bead of maala, As we have to shift beads so isnt it difficult to focus on moolmantar ? Hello, my faith is wavering, I have tried to upload this many times but it never has. I am not sure who to talk to about this as there is no one I am comfortable to share my thoughts. But I am struggling with religion and how to choose the right one. How do we know sikhi is the right religion rather than religions like islam and christianity. I used to be confident as a kid but as I grow up I am not as sure and lack faith. I wonder if it is because our community is small? Or fear mongering from the Abrahamic faiths Any advice or experience would be very helpful.

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
